Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska gave a nod to Aravae. "Always think, 'How useful?' Make life easy wilds. New ideas spring mind always." He then motioned to the bedroll. "Rest. Safe. Cold mornings. Bedroll warm."Once that was done he looked over the furs, drawing a circle with his hands before smoothing the circle out several times, as if imitating a dog going in circles before laying down, or doing his best to do so. When he was satisfied he shifted onto the smoothed out area and sat cross legged, one of the longsword's resting against his shoulder, his bow across his lap and his head tucked towards the gap in his legs from the cross legged formation. His eyes were already closed and his breathing slowed to the point where he seemed to be sleeping sitting up, however every noise made his ears flick and twitch, showing he was alert even when resting. Every few minutes one eye would open, quickly look around and then close. He was no military watchmen, but from his lifestyle it seemed he had developed his own way of being alert while resting, even if it was a bit strange or creepy to others.

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Aravae smiled warmly and then nodded, curling up on her side on the bedroll. She watched Desks with a curious expression in her face as he moves in circles in top of the fur blankets. She couldn't help but think it was similar to the way a dog moved. "Good night, Veska." Once he was situated it didn't take long for him to fall asleep, her bow in his lap and the longsword within reach. Then as few minutes later one of his eyes popped open and looked around for a moment before closing again. His ears twitched at every little sound. Alert even in his sleep. Ara watched him for a few minutes before her eyes slowly started to close. Her breathing deepened and slowed and a few minutes later she was sound asleep, her chest rising and falling slowly and rythimcally. Ocassionally though out the night she would awake with a start to one of the many sounds of the forest. She wasn't use to these noises. The palace grounds were always silent come nightfall. Ara liked this better, but she still wasn't quite accustomed to them yet. When she did wake it took her sleepy eyes a few minutes to adjust, but soon they were able to make out Veska's shape through the darkness, still in that same strange position from before. Most people would have trouple's sleeping in such a situation. After being attacked by bandits and escaping into the forest, with only a stanger, a wild-man, for company. Ara slept quite peacefully though. Likely partly due to the exhausting events of the day. Still though, most would feel uneasy. Ara didn't. Veska had saved her life twice already. Besides that, he was blunt and to the point. She trusted him more than most people from the castle. They all had secret agendas and devious plans to better themselves and get to the top. Veska however, had one goal, and that was simply to survive. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia The night passed without anything coming after their place of safety, and as the morning mist began to settle itself into the brambles and forest, Veska awoke fully with a small shiver. It had been a while since he had slept without a bedroll. As quietly as he could he set aside the weapons that were leaning against him and moved to the entrance and pushing it aside. Once outside he began to collect sticks that were simply laying about on the ground, bending them to see how green they might still be. Those that were to flexible he set aside, the next time he came here they would most likely be usable. Once he had a large bundle under one arm he returned to the shelter of brambles and crawled back in. The bundle of sticks was set to the side and he picked a grouping of smaller ones, making sure to make as little noise as possible as he worked, eyes glancing over to the sleeping Aravae in the bedroll. She seemed to be resting well enough. Nothing that showed she was in any pain or having trouble sleeping. Once he had made a small pyramid of sticks he moved over to the backpack next to the bedroll and slowly pulled out his flint and steel, staying still for a moment and then closing the bag before moving back to the small ring of rocks. A few expertly placed strikes and a fire was started that quickly flared to life with a few gentle breaths. The small trickle of smoke escaped from the opening above in the brambles, but the heat began to fill the natural room well enough after a time, warming up the place so as to make it more comfortable. Veska simply sat and held his hands out to the fire, crouched while he warmed up.

