 Oh lord ugh so far this book is amazing. I'm in love with it. It's White Oleander. It's about a girl who grows up going to different foster homes and having all of these experiences. It's actually extremely unique and gripping, and the writing style of the author is different and admirable.
Next I'm going to read The Soloist. 3nodding

Oh the HORROR!!! It's just unimaginable, horrendous, torture. All these agonizingly pleasant family members milling about my living quarters! Someone, please, have mercy! Just put me out of my misery and let it be over... You mean, like that?
Honestly, I love the holidays! emotion_kirakira It's one of the few times I have the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family. We're all, generally, too preoccupied to slow down and appreciate one another's company throughout the year. It also helps that I don't have any distant family that takes refuge at my house. We keep the family gathering to a minimum. Just my brother, nephew, dad, my fiancé, and myself. No "Aunt Sally's, second cousin's, ex-girlfriend's, dog sitter's, best friend from Australia" cramping our style.
I did survive Black Friday as a retail sales associate... That part of my holiday truly was torture! xp
How have you been faring this holiday season?

I have faring... quite well actually for this time of year. Usually I tend to stay away from all the hype of the holidays,
but seeing as how this is my senior year in high school, I've been more opt to do things that normally would make me shudder.
Although of course I could only imagine the nightmares and monstrosities you faced during the dreaded Black Friday...
