Adrien sighed softly, knowing that she was not too hurt. "Good..." Then he straightened up again and knelt in front of Tundra. "Guess I'll have to be more vigilant next time... No more sleeping for that long." he said, grinning. "And don't worry about it, Tundra. I am pretty much a stranger, sort of... And a thief. So, distrust doesn't offend me." He looked up at Melody again. "But, seriously, I think I might move you to the guild temporarily until this other guild is taken care of. It'd be safer for you to stay at the Thieves' Guild."

"But what about Tundra? I can't sell him. He's.....special to me...." She said as Tundra went over to her and nuzzled her hand as she pet him. As she pet him she had a sad smile on her face that said it all. Tundra was the only one who understood and felt bad for her during these times. He was her best and only friends besides Adrien, that knew about her past.

"You can bring 'im with ya!" Adrien answered, grinning. "The boss won't mind a dog there. So as long as Tundra doesn't give away our hideout." he clarified, nodding his head. "Truth be told, the boss really likes animals, so he won't mind. Oh, but don't tell anyone at the guild that he likes animals. He's got an image to keep." He smiled more and sat on the windowsill. "Pack what you can, and don't worry about food and stuff. We'll take care of that."

Melody nodded and said "Alright." She then went to pack some clothing as well as Tundra's things and a couple things she couldn't live without, which consisted of a diary that her brother had before leaving for war and a few frameless pictures of her older brother who died in the war a couple years ago and once she was sure it would all fit in two suitecases packed like she was in the army. Once everything was packed, and Tundra was on his leash, waiting at the door, Melody carried the suitcases out to the living room and said goodbye to her home. She was nervous about going to a thieves guild but knew Adrien would stand up for her if need be. "Are you sure it will be okay Adrien? I don't want to impose on your boss." She said wanting to make sure it was okay. Tundra was waiting by the door. Melody made sure to pack his food and water dishes for the trip. Tundra could tell she was nervous and whimpered a bit wanting to help.

Adrien reached over and took the suitcases from her, to ease her load that she was carrying. "Don't worry, the boss won't mind. Though, we'll probably be a bit cramped, so you may have to room with me in one of the spare rooms. But, since you let me have a place to stay, I really doubt he'd mind." he said, as he headed out the door. He walked quietly for a while, then looked over at her. "Though, when you leave, you may...have to have your memories of where the Thieves' Guild is erased. Wouldn't want people to be able to find it, or get it out of you. But don't worry! Nothing else will be altered or touched!" He paused a moment, then looked down at the ground. "Sorry that this happened... I wasn't expecting them to be here..." he said, feeling genuinely guilty about what happened to Melody.

"I don't blame you Adiren. Really. I know it wasn't your fault. It was mine for actually letting them in. And as to the mind erasing, I don't mind as long as it doesn't hurt too much." She said before she hugged him. "Thanks for being a great friend Adrien." She said before letting him go. Tundra was watching them as they walked wondering where they were going and why they had to leave their friends. he whimpered a bit looking back at the small town they were leaving behind

Adrien looked at her and smiled, nodding his head. "Cool. Thanks, Melody. I'm...surprised you're calm about it... I'm used to people going nuts about things going bad for them." he said, rubbing the back of his head a little. He led them down an alley, and to a dead end. Then he glanced around, and set one of the suitcases down, pulling off his glove on his right hand. On the palm of his hand was an insignia of a crescent moon entangled with with looked like a snake. He pressed his palm against one of the stones on the wall, and it shifted as it opened up into a passageway leading down underground. Adrien put his glove back on and picked up the bag again, smiling at her. "Follow me." he said, heading into the passageway.

Melody nodded and followed Adrien with Tundra close behind. She was a bit surprised at the entrance but wouldn't tell anyone. Tundra stayed close to Melody for protection reasons as he was getting strange vibes from this place. As they went into the hideout, Melody was started to get a bit scared about this. Everyone who was there started looking at them as they entered and went to meet the boss. Tundra glared at them as he did Adrien before he saved Melody from those guys.

Adrien greeted the men and women they passed, with his usual cheery disposition. Several of them greeted him with respect, as though they saw him as someone who was higher than them, even though most were older than him. They soon reached an entryway, blocked off by a green cloth with the same insignia as the one on Adrien's palm. He stood outside of it and gave a soft bird call, which was soon answered by a different bird call. As he walked inside, the room was lined with bookshelves covered with scrolls and journals, with a large desk in the center of the room. A man with a black cloak stood at the desk and looked up from the map on the table. His face was concealed by a blank black mask, but his voice obviously showed he was a pleasant man. "Adrien! My little sparrow. This must be the young lady you spoke of yesterday." he said, as he took Melody's free hand. "I have heard many good things about you, my dear. And I extend my hand in thanks for helping our little sparrow. He's the best thief we have, and it would pain me to lose him. But he is so stubborn and refuses to move into the guild." The man gently pulled his hand back to ruffle Adrien's orange hair, tossing it around. Adrien blushed a little, looking embarrassed, but he said nothing. The boss was always kind to him, and Adrien thought of this man as his own father, since he never knew his parents.

