"Well, who said you weren't? Adanna was carrying me in her arms and then you took me from her arms and then ran away with me! What the heck was that about if you aren't a bad guy?"
Elissa put her hands on her hips, and although she was frowning, it looked rather adorable on her.

Adanna watched Lance and a small smile appeared on her lips, but quickly disappeared when she fell backwards into the wagon. Sitting up in the wagon, she grabbed onto her armor and placed it near the front to make sure it was safe. Jumping out of the wagon, she held onto the side of it so she could watch her armor carefully.

Talon pulled her close and looked her dead in the eyes.
"I have my reasons....just let it be at that."
He then walked away from her heading for the exit, he watched the desert waiting for night. But he saw a banner in the distance, something he didn't want to see. It would seem one of Pharoh's lieutenants had tracked him down. He ran back and grabbed Elissa by the hand.
"Well we're leaving early unless you want to be either killed or used by the particularly nasty bandits coming this way, we better run."

Lance walked quietly his red hair falling over his eyes as he walked along. He could sense Jareth, he had formed a brotherhood relationship with Jareth. He then ran to the front and poked Sieg's arm then explained with his hand motiones and facial expressions that Jareth was near.

Elissa had only looked to the side after he had said that and left. She had pressed herself against the wall and stood there, staring off to the side until he ran in and grabbed her hand. Her face was solemn and unchanging as she began to follow him, keeping up his pace, holding her staff close to her. Keeping up his pace and running a long distance would be no problem, she was in top shape. Stopping and reaching down, she tore her hand from his and grabbed the bottom of her dress. Grunting, she ripped off most of it and wrapped it around her staff tightly before she, suprisingly enough, grabbed his hand and began running again.

Adanna's blue eyes strayed side ways and caught a glance at Lance. She felt her face flush and cast her eyes to the other direction, still holding onto the side of the wagon. Who was this boy, and why did she feel different around him? Somehow... safe. She hated men. All men... Or, at least she thought she did...

Talon looked to her then back at the group of Bandits that were in the rear. He grabbed one of his glaives, known as the Right Claw, and unleashed a wave creating a glass wall.
"Im sorry I got you into this mess."
He continued to run ahead looking for a glimpse of his horse, Wind Fury it would be the only way they could get far enough away.

Lance returned and looked at her curiously. He wondered why Adanna looked so flustered. But he decided not to pry. He pulled a rose out of his coat pocket and moved it between his fingers quietly. His family was the Rosewater family, and as their name would suggest they had an affinity with roses.

Elissa looked up at him but said nothing, she just held onto her staff, the ripped cloth wrapped tightly around it. She kept her eyes straight forward after that, words would only use up her breath, and she had learned that when running from danger it was best to steer away from a conversation. Until finally, giggles broke through the silence.
"Well... You did say... that I was just a girl... out looking for adventure, right?"
Elissa kept laughing, but it was only to keep from crying. Though the laughter didn't slow her pace a single bit, she kept going at the same pace, strong as ever.

Adanna glanced over at him and smiled softly at the fact that he had a rose. Adanna was a sucker for roses, and cute boys holding roses. Her face becoming a bright pink, she turned her head downward slightly, though the trace of a smile still remained upon her lips, as her hand rested elegantly upon the hilt of her sword.

He saw his horse and humped onto its back he then pulled her into his arms and nudged the horse into a gallop. He then realized how this might have looked to an onlooker. Like something that belonged on a romance novel cover. When it all came into his mind he blushed softly.

Lance shyly handed the rose to her, he blushed softly, since he had never given one to a girl before. He looked around shyly with bright blue eyes, before looking down.

Elissa said nothing, she just continued laughing for a few more moments until she fell completely silent. Grabbing his shirt in her hands, she lay her face into his chest. Horse rides were never her thing, she was always a little shy around horses. Soon she had fallen asleep, still holding his shirt, her head laying on his shoulder, breath on his neck.

Adanna blinked and stopped walking momentarily before she reached out to take the rose. Although she had regained perfect composure, there was a pink tint on her cheeks and a gentle smile rest on her lips. Fingers brushing against his hand as she gently took the rose, she lifted it to her face before she weaved it perfectly into her hair.
"Thank you, Lance..."

Talon continued to ride into the desert with her in his arms, he had to get to the port city but the trip wouldnt be easy. He would have to ride all night to get there.
"Sleep well angel..."

Lance nodded softly with a charming smile on his face. He then continued to walk along with the wagon. Though a few jealous female soldiers glared darkly because of this exchange of niceties.

After a good resting up, Elissa slowly began to open her red eyes, rubbing them tiredly. Reaching up to stretch, her fingers brushed against his face and she quickly pulled her arms back down, gripping onto his shirt to keep her balance. She leaned her head against his chest, no need in being shy now that she had already slept on him. Besides, he wasn't all that uncomfortable.
"You know... I may remind you of her... but... I'm not her... I can't be her for you... Our looks may be alike, but..."
Elissa's voice was soft, almost a whisper for only him to hear before she just cut out. Shaking her head, she adjusted so that her head was against his shoulder.
"I'm sorry... nevermind that I even said anything..."

Adanna just looked to the jealous girls and remained silent. Once they had looked away, she looked down towards the ground and smiled softly, reaching a finger up to gently touch the rose, then ran her fingers along the weave to make sure it was still tight and secure. Giving off a little yawn, she shook it off. She was so far beyond tired, she had been awake for two days, but she wasn't going to say anything. Besides, she didn't look tired at all, but she knew that she was. Closing her eyes for a very short moment, she wondered when they would set up camp, or whatever they did. She was about to just pass out on the desert floor, and she didn't want anyone to have the burden of carrying her.

