Daruis rubbed her back as she cried, he noticed how her fairy form was shining through and pulled his hand back from the sprouting wings on her back. Instead he placed his arm around her shoulder/ "It's ok...We've all had relationships like that.... Just the ones you can't get over. Or at least thats how it feels like.." he said squeezing her arm lightly."Normally it's the first one, the one you think you'll spend your life with forever...Sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. " he said hoping he was making her feel better. "We can still have a good time, just cause he's here doesn't mean you can't have fun still" even though by the way she was acting he was worried she would crumble just from seeing him again.

Daruis looked down at the fairy as she pulled away, even though her eyes were blood shot from the tears and her cheeks were blotchy and red he still found her beautiful. He thought about saying it but in his experience when he called a woman pretty after she had been crying he got a smack or two. When Fae leaned in and pressed her lips on him he was at first taken aback wondering very briefly if it was just because she was drunk or if it was a rebound kiss but feeling the softness of her lips he didn't care. He placed both his hands on her cheeks gently and kissed her back softly.

"If it isn't my favorite toxicologist in this town." Jack said to Gill, he in fact was the only toxicologist he knew in the town. "Didn't expect to see you here at all." People from his part of town weren't well known for being festive, even Jack only came to win the contest. Something he assumed would work as Philip just left upstairs with the new flower girl.

He gave Nora a half-shrug, wanting to tell her how her family seemed more self-absorbed than that and that she was trying to justify their behavior. But he liked Nora, he didn't want to purposely make her feel bad. "Oh wow, that's hurtful." Jack did tell the girl, with a grin of all things. "I was not aware we weren't friends Nora." The man assumed she slipped over her words, he saw her as a friend. He tended to treat them a lot less worse than normal people.

Alice glared at Kyven for a solid half a minute, drinking her glass before saying. "You fooled me didn't you?!" She snarled at the man, taking another drink from the uncomfortable skeleton and threw it at Kyven's face. Then took another one and threw it again at his face. The skeleton this time backed up as she tried to take a third and made it clear he thought she had enough.

Nora stiffened when Gill looked her over, she had become rather self conscious lately when strangers looked at her. She was a bit hurt when he didn't greet her but realized she didn't really give him a proper greeting either so kept silent. She took a small sip of her drink and was surprised it actually tasted good, not like the stuff she had for the first time. It didn't burn her throat or anything. She smiled slightly and took another sip. She gave Jack a slightly startled look and then smiled sheepishly. "O-oh well...I just didn't know you considered me a friend..j-just kind of assumed you just saw me as a kid of your friend..." she said feeling warm and bubbly inside. "I'm sorry...so I suppose I have one friend." she said cheerfully. Although she wasn't enjoying herself much at least she realized she had one friend in town. She gave Gill a weak smile. "Yes it's uh...my first time at one of these too...Can't say it's my favorite thing in the world..." Normally she spent her halloween nights sitting at home it was almost always stormy at her house around this time, perfect weather for reading her favorite horror books.

Kyven let out a small gasp when the drink was thrown in his face. He tried to wipe the booze off his face while his makeup streamed down his face making him look like a mess. "H-hey now I just thought you'd-" before he could finish she threw another one in his face. He glared up at her and used his sleeve to wipe his face off, but nearly his entire front of the rather expensive dress he had bought was soaked. "It's not my fault you thought I was a girl! It was just a wig Alice! And not even a good wig, it was a straw wig. It was literally made out of straw no one has straw hair! I didn't fool you, you're just either blind or stupid!" he snarled at her.

Daruis sat there bewildered by what had just happened and feeling slightly rejected that she had ran away. He couldn't help but to dwell slightly on the thoughts that he had before he had kissed her back. Had she just done it because she was drunk? Or was it just because perhaps she just had left over feelings for the gnome and wanted to kiss him but instead Daruis had been there instead and she had to make do. He sat there for several minutes debating what to do. He didn't really want to stay here, though he did want to meet more people...but then again he couldn't just leave her alone. But maybe thats what she wanted, just to be alone. He was never very good at figuring what women wanted. He finally made up his mind and stood up, he hoped she returned to the inn.

