The second thing he would see would be Franziska, hysterical and in handcuffs. She looks like she's about to lose it if she hasn't already. "Why would I kill anyone!? This is an outrage...! -- Phoenix Wright...?" She has far too much pride to ask him to defend her despite her situation. "Let's go, Ms. Von Karma, sir. I can't believe this happened...."

Phoenix Wright had no idea what was happening, but he knew one thing was for certain. Franziska was innocent. "Don't worry Franziska. I will see you at the detention center." Phoenix shouted. "Was that Ms. von Karma getting put in the police car?" Maya asked. "Yes it was, and we are going to go see her at the detention center and get to the bottom of this." Phoenix Wright answered back. "But what makes you so sure she is innocent?" Maya replied. "I was with her for most of the day. There is no way that she would kill someone after hang around with me. Now let's go." Phoenix answered as he and Maya go back into his car and drove to the detention center.

"I want the place swept thoroughly, men, and for everything to be done by the book!", the chief yelled heartily, amidst all the hustle and bustle of the investigation. "Bag and tag everything that's relevant!"
He'd returned to the scene after a message was relayed to him through Dispatch. Given the location of the crime and the potential leaking of confidential case information, it seemed only prudent that he oversaw the handling of the situation.
Every drawer was opened, every file perused, every shred of evidence cataloged. He gave his officers a nod as they attended to their duties, then turned his attention to the window, where a concerned young prosecutor was being guided into the back seat of a squad car. And oddly enough, despite losing one of the fiercest combatants in court the force possessed...he didn't seem concerned in the slightest.

Franziska looked up into the window to see those intense green eyes looking right back. She near immediately noticed how unusually calm he was, but kept eye contact for a bit longer, her eyes gaining a steely glare, before looking a bit behind the man to notice something caught on her chair... "I think I forgot my cellphone in my office as well. I request that I am able to go get it so I can find an attorney."

"Sir!", exclaimed a patrolman, saluting the chief unwaveringly. "Prosecutor von Karma is requesting her cell phone so that she can talk to an attorney. It's already been bagged as evidence, though. What should we do?"
Gant turned to the officer with a pleasant smile. "Well, it's certainly within her legal rights to do so! Give it to her at once, my boy!", he replied happily. "If that's all, we have an investigation to continue."
The patrolman nodded, saluted again, and rushed outside to the awaiting patrol car, handing off the cell phone to Franziska through the back window.

Dan frowned. He wasn't sure just what exactly what he saw, except maybe a murder? Ugh. Great way to start a day, he grumbled as he headed down the stairs of the prosecutor's building, passing by the large man at the window and hoping to god he wouldn't notice him. His eyes were CREEPY. "Uh yeah... I think I'll just come back later for that stupid paper...-- DAMNIT, CHRIS! YOU DROVE OFF WITHOUT ME AGAIN." The short angry man was hard to miss.

The coffee-loving prosecutor sat within his office of the Prosecutor building, completing paperwork that needed to be done. While it had been a while since he had a proper case, he couldn't complain. The less need for prosecutors in the world meant that maybe it was improving just a little. That was until his cellphone rang, the iconic tune filling the silence in his office. He answered, quickly gaining wind of the situation. That wild mare...being accused of something like this? Godot would get up from his chair, opening his hand as a coffee cup flew into it literally out of nowhere. As he took a sip, he stepped out, intent on finding more things out personally. This just might be the case...

Franziska took her cellphone and stared at it blankly, unsure of who exactly she wanted to call. Should I just represent myself? Should I... ask Phoenix Wright for help...? What do I do? She frowned, turning the phone over in her hands. This is a waking nightmare. What do I do...?

Larry calls Phoenix's cellphone. "Nick! What is up with this? I was going to visit my beautiful Whip-lashin' Franzy-babe and I hear that she got arrested? You have to save her Nick! Or else i'll steal all those pink-colored ties out of your wardrobe! She's totally innocent i'm sure of it!"

Phoenix rubs and answers back, "I know she is innocent Larry. And what do you mean by babe? Nevermind. I do plan on defending her." Phoenix then quickly hung up his cell before his friends could ruin his hearing even more. "Was that Larry yelling at you?" Maya asked with a smirk."Yeah, so it appears he found out about Ms. von Karma being arrested." Phoenix answered back. "So, what are going to do now?" Maya asked."Well that part is obvious. We now head to the detention center to speak with Ms. von Karma." Phoenix replied. With that Phoenix and Maya headed to the detention center to help Franziska with her case.
