Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Taking out his note book he opened it to a blank page and began to draw a basic rune circle, he inscribed 5 inter-crossing runes of sound and mana. He completed the circle and tore off the page, He gave it to the angel and smiled slightly. "Use this to summon me when you have free time, this circle will let me know where you are and that you are ready to start the mission. I want to do a rank B mission to seal a corrupt spirit in some old ruins outside the city. How good at combat are you and what experience at fighting ghosts?" he asked the boy in a more serious tone. He stood up straight and waited for a reply knowing the boy would be strong enough. ≼============ ☠ ============≽

 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ≻ Matthew was doing some paperwork, all the while, listening to the students talk. So far so good, He thought. The 4 seemed o be getting along, which was good. He looked at Nixon and Takuya over the rim of his glasses. "A mission like that isn't a B mission at all, more like an A mission," He said to the two boys as he looked back down. "Besides, I haven't taught you any sealing spells yet." He lifted his head and looked at the students. "Oh, by the way, this assignment will be due next week." Kuro watched him as he took out his phone and did something on it. When he asked her about her phone number, she let out an awkward chuckle. "I-I don't have one..." She replied, a little embarrassed to admit it. Everyone these days had a smartphone or something, but Kuro didn't have one at all. She didn't find any need in it, and besides, the one she wanted costs way too much. She would much rather save her money for things she actually needs. Kuro looked at Raiden's sleek, shiny phone. It would be nice to have one though... She gave him a shy smile. "Yeah... sorry.. I just don't find any use in one....." She added. What she didn't add was that her savings were low. She needed to do some mission and get on that A mission list. She turned to look at Mr. Pierce when he spoke. She didn't know what he was talking about at first, but when he said when their assignment was due, her eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Geez, that's a little too soon, isn't it?" She muttered loud enough so Raiden could hear. Kuro turned her attention back to the blonde.

Takuya looked at the piece of paper Nixon gave him and blinked, then nodded. He turned to the teacher as he spoke, then back at Nixon. "Well..." He began, "I have some experience in hand to hand combat, not a lot, but I hope it'll suffice. And... I know white magic, and ice magic..." He said. "I can also fly," He smiled at Nixon. "Sorry if I might hold you back... I came to this academy to try to learn some things and harness my newly found ice powers..."

Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Looking back at the teacher he had to explain why he had this idea, true he could not seal properly yet but he did not need to seal the "ghost". "Sir the objective is not to seal the spirit but to slay it, if you think we can not do this then I will not continue with the notion," he said towards Mr pierce. He was a necromancer so his magic could deal damage but his partner could do the most damage as he is a white magic user himself. "Takuya i have a rank d mission of maintenance on the city walls if you prefer that? It would be easy for us," looking back at his newly found partner. He knew Mr Pierce would say no to the first suggestion but he had to try anyway. ≼============ ☠ ============≽

"Well, I'm sure we'll figure it out," He replied as he stuck his phone back into his pocket. With that, he stood from his seat and ran a hand through his blonde hair. "I'll go to the mission board and sign us up for that mission," He said. "I'll see you later then," He waved his hand at her and stuck his hands into his pockets. Kuro nodded, a small smile on her face. as Raiden said that they'll figure it out somehow. Her smile then turned into a confused frown as he stood up. She turned to watch him head for the door. "W-Wait! Aren't we like, supposed to get to know each other or something?" She called after him. She wondered why the blonde was in such a hurry to get out the class. The two were going to be partners for a while, and like Mr. Pierce said, it would be best if they got to know each other. She didn't want her partner to be a complete mystery to her. It wouldn't be fun, and it probably wouldn't get them good grades in the class either.

He didn't reply to her question, instead, he left the room altogether. He already knew some things about her, and he didn't want to know anymore. However, she knew little about him, and Raiden wanted to keep it that way. There wasn't anything important about him that she needed to know. Maybe some of his skills and abilities, but that was for later. Raiden ran a hand through his hair as he continued walking. "But whether that mission is accessible is not up to me," He said. He turned his head towards the door when he saw Raiden exit the room. He closed his eyes and sighed. That boy will need some work. He looked at Kuro and gave her a smile. "I wouldn't take it personally Kuro, he is always like that. Looks like you two would may need more team work..." He said, looking back down at his work. Kuro looked at Raiden, baffled as he left without saying another word. She sat down where he previously sat with a huff, crossing her arms over her chest. This guy is so rude! She couldn't help thinking. She turned to Mr. Pierce as he spoke to her. She sighed at his words. "He's always like that, huh?" She mumbled, a frown on her face. "More team work?..." She muttered, repeating the teacher's words. Does he mean they have to work more as a team or does he mean that the two were going to get more work? She sighed again, pressing her palms to her face. She was going to have to somehow make this partnership work. Kuro stood up from the desk and bowed to Mr. Pierce. "Excuse me, Mr. Pierce, I think I will be taking my leave now, since my partner has left," She said. She glanced at the clock on the wall. Classes were almost over as well. Kuro began walking to the door and then stopped. She turned around and looked at Takuya and Nixon. "I'll see you later guys," She said to the pair, lifting her hand up to wave at them. She gave them a bright smile before turning on her heel and heading out the door, navigating through the hallways, and heading out the front door. She needed to do some grocery shopping for her dorm...

Takuya looked at Nixon. "Whatever is fine with me!" He smiled happlily. He looked at Kuro and Raiden and watched as the blonde left the room, leaving Kuro by herself. He turned his head back to Nixon as Kuro left as well. He was glad that this partnership was working out so far.

He looked back down and wrote a few things down in his notepad. He would have to give them a few trust exercises and maybe even assign them something else to do together. Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Looking up to the teacher Nixon nodded in acknoledgment to the statment. If thats the case we should go to the mission board to check if the mission is still posted. I saw it a few days ago so either no one wants it and we can take it or someone already have taken it." he said to Takuya. He walked up to his desk to collect his notebook and walked back to the angel. He wondered what other powers his new friend might be able to learn and master and how well they would work with his own Necro magic. "I think I will go do some training after school out of the school grounds if you want to tag along?" he asked the boy hoping he would say yes. "It might help strengthen our teamwork so we know how eachother fights and moves so we can conpensate eachothers weaknesses," talking in a serious tone. This whole day had seemed alot for Nixon to take in. A few friends he could talk to if he needed, an enemy he already despised and someone he could use his powers to protect. ≼============ ☠ ============≽

Takuya glanced at the clock at the mention of the bell. He then looked back at Nixon and nodded. "Sure!" He replied, smiling and nodding his head. He wanted to see Nixon's abilities and maybe he could even give him some advice of his own. "Sounds like a good idea," He said.

Nixon Jackerjack ≼=========== ☠ ============≽ Smiling so wide he might as well have been a Cheshire cat he pulled his hood up and walked over to the door. He also needed that new jacket brother Morton sent him from the temple. He was to receive several books which contained knowledge on becoming an A class necromancer which he wanted to become for so long. Plus he needed that jacket and the black diamond ring from the shadow forge. The ring he did not need yet and he would probably die if he used it now, that's why he came to the school. He wanted to become a shadow cleric. ≼============ ☠ ============≽
