Instead of editing a TON of stuff (I mean seriously it would be so much easier not to edit YGO), language, card faces, What bakuras cards SPELT, duel monster outfits, anything with Japanese on it, blood, entire scenes and random weapons/objects. I can see them dubbing Pok'emon and shows like that, but just not shows that are narturally meant to have violence in them. sad I always wondered how much time and money went into them just editing all that stuff. I mean they even have to edit graphics for cards. I'm not disagreeing that editting some of that stuff is stupid, like editting out Japanese characters. gonk And Yuugi's mom... seriously, wtf? They probably didn't see what would it be like in later episodes, though. They probably only really watched Duelist Kingdom, which wasn't too bad. I don't know if they'd bother watching the other seasons, or if they even watch any episodes. But I bet the money they made (and are still making, thanks to GX) is more than enough to pay for any edits they had to make. And let's face it, who would think that a child's card game would be that violent or creepy? xD I'm not saying it was an innocent mistake, since we all know what it's really about: Money. They saw what was potentially a second Pokemon and grabbed it before anyone else could/wanted to. Yeah, I know what you mean. XD yes, violent card games... =fun? The blood and super angst! All censored! CURSE YOU 4SHAME!

At least they didn't do anything to Kaiba's name! OOOOOOOOOOOH, if 4Kids did, I would've torn them limb from limb. Do you wonder what would happen if Kaiba was renamed to someone named Bob? gonk I would've cringed in horror.
The original sounds so AWESOME. I wish to see the original. It would make my world go round.
I've looked into the subject greatly and scenes such as the one where Bakura and Malik meet in the alley to discuss their plots sounded so interesting! I especially wanted to see the scene where Bakura took Pegasus's millennium eye.
Another scene that was apparently cut out was the scene where Pegasus had just received the millennium eye from Shadi. They took out all the blood. I'm pretty sure the picture I saw of it was enough indication that something was wrong when it was dubbed. Something horrible and un-likable.
Not to mention I love to see blood. I'm attracted to season 0. I thought Kaiba was nicer in it, but he was still kinda rude by the end of the episode. There's so many versions of him... Anyway, to be more precise about 4Kids, I have seen two pictures of the Doma arc. One picture was Harpy Lady looking like a complete and total slut (Pardon my language, if you will) and another where she looked like she was just wearing armor. I personally like how 4Kids edited Harpy Lady, because I'm not too fond of sluts. gonk
I haven't been able to find the Yu-Gi-Oh subs, which really makes me sad, but I at least know how to find out my information. YAY for spoilers! I saw an AMV of Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh and fell in love with it. Not 'in love' with it as in marriage or boyfriend or girlfriend, but just the simple interest of wanting it.
I can find Yu-Gi-Oh GX, but not Yu-Gi-Oh...anyway, moving from that discussion, I don't like 4Kids too much, but some of my favorite quotes are from the dub. Yu-Gi-Oh GX included. Capsule Monsters is just ewww so I don't ever think about getting favorite quotes from that. It's so CHEESY and doesn't have Kaiba-sama, Mai, or anyone! The only female character that I've seen in it is Anzu and she bugs the hell outta me. <----Capsule Monsters doesn't exist and was made by 4Kids, thus it sucks, thus it's in English, thus it's also badly written.
D:<...Yea...I've been cursed to only watch the dub. There's some subbed Yu-Gi-Oh on youtube, but I'm watching the ENTIRE series over JUST to be more entertained and more pleased with the way things really are. ;0; Poor, poor me. Anyway, I'll be leaving now. If anything, I watch the dub because the dub is better than nothing. D:<

I rarely watch Dubs any more. If I can't find it Subbed, then I'll watch the Dub, but otherwise I stay pretty clear from it.
Except when Canada gets its hands on anime and dubs it! Most anime is completly uncut when us Canadians dub it. And yes, kinda off topic, but Gundam Seed in Canada was AWESOME! I was reading about the stuff the US edited out, and I was like, "I remember seeing that! That part was wicked!"

I'm alright with watching the dub of stuff. I know people hate the Naruto dub, but I'm alright with it. Oh! And I cheered when they had the original opening for it, with the Japanese lyrics, and English subs on the bottom. gonk I was like "Dudes... I wanna hug you for this..." it's a step in the right direction for at least one dubbing company!
Heh, and as for GX, 4Kids is going to have a handful when it comes to one of the villains in season 3. lol Half male, half female, and loves Juudai. I think I might actually have to watch season 3. xD Cracktastic.

That's one of the things I hate about the US. We're so paranoid...It isn't as if we don't have vile things on TV as it is. D:< OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH...I wonder what they're going to do. They'll probably make it a full female, because they don't like gay things. D:<...;-; Curse you 4Kids! I have to see that with my sister. I bet she'll cringe when she sees it. Regardless, I'm disgusted already. Half female, half male...hmmmm...I wonder what that'll be like confused