Tundra growled as the boss took Melody's hand. He was not sure of the boss just yet. Tundra wasn't too trusting of others since Melody's last boyfriend was abusive and Tundra actually saved Melody's life. Melody giggled at Adrien and said "It's no trouble. To be honest, Tundra and I were being evicted. Had he not come along, we wouldn't be his friends now." She said before hearing Tundra growling a bit. "Tundra, behave yourself. He's only trying to be friends." She said petting Tundra's head to get him to calm down. Tundra wagged his tail a bit as Melody pet him. He looked up at her before she smiled at him. "I'm sorry about Tundra's behavior. He's always been really protective of me." She said before she felt something on her hand as she pet her Husky. It was blood from his back. he had opened the wound on his back from slamming into the wall during the walk here. "Do you have a first aid kit by chance?" She asked blushing some. Tundra was like her child and because of this she didn't want to lose him in any way.

The boss tapped the chin on his mask, then nodded his head. "We have better. Adrien can heal his wound. He's one of the few thieves' in the guild who can use magic still." he said, clapping Adrien on the shoulder. Then he addressed Adrien and added, "Care for her and her dog first, then come report to me. You look rather disturbed, so I assume it is important." Adrien nodded and looked at Melody with a smile. "Well, follow me. We'll go quickly to the room and I can take care of Tundra." he said. "And I promise it won't hurt him. The wound itself isn't too deep, but it's still a bad scrape." he added, as he led her down the hall to another room, blocked off by a black cloth with the insignia on it in white. He lifted the flap for her, revealing the room with a normal bed, a dresser, and a desk. It was utterly ordinary aside from the straw bed on the floor, which Adrien usually slept on. Then he sat on the floor and beckoned Tundra over to him. "Come here, Tundra. Let me take care of that wound for you."

Tundra went over to Adrien making Melody smile at the fact that Tundra liked Adrien now. "I guess he trusts you now that he knows you won't hurt me." Melody said as Tundra laid down carefully so as to not open the wound any further panting softly as he did so. Melody saw the content look on Tundra's face and giggled. Melody's dog ears and tail signified that she was an Inu and a wolf one at that. As such she had the ability to understand certain creatures, mostly dogs. Though she could understand dogs, she could understand a few others but not many but she was happy seeing Tundra making a new friend. Tundra laid his head on Adrien's leg as he laid next to his new friend with a wagging tail knowing he would never hurt Melody on purpose. Tundra didn't have many friends that were human or otherwise, so it was a welcome sight to Melody to see Tundra making a friend.

Adrien felt his cheeks flush a little as Tundra set his head on his lap. He had always been chased by dogs, so he never had been on good terms with them, and was relatively surprised that Tundra even came over to him. Nevertheless, Adrien set his hands over the wound, without touching his back, and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath, then exhaled as his hands started to glow a little. Tundra's wound slowly closed on his back, leaving no trace of being hurt, and the pain that the husky was feeling quickly faded as Adrien worked the spell into his back. When he finished, Adrien opened his eyes and gently ruffled Tundra's back. "All that's left is to wash out the blood from your fur, Tundra. But, that wound won't be bothering you anymore."

Tundra got up and licked Adrien's face. Melody couldn't help but giggle as Tundra did this. "See Tundra I told you that we could trust him." she said before Tundra went over to her and jumped onto the bed to lay down. Melody sat on the bed with Tundra and said "Thank you for all you've done Adrien. If there's any way at all that I can help around here, tell your boss I'll do whatever I can to earn our keep." She then smiled at him glad that she had a friend that actually cared about her. She had a secret though, and it included Tundra as well. They were not as they appeared. Melody was an inu but she had secret powers that no one knew about and Tundra was not actually a dog, but a legendary, angelic being that was well known among thieves and races. He was said to be a myth until Melody found him and covered his true form with her powers to protect him.

Adrien laid back on his makeshift straw bed and sighed happily. "Yes, but as far as the boss is concerned, your taking care of me is more than enough for him." He stared at the ceiling for a while, then sat up quickly. "I gotta go report to the boss what I learned earlier, but then I'll come back and show you around. So you know where things are while you're here." he said, standing and flexing his hands. Then he walked out of the room, and tapped the wall with his finger, placing a small ward to alert him of any trespassers who meant harm to Melody. He walked to the boss' room to discuss his earlier finding of the men from the other guild. The news troubled the boss, and he immediately set out on forming a plan to rid the town of the other guild before they caused too much trouble.