He smiled sadly, as the village came into view, he knew he could get some rest once there. So could WInd's Fury.
He was tired though it couldnt be seen the scars made it hard to see the dark circles under his eyes.

It was fortunate Sieg stopped the caravan because they had just found Jareth. This was also a blessing since everyone was tired, and they needed to set up camp. So the soldiers began to set up camp, Lance looked at her and proceeded to make hand gestures asking if she needed to sleep.

Elissa only fell more silent. Atone for his sin? What did that mean? Had he killed someone that looked like her, or did he blame himself for the other girl's death? She really had no clue, but she wouldn't pry. She would just let him do as he pleased, perhaps he wasn't such a bad bandit afterall.

Adanna smiled gently to Lance and nodded as she slowly shrank to her knees on the ground and yawned. Stretching out her arms, she reached down and felt the warm sand beneath her fingers. Standing back up, she dusted herself off and blushed when she looked to him. Why was he so cute, and why did she blush whenever she simply looked at him? Her heart began to pound within her chest and she reached up, gently undoing the weave to take the rose from her hair. She would be sleeping with it tonight, she could already tell. But... why did she have a wish that kept replaying in her mind -- a wish that she would somehow fall asleep close to him, or the even bigger wish of falling asleep in his arms. And why did she have an urge to touch his face. Breaking out into a deep blush at the thoughts, her heart pounded harder and faster. What in the world was she thinking such things for?

"Theres an Oasis we should stop the bandits are far enough behind because they wont chase after us alone."
He stopped his horse by the oasis, he then put the glaive he pulled out into its mount on his back, and dismounted holding her gently in his arms. He set her down under a tree, He looked at her calmly.
"You may want to rest a little bit, its half a day to the coast."

Lance quietly walked over to a spot where some of his stuff was placed, he slowly set up his tent, and looked over to Adanna and figured she would need a place to rest. He walked over to her and made motions with his hands that he wasnt really that tired, and that he would let her use his tent, and sleeping bag.

Elissa sighed and shook her head softly as she leaned back against the tree, holding her wrapped up staff close to her chest. Her arms loosely wrapped around the staff, she let out another soft sigh.
"I'm no longer tired, I rested well. I will try to fall asleep if you think that is really what I need."

Adanna blinked and blushed, holding the rose to her lips to hide a bright smile, though her eyes softened and brightened up, so even though her lips were hidden by the rose, her eyes displayed her joy, her cheeks displayed her embarassment. She gave a little nod and put a hand tenderly on his shoulder, moving the rose from her lips. Leaning forward, she placed a gentle kiss on his cheek before whispering a soft thank you into his ear. Ignoring the glares of a few jealous females, she walked towards his tent.
Stopping outside of the tent, she slipped off her shoes and quickly stepped inside, reaching out to pull her shoes inside the tent with her. Standing up, she looked around the tent and couldn't help but blush, her heart pounding harder and faster than ever. Walking towards the sleeping bag, she reached out a hand and gently ran her fingers along the tent wall. Although she was unable to determine why she did this, all she knew was that she felt safe, as if she were lying in his arms as she took in a deep breath, enhaling his scent. Such a sweet smell.
Kneeling down beside the sleeping bag, she got everything ready for her to sleep before she walked outside to the wagon. Grabbing her armor from the wagon, not trusting the jealous, glaring females, she headed back into the tent, set it down by her pillow, and zipped the tent shut. Sighing in a heavenly manner as she lay down ontop of the sleeping bag, her head falling on the soft pillow, she grinned in a rather cute way. Not like anyone could see her grinning, so it was okay to express her emotions now.

"The horse needs a break....and Im thirsty..."
Talon walked to the oasis and stripped off his armor, the chest plate and spaulders were quite heavy. He pulled the armor off of a few Xianqin warriors who decided to mess with him. He then removed his shirt and tended to some wounds.
"Ouch....guardian damn....he isn't called Wolf Saint for nothing..."
He cleaned a wound on his side quietly. He was careless and got cut near his hip by the man known as Jareth.

Lance quietly sat outside the tent, he wasn't truly tired, but then again he could sleep outside. He could hear quite well with out the hinderance of his voice. So if something approached he could hear it.

Elissa watched him for a few moments before she began to unwrap her staff. Walking over to him she knelt down and gently took his hands, moving them from the wound. If there was one thing she would do whether he told her to or not, it would be to help his wounds heal overnight. Holding her staff against her chest, holding onto his hand, she closed her eyes and began to whisper unaudable words before she reached out and gently touched his wound. Instead of her touch being painful, it was soothing. Looking up at him, she offered a small smile before she whispered something else in a different language, her own secret language, then gently brought his knuckles to her lips.
Standing up, she scooped water into her hand and drank some before she turned to walk back towards the tree, one arm at her side, the other holding the staff to her chest.

Adanna slept silently, though she woke in the middle of the night with a parched throat. Sitting up silently in the bed she stood and grabbed her water skin, which turned out empty. That was okay, she had a spare in the wagon. Rubbing her eyes tiredly, hair a mess, she stepped silently outside the tent, though the zipper was a slight racket. Slipping out into the moonlight she smiled brightly and looked up towards the sky, running her hands through her hair as she held her head back, taking in the pale light that bathed her. Stretching and curling her toes into the warm sand, she walked towards the wagon and leaned over the edge, quietly rummaging around until she found her spare water skin. Taking a drink, she took a few steps backwards and spread her arms out, looking up towards the moon.
Reaching down towards one of the many buckles that were built into her pants, to keep them tight, she pulled the rose out and lifted it to her face, gently kissing one of the petals. Lance... what he did to her with just a simple look was a mystery, but a pleasant one.