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Aravae slept well, considering her situation. She slept soundly throughout the night, too exhausted for even the slightest dreams. Too exhausted to worry about where she was, who she was with, or what might come next. Other women, especially noble women, likely would have reacted much differently in a situation like this, considering the survived that initial attack. The only reason Aravae had still been alive when Veska showed up to help was because she knew how to defend herself, she knew how to wield a blade. Most women didn't. While most women, especial of her class, would think Veska a savage and distrust him, Aravae saw differently. She liked him so far and up to this point he hadn't given her any reason not to trust him. He saved her life, gave her shelter. The way she saw it, she owed Veska, more than just the gold she was paying him. Aravae didn't awake right when Veska did and the man was quiet enough to keep from waking her. She stayed resting while he left to collect wood for the fire and only started to come too as he began making the fire. She didn't open her eyes right away, instead she took a few moments to assess her situation. She went back over the details from the day before right up until she had drifted asleep. her shoulder was still tender, throbbing softly every now and then, but Veska had done well treating to it. In time it would heal and be nothing more than a scar. A few moments later her blue eyes fluttered open and she pushed herself into a sitting position, stretching out her limbs. Her eyes turned to Veska, warming his hands by the fire. The sight sent a pang of guilt through her. He must have been cold throughout the night without his bedroll. She offered him a small smile before speaking. "Good morning... Hopefully you slept well?" Her words were somewhat in between a statement and a question. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━((OOC: I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long. I was in an accident and have been in and out off the hospital the past few weeks.))

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska looked up from the small fire he had made and motioned her over to it, speaking as he did so. "Me sleep good. You sleep good?" Was all he stated before tilting his head to listen at some of the noises of the morning before nodding. "Move today. Travel. Walk far. Wrap feet in fur. Shoes wear no good." He motioned to the furs he had slept on. After that was stated and done he moved from there to gather up some of the jerky that was still hanging up, chewing on it. "Food. Eat. Gather more on way. Wild better." A few more sticks were added and then he went back to nibbling on his jerky, ears still flicking about every now and then as he listened to what bird songs their were and when the fire crackled the pointed ears did a little dance up and down. In the light and without the mask and without anything bothering to try and hunt them he seemed much more relaxed in terms of how tense his body was. It wasn't fully gone, but the clenching and releasing of muscles seemed to be gone at every sound that was made. His face was peaceful rather than grim, if not slightly neutral. However his gaze and look did not last long on her, instead, now shifting to move and begin to pack up the loose odds and ends of the tiny campsite. After nibbling on the dry jerky for a moment and cleaning up furs and weapons into a solid bundle, he looked over his shoulder at her. "Wound good? Need check? Rinse? Cover?"

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━"Yes, I slept well. Thank you." She said, shoving closer to the fire as he motioned to it. The morning g hair was quite chilly with it the protection of the bedroom. She could not imagine what the night had been like. The fire was doing wel to wear up the small space though, making it much more comfortable. Aravae gave another nod when he spoke of the land today. She was glad to be on their way. Once they reached the next town she could hopefully find something that was better than her torn and blood -stained dress. On the other hand that meant she would soon be back on the path to an arranged marriage. Ara bit her lip, holding in a sigh. She pushed those thoughts from her mind, no point dwelling on it. Right now she beeded a clear mind to focus on traveling and surviving. Who know what today would have in store for them. Ara took a piece of the jerky that was hanging and begin nibbling on it, watching the flames of the fire flicker. It was quiet between the two of them, but it did not fee awkward or strained like the silences at court did. She peered up at him slightly, moving only her eyes, not her head or her body. In the peace and quiet, in the flickering light of the fire., it brought a new softness to him. He seemed much calmer and much more relaxed than he had so far. Although, his ears still twitched at the littlest of sounds. After a few minutes Veska began to pack up the camp. "Can I help you with anything?" She asked, seeming almost eager to help. She wanted to help we here she could, seeing how Veska had already done so much for her. W hen he asked about her wound she cranes her neck slightly to look at the wound. The bandages seemed clean enough for now. Plus, she didn't want the pain of cleaning it right before a long journey. "I think it will be a right for now. We will check it when we stop tonight."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska shook his head. "No. No help." He stated initially, having gone back to working on the furs and bundling the weapons he had gathered into them for safe keeping. Then another glance over his shoulder and Veska paused. He made a motion to the bedroll she had slept in. "Pack sleep place. Continue eat. That help. Make sure ready travel. Leave soon."Then Veska was back to packing. Despite his best efforts to make it go by quickly, it still took the elf more than a few minutes to get all of the mercantile items he would be carrying in a way that he could tie it under the backpack and be able to move effectively. The hilts of the swords stuck out from the furs in an obvious way, no need to try and hide them. "No hunt." He muttered under his breath. "Slow." he hefted the total weight and gave a nod. "Slow..." His face turned to a frown as he said it a second time. "Aravae. If danger. Run. No stay. Me fight. No you." He glanced back to her and gave a stern look. "No stop if danger. Keep sword." he motioned to the sword she had picked out before. "Only protect." Veska then set the bundle down and counted his arrows in his quiver and checked the wood of his bow, giving both a nod. "Good." He then checked his bone dagger, giving that a nod as well and quickly slamming it back into its sheath. "Morning, always check. Keep track own things. No time searching. Waste time. Always move." Veska did his best to explain as he continued cleaning up the camp. After the bundle he was now storing away flint and steel and sticking a few sticks into his backpack on the outer rim, as if to protect what was going inside, or make a thin, makeshift shield on the inside. Seemed he was thinking that they were going to encounter trouble. Just as Veska was about to say something he held up a hand for silence, tilted his head and gave a nod, lowering it. "Leave soon. Smoke distract. Think you. Hunters lose time. We gain. Kill any encounter. Bow, arrow. Scavenge. Keep move. No danger now. Might later."

