I look towards the C with me, he's asked a lot of big questions, but I can't say anything to him; he'll get all upset and angry. I continue towards the small town, a windmill at its heart.

I nodded "It is..." I saw two blimps in the distance "Who are those guys?" I blinked, "We better be careful.."

I hid behind my comrade, "I have a bad feeling.."

"Do you think they're like us, Mages?!" I asked my comrade surprised.

I can't believe now that I was actually laughing. I was enjoying it, at least before I woke up. I had been holding their child up in the air, squeezing its throat till it couldnt breathe. Then, just as I realized what I was doing, it went limp. I dropped the rat child to the floor, stepping back in horror, and heard another voice, filled with the same sick satisfaction mine had only moments ago. The rest of the family cried out in pain, covered in a thick green slime that entered their bodies at whatever point it could. I couldnt stand by and watch it any longer, and so I lunged at the C type responcible. My hands quickly wrapped around the other's throat, squeezing just as hard as I had the child's. Its yellow eyes dialated as it stared at me, mine narrowing with the strain. "One Fourty Three," It wheezed. "Why? I thought we were friends-" I wouldnt let it say anymore. The task was hard enough as it was, and so I cast the first spell that came to mind, Stone. The poor creature was quickly consumed by a sweeping gray disease. Before long it was completely stone. A dragon fly buzzed by, quickly caught in the spell as well and falling to the ground. I turned to the family of Cleyran's, but they were no longer alive, killed by the poison. They looked like they were better off than most, their bodies, even their childrens' covered in gems. I could feel the tree trembling, and my eyes glanced upwards, a large ball of light visible in the sky. My ears detected the sound of reptilian skin scraping against bark, and in an instant I had taken the C type's staff. I rounded on the creature, a Lamia, and struck it in the side of the head, quickly casting stone to save it from death. Strange, usually these monsters didnt linger in this area, they prefered the moist enviroment of the dragons gate. There was the sound of galloping hooves, and I looked skyward once more, to behold a great and fearsome creature riding towards me, its lance held at the ready. I raised my staff in defense, and the rest was simply a blur.

I'm not sure how long I'd been knocked out, but I eventually came to. I was lying not far from Burmecia, which I could see in the distance. I've been here for few days, trying to find some of my own kind, avoiding what Burmecians have stayed. I find the rain rather suitable, its strangely soothing. I suppose I could stay here the rest of my life it werent so lonesome. I havent yet gained the ability to speak, and how two fourty three, I dont know how I remember his number, could speak is beyond me. I cant remember much else from before, but I do know that I want to find others like me, If only I knew where to start.

I gripped my staff tightly as one of the mages called out to us "Hello..." I said lowly, he would more than likely not of heard me.

I saw my companion grip his staff cautiously, I advanced slowly, "We can hear you!" I have yelled back, "I wonder if any monsters do too," I half muttered to myself, looking around.