Kyven sheilded his face from the cookies that were being thrown at him. A small group of the undead quickly ran over and began sweeping up the cookies to clean up the mess. "Hey! Stop that you're an adult! A very drunk tall adult and you need to act like..a non drunk adult!" he yelled at her angrily."I think you might be blind or something. It was literal straw! Like hay! It looked like crap!" Other party goers were staring at the pair now with raised eye brows and were muttering. "You're the captain ! Act like it!"[/color'] He quickly used his magic to bind her hands together to stop her from throwing cookies and other food.

Gill l looked down at the small pink vial that Jack had revealed for short period of time before hiding it again, nodding in agreement. "I would very much like to know what it does myself," the spirit said blankly before looking at Nora again as Jack introduced them. "Sorry, I'm not really one for being too friendly. it's nice to meet you," Gill said, the voice in his head going back to shouting demeaning and ill thoughts about the girl as the male looked at her.

Gill, hearing the dispute happen between Alice and Kyven, watched as Jack managed to dodge the pie thrown at him. "Don't..." the spirit said with a sigh before pulling his hood up over his head so nothing would hit is hair or face. "Nora, if you would come with me," Gill said, knowing she probably was not one to be involved in such things, quickly taking her outside to watch from afar. "If you want to go back inside you can although I suggest you stay out here until it's over," the spirit took his hood back down and crossed his arms, watching as everyone chose their sides and their areas.

The skeleton band started to pick up, playing and singing their food fight anthem. Jack took off into the air, flying over to the town guards as quickly as he could and landed behind them. "Well Elderahn isn't starving, we're doing pretty good." She told Kyven, they did have a surplus of wealth and a low poverty rate. Seeing the nephalem land by them Alice readied a cupcake at the man, who held an arm up. "Truce?" He asked with a grin. With narrow eyes, Alice nodded. She didn't trust Jack, but planned to cupcake him in the back when his guard fell.

Extending his arm, one of the tables nearby broke apart into small pieces, and constructed itself into a rapid fire pie cannon. From his satchel, Jack took out a few pumpkin pies he readied for this occasion, loading them into the cannon. "Hey short stuff, you're short, go grab us more pies." He told Kyven, as Alice began loading her cupcakes into the cannon.

Annthea was escorted safely outside by her undead giant, who placed her safely down by the other two. She looked angrily inside at the fight. It would take her servants days to clean up the mess! "I open my home, every year and this is what they do! Every time!" She said angrily to no one specific. Looking over at Gill and Nora. "Who are you two even?"

Kyven stared at Alice with an un amused look on his face, well at least she wasn't mad at him anymore. He stared at Jack with a frown when the man made a pie throwing cannon "I-it's a food fight we don't need that..." it just seemed an unfair example, but as he glanced around the room he noticed people all around the room were using their magic powers in the food fight. He gave a small shrug and glanced over at the table that had the pies. He quickly flew over and grabbed a large arm fulls of pie and flew back over and placed them down on the floor by the cannon. "D-does this happen every year?" He saw some of the people who were getting hit by the food throwing themselves to the floor and pretend to die.

Nora stared in disbeliefe as jack made a cannon and began loading sweets into it. "Thats such a waste of tasty treats..." she hadn't even had time to try any of the food before these people began throwing it at each other. She gave a small shrug to Gill. "Can't really say I am either...I was pretty much forced out." she didn't mention how she didn't leave her house for months at a time and only if she really needed to. Which was hardly ever.

She gave the girl who came out and stood next to them. "Oh...just someone who doesn't want to get covered in food...I'm Nora. " she said with a frown. She scowled hearing this happened every year. Neither her aunt or father told her about this! They just told her to come out and oh how fun it would be. Nothing about throwing food everywhere. "I wouldn't let them here again. I mean...why...?"