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The more time she spent with Veska, the more she felt that she couldn't have fallen into better hands. Somehow he had succeeded in protecting her when an entire squalid of knights and guards had failed. Aravae was sure she hadn't ever met a man who could do the things that Veska could. She didn't think there was a single knight back at the castle that could have gotten her away from those bandits singlehandedly. Ara gave a small nod as Veska stated he didn't need any help and watched him as he worked to bundle the weapons that they had gathered into his furs. At his next words she gave a small nod and began packi g up the bedroom. Once she was finished she sat back down and finished her jerky before turning her eyes back to Veska. "I'm ready."Aravae listened closely as Veska began giving her intructions for the the journey. She was quiet as he explained and nodded to show she understood. "Slow." She agreed. She nodded to his next words as well, but something didn't quite sit right there. She didn't feel good about leaving him to fight off her foes alone. She was about to object, but his stern look caught her off guard and she fell silent for a moment. "Alright, but, Veska... what if you get hurt? What if you need help?" She asked slowly as she picked up the sword she had claimed as her own earlier. As Veska continued instructing her she gave a few mire nods, taking note of the important details. Afterwards she stood up and sheathed her sword at her hip and collected the bed roll she had backed up. She looked to Veska and gave a small nod. "I'll follow your lead. I trust you." She told him with a soft smile. The smile faded after a moment, turning into a more determined expression. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska gave one final look at the fire and gave a nod. He wouldn't put it out but he wanted to make sure it didn't have a chance in setting the forest on fire. This was his home after all and he didn't want it burning down. Once he poked it a few times he just gave a nod. "No spread." He then moved to tie everything together, putting the the bundle of goods at the bottom, securing it into place with a small cinch of buckles and belts. The extra food was slipped into a now bulging pouch at his side. A longsword was on one hip, the dagger in the middle of his belt, the quiver of arrows on the other hip and his bow in hand. "That fine. Me paid fight. You die no pay. Me die free charge. Good me die you." He gave a small chuckle and then moved to begin crawling out of the brambles that they were camped in. He made a small whistling noise like a bird once he was on the other side, an arrow ready in his bow as he continued to scan the area, kneeling next to the entrance while he waited for Aravae to come out of the temporary encampment. His gaze was distracted by two birds dancing through the air and he couldn't help but offer a grim smile. They were so innocent to the war that was now waging within their home. Ensuring that the lady he was now escorting was either killed by one side, or secured and safely escorted by another. Normally he would have played a neutral roll in both, but here he was helping one side exclusively. He glanced over to where the dead bodies of the bandits from last night were vaguely hidden. The blood smears on the ground having been covered up as best as he could make them be, though from the sounds of last night, animals had probably gotten to them by now. He was just glad he had stripped them of most of their armor to prevent animals from having to chew through their own kind's leather to get to the meat beneath.

