Reaver10 Lol seems like a reason to like them, because building units just to counteract the opponents units gets old after a few. I want to get into civilization games because you really have focus on..well everything else. Not just possibly fighting with other nations but focusing on building up your empire. The Civ games are ok. I know some people really dig 'em but it's a bit too slow paced at times. Plus theres a couple of odd times when you're modernized with tanks and heli's and the comp defeats your place with some 19th century spearmen. razz

Honestly i enjoy all games except sport and racing games. Except for Burnout. Love that game. XD But i prefer to start in the beginning time period if that is an option mainly because i love the build-up.

I can admire a good game, but if certain things drag on >.> And we're right on par with games so far. :3 I also love Burnout! Mainly, I miss Burnout Revenge as I think that one was the best of them all. Burnout Paradise had so much potential and kind of lacks some of the awesome fun factor Revenge had. :] I will say, even though the game can be pretty bs, I enjoy Blitz: The League II with friends. Probably the only "sport game" I really enjoy.

Left 4 Dead is annoying sometimes with the A.I but when you got friends to replace them, it is much funner and more intense. Especially if you have a Troll friend. Which most people do. razz

Reaver10 Left 4 Dead is annoying sometimes with the A.I In #2, One the characters went down and I didn't spot any monsters so I went to revive. Going pretty well until a Smoker catches me, as I wait for my other 2 ai teammates to save me, I realize they are just chatting away, around the corner. . . as I asphyxiate to my demise. . .

Aw, man, this isn't an easy question... Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, the Ace Attorney series, Okami (and Okamiden), and Mother 3 will always be close to my heart, but there's also Super Paper Mario. That game never fails to impress me.
There's Pokemon, too, though I got a pretty late start to it compared to most (my first game was Blue Mystery Dungeon, and then Pearl from the main series). Oh, and I shouldn't forget to mention Skyrim. Great piece of work, that is. uvu

This might seem like a strange one, but my absolute favorite video game is probably Chrono Cross. Even after the hundreds upon hundreds of hours I've ground into playing Pokemon over the years and periodic assimilation into the world of .hack//, Chrono Cross is really the only game that's really stuck with me beyond just playing the game. And it's not just because I love the music.
The plot screws with my head in just the right way to keep me interested in trying to unravel all the intertwining complexity of the game's narrative. And yes, I have played Chrono Trigger. That only made my obsession worse. I like that it's just as fun to speculate about as it is to actually play the game. I'm also really happy with how it made the transition onto the PSP so now I can play it again on the go.

The first game I played, I said "What can Canada do to get ready for WW2?....you know what? ******** it. Let's make the most stereotypical Canadian army ever. So I built up 17 army divisions of RCMP officers on horseback, and 6 squadrons of outdated multi-role fighters for artillery and air cover. In this way, I made a cheaper and more effective blitzkrieg than Germany did, because German blitzkriegs need to stop every so often so that the infantry can keep up with the tanks. Canadian blitzkriegs? All the Mounties are on horseback! The rape train has no brakes!
