He would stop at the edge of the water. Nearing the boat. I can't take that thing... not yet. He would hear the guards nearing. He pulled out his trusty dagger. Setting his back pack on the boat. He would slowly dip into the water. Digging his dagger into a slate in the stone he would keep his head just above the surface. Wading under the wooden port. Hoping they wouldn't take his things...

The guards ran out to the area, their weapons drawn a some held torches to examine the area. One started heading to the small port to where they brought the inmates, walking dangerously close to Frederick's hiding spot. He waved his torch over the water trying to make sense of its murkiness. It was pitch black outside, which made it difficult to spot his boat... "This way! He must have gone this direction" yelled one of the guards, running down the side of the prison to check the back area with the rest. Not wanting to be left behind by his comrades, the jumpy guard ran to join them. A close call, but he'd return later to inspect that area more closely...

Frederick would wait a few moments before pulling out his dagger. Climbing into the boat to get his things. Then climb back onto the port. He would then pull his things up onto the dock and shove the boat away into the river. Looking around he would sneak into an alley near the jail. Crouching behind the corner he would watch to see if more of his 'friends' would arrive. If they did, he would have to confront them again.

Hidden in that same alley as him was a small girl, no older than six. She sat huddled next to a younger boy with sandy hair and a dirty face, a four year old. The girl squaked and backed away from Frederick, the little boy squeezed her arm tightly in fear. Why they were here, was a mystery. Another squad of guards would pass by the alleyway, they were preparing to ring the sirens.

He looked at the kids. Through his helmet would only gleam blue eyes. "Thanks kids. You've done me a huge favor." He would reach into his pocket and flick them a few gold coins. "I owe you one." He would look up the dead end alley. Eying the small 10 foot building. He would draw up his dagger and Hatchet. He would jump at the stone wall. Piercing it with the dagger. Lifting himself up. He would jam the axe in the wall fiercely. Pulling himself up again. Continuing this process until he was on the roof top. He would start to hide on another nearby bell tower. Hiding under on some rafters sticking out of the building. Looking down onto the jail and watching it's activities. With so many crimes in the immediate area... they'll have to stop any visits for prisoners. He checked his weapons and saw that they we're clean. That would make him less suspicious.

The children took the coins carefully, confused since they haven't done anything. The sirens began to ring now, a loud clear chiming of bells. The small children watched Frederick climb the wall, then climb another small building to reach the belltower. The small girl would reach in the pocket of her skirt, taking out a small round ball. She tapped it once, causing it to float slightly as she activated it. The little girl took a step back, looking at the belltower high in the distance. Her eyes were dead, dull, lifeless. A sign of manipulation. She cocked her arm back and flung the ball as hard as she could, sending it sailing overhead. Her strength was to frail to reach its target however. It landed at the base of the belltower, blasting it completely along with parts of the roof of the prison. The belltower would shake, then slowly start tipping. The little girl would then observe, the little boy still holding onto her, his eyes darting around nervously.

His eyes widened as he almost fell off his perch. Shaking viciously he watched the building fall down towards him. "By Xerxes name!" He shouted as he jumped up swiftly. Grabbing onto the rail. He through himself up onto the tower. It shook violently as he almost lost his footing. "Damn it!" He growled as he jumped down into the tower... He missed the stairs completely... He thought he was finished. Though the building tilted and the wall slowly turned into a rough slide. "Must be my lucky day..." He boasted to himself as he would slide on his leg. watching the building ripping out of the ground. Though apart from the foundation. "Great! I can just run out of her like a dream..." He heard crashing behind him as the building shook again. It was hitting another building! The walls burst inward and the rocks flew down behind him. His eyes widened as he saw the rocks flying past him. He also noticed he was slowing down. He would then roll, climbing up to his feet as he sprinted out of the building The building crashing behind him as he ran out into the court yard. I can't stay here! I have to escape! He looked around. Seeing sewer grate... though this one would actually be filthy and disgusting. "Looks like I have no choice." He ran over to it. Taking out his dagger and hammer. He would hammer the dagger into the side with a single strike. Prying it up he would easily get down into the sewer and make his way back to the false camp he made... as it turned out. It would have to be a real camp for the night.

There was mass chaos as the building crumbled onto the others in a domino effect. The guards were detered from their search as their attention switched to the damaged buildings, injured guards, and inmates that managed to eascape due to that an entire wall on one of the buildings was torn down. The inmates ran in a frenzy, diving into the water for a quick escape. The guards chased them, a torch fell and lit the yard, it was utter chaos. The two children slipped away in the midst of it all, unseen like a shadow. Rowan sat in her cell, confused as she heard all the chaos outside and the squads of guard running down the halls for backup. Rowan sighed and went back to sleep....
Everything was still going bad by the morning, though the guards managed to somehow quell the resisting inmates with magic. They shoved everyone in one small building until repairs happened. There were double the guards the next day. Due to having to tend to all the damaged people, file reports, and hunt down the one that started it all, the leader of the guards simply didn' have the time to question Rowan as he said so he let her go. That was close... Rowan gladly left the prison, Running Towards the bridge at the colloseum to begin her search for Frederick, again. Meanwhile the magician was sound asleep in some bushes.

Frederick would take the sewer back into the Colosseum. After bathing in the river obviously. He would head to the bridge with his cloak on. With the cloak on he somewhat looked like a demon. He walked around the whole place looking for her. Though once he did find her. He was somewhat stunned... How do I explain last nights events? he wondered as he just stared in her direction... thinking...

Rowan looked around, finding no trace of him. Though she had a feeling he had to be here... After half and hour of searching Rowan sighed and decided to take a small break. She sat tiredly on a bench by the bridge. She didn't get much sleep last night due to all the racket. Rowan hugged her staff and looked at the people passing the bridge from the marketplace.

Frederick would watch her give up the search. He sighed. Taking a seat beside her. "So did you hear about the fighting from last night?" He asked. Keeping his hood up so that she wouldn't guess him right away.

Rowan noticed a hooded stranger suddenly sit beside her. It must have been the talk of the day. She looked at him, but nodded. "Yes, I've heard rumors about it." she said, not wanting to say she was there. "There was supposed to be a lot of damage, broken buildings and everything, they say half of the inmates managed to escape." she said, looking back at the passing people. She shook her head. "That's terrible, right when Arun was so peacefull... rumors say it was planned all along, a group of inmates trying to escape." she said.

He finally glanced over to her. "I'm just glad your ok." He said showing his bright blue eyes by looking directly at her now. "I don't know about the explosions... but I stopped my 'friends' from visiting you last night. They told me they are after what is in the mountain. Their capturing innocence and sending them inside to wear down the traps so that they can go in unhindered."

Rowan was a bit surprised to see the stranger was Frederick. She relaxed, though her head was swimming with questions. "You were at the prison?" she asked. "I was... going to be taken?" she got the chills after what he said, shaking her head. It fit the piece of the puzzle. "That's horrible! Inhumane... we need to tell the authorities that is unacceptable!" she said, ready to stand.

Frederick looked back forward. "We can't. They are part of the authorities..." He informed her. He would look down to the ground. "It would be unacceptable for even a Ring Master to compete against them. We have to have evidence of their actions. Which we don't. So far I've committed multiple offenses. The only way to do so is to catch them in the act with a third party member. So we have to follow them and catch them doing so. With our magician friend of course." He said as he looked to her. "This is going to be tough, and it is going to tear your city asunder if we do or don't do this."