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Aravae didn't really agree that it would be alright if he died, but she decided not to argue the subject any further. She understood the logic behind what he was saying, still she didn't wish him dead. For now she would just hope that they weren't put into another life threatening situation. If they we're, well the. They would deal with it when the time came. There was no point in fretting about it now. It would be batter to have a clear head. Ara watched quietly as Veska poked around the fire for a moment. After declaring it safe he gathered up his things before making his way out of the shelter. Aravae made her way out just behind him. She took a deep breath once she was outside, breathing in the cool morning air. Ara loved it. The way the forest smelled, the cool breeze on her face, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves. She could see why Veska preferred it over the city. As she looked around, the forest was marked by their battle with the bandits. Veska had tried to hide the bodies and cover the blood as much as he could, but both were still visible. Her w yes roamed over the scene for a moment before landing back on Veska. "Which way?" She asked him. As a princess who was raised in a castle, she didn't habe much of any experience in navigati g the wilderness. She could read and understand a map, but she didn't have that same instinct that Veska seemed to. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska flicked his ears a few times when she asked which way and he moved to slip his mask over his face, drawing up the rest of the clothing. He made a motion with his hand pointing to their left. "We go." He stated simply, moving to stand up and begin walking without trying to hide his presence in the woodlands that now surrounded them. "Safe now. Move not hide." He explained as he vaulted over a rather large root, turning to offer Aravae a hand. Now that they were on the move Veska was much more animated, as the birds of the morning chirped, his head moved to swivel and look in the direction of the sound with pin point accuracy. After one bird song he would look to the next and more than a few times his gaze went from the branches towards something in the distance. He would ever once in a while make a subtle motion for Aravae to look. It was either wolves, foxes, or deer getting ready to either sleep or walking along some game trail. The animals were always looking in their direction, as if having caught sight of the two of them at the same time that Veska had caught sight of the animals. "Animal peaceful." he stated every now and then, almost cooing. When he was not looking at animals he was reaching a hand out to a bush or plant and picking at them just as they passed by, collecting a few berries or tugging up a small root plant. He never stopped walking as he gathered, for instance, root gathering was only after he climbed over a gnarled root or rotten log and he was crouched. Berries that were only at arms length were picked. More than a few times he stopped dead in his tracks and very gently stepped over something. He would point it out to Aravae and it was almost always a trail of ants going about their never ending work day. Other times he would point it out just for her to look down so he could flick her nose with a finger and give a small laugh. "Head up. Strong." He would always say after the joke.

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Traveling with Veska was unlike anything Aravae had ever experienced before. It was spectactular. The princess didn't think she had ever had such a good time in her life. Ara had nearly forgotten about the bandits, the war that was soon to break out, and her arranged husband. There was do much to see. There were trees and gardens on the palace grounds but in truths she had never really been in a forest. Especially not as deep as this. Her blue eyes were wide and full of wonder as she looked around at the many sights of the woods. What was possibly more interesting then her surroundings was Veska. Now that he was out in the open he was much more excited and animated. He was constantly pointing this way and that, usually pointing out some sort of wildlife. Ara occasionally got distracted, lingerng to watch whichever animal it was. Veska on the other hand never stopped moving. Even as he picked roots and and berries. He was constantly keeping a steady pace. It was really amazing to watch. She was sure he looked much more graceful trekking along than she did. Ara couldn't help but smile as she watched Veska. He didn't only point out the wildlife. Occasionally he was very carefully are over something and point out a trail of ants. She wasn't even sure how he was able to spot them so easily. Ara would very carefully step over them before continuing along the path. Once he pointed down at the ground only to flock her nose teasingly. A soft blush filled her cheeks as she looked up at him. When he laughed Ara couldn't help but smile. She hadn't heard him laugh yet. Afterwards she laughed, poking him softly in the side. "Good advice." She then told him. He continued to do that throughout their journey. Sometimes he would get her, but sometimes she would grab his hand playfully before he could. "Gotcha." She would say Afterwards, a teasing smirk on her lips. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia When she would catch his finger he would actually be surprised, blinking as he moved to tug at his finger gently to try and get her to release it before she let go with a 'Gotcha' and then she herself would laugh. His ears flicked several times and he then laughed along as well. "Quick hand. Feet quick?" He asked before doing a small little two step with another chuckle. If she would match him for one thing he would ask about something else and then do a relatively simple challenge to match his question and words. It wasn't until about mid-day of this travel did he finally pause. They reached a small spring of fresh water, gurgling about quietly. Rather than step up to it to immediately begin to refill his waterskin's he put a hand up as his ears flicked and he motioned for his companion to go off to the side behind a tree. He then placed a finger to his mask for silence. Veska then stepped out towards the spring and he knelt slowly, inspecting the water. He then shifted to the left with a grunt as his over filled backpack threw him off more than he wanted as an arrow whistled by. Three men stood up with bows drawn and arrows at the ready. Veska twisted on a foot, turning the backpack to face them as the arrows flew, three solid thumps as the arrows sunk into a line of wooden sticks. He drew out the bone dagger and continued the pivot, throwing it at one as he fell onto his side. It sunk into the man's neck, but Veska was the one to grunt as he awkwardly drew two arrows, firing one at one and letting it sink into the man's chest right through to the heart, the other however found itself in one of the man's hands. "Capture. Surrender. Questions." He was drawing a third arrow out and pointing it at the man with narrowed eyes behind the mask. Veska also let out a short whistle. "Safe now." He called out to the forest.

ɑɾɑvɑҽ ☪ ɓҽɑυოoɲʈ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The smirk on her lips grew when she noticed the surprise he showed after she captured his finger. She was happy to,see that he joined in a laughed with her. At his question she smiled at him. "I grew up with older brothers. I had to be quick." Ara stated with a laugh. A moment later she mimicked the two-are he had done and looked to him to see what was next. The mask concealed most of his face, but she could sense a challenge coming. They traveled for awhile before finally coming to a stop in a clearing with a stream in it. Veska didn't head towards it unmediated. He gestured to a tree a few feet away. Her blue eyes flicked between Veska and the tree for a moment before she finally obeyed. She walked over to the tree and obscured herself behind it. At the sound of an arrow whizzing through the air, her hand automatically flew to the hilt of her blade. She didn't draw it yet and she forced herself to stay hidden as Veska had instructed. Ara waited patiently behind the tree, straining to hear what was going on. It didn't sound like there was very many of them, which made her feel better. She had seen Veska conquer much larger forces. However, he wasn't loaded down with supplies then. Ara waited for a sign from Veska to come out. When she heard his voice she stepped out of hiding, her eyes quickly scanning the clearing. Two of the men were dead and a third one was being held in place by the arrow threatening to launch from Veska's bow. Glad to see Veska was alright she came to stand beside Veska, her own blue eyes narrowing as she looked at him. She had a strange suspicion they were from the same group of bandits from before, but that's not how bandits worked. They wouldn't focus all their energy on two individuals. "What do you want with us?" She asked simply and though she was a woman and quite small in stature, she sounded intimidating as she addressed the man. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Veska "Knife-Ear" Lorlilia Veska shifted from his side with a grunt. He had done the maneuvering on his hurt leg. It was not going to be a pleasant walk after this, but he had avoided getting further wounded so that was something to consider. The man was just raising his hands slowly, one with an arrow sticking out of it, hand ruined. Veska just moved to stand next to Aravae after he had gotten up from his toppled position, only giving her a small nod. This was her enemy to talk to, not him. He was just the strong arm of the duo. Besides, he wasn't much for interrogating anyways with his broken words. The bandit just looked between the two, unsure of what to do. "I-I-I was just hired I swear! T-They just told me a masked man and a woman. Please don't kill me!" The man practically begged, dropping to his knees and prostrating himself before them. Veska began to lax the bow slowly. "No man. Weak. Die soon." He whispered to Aravae, motioning with his head to the forest. "Nature hungry."The man on the ground however had other plans. As soon as Veska had dropped his guard, the man lunged forward, drawing a knife. "Die Beaumont b***h!" He growled as he took the mad dash forward. Veska didn't have time to re draw and aim accurately so instead he stepped forward and with a grunt took a dagger to the shoulder. He dropped his bow and grabbed the arm, holding it in place and he snarled. "Aravae. Kill." It was a simple, brutal command for the woman he was meant to be protecting.
