"Loneliness?" Kamion asked, smiling slightly. "Perhaps a conversation would be what you need. I won't deny that I am most likely not the best at such, but my company is yours for as long as you would like it."
Kamion could feel something stirring inside him. What was this feeling? Something about this girl made him think that theye were more important things than his duty to the herd.

Veldrin noticed Le'Beau's hands shaking. He really was quite sweet.
"I'm Veldrin," she told him. "Pleased to meet you." She signalled tot he bartender, and soon a drink was in front of the nervous male. If that didn't calm him, nothing would.

Needless to say she was alittle taken back by his offer. Lainey looked at him closer, tilting her head to the side to make sure he was not just toying with her."I suppose but then if I wished to have a conversation I would go to the others at my home." She sighed again as her tail swished back an forth. "No, there's just something I'm missing and I have no clue what it is. Even when I am with my friends I am lonely, but then perhaps your compnay would be good for me." Lainey smiled softly as she gently brushed a stray piece of Kaimon's hair from his face."I'm Lainey." She whispered as she layed her hand back on the tops of her forelegs.

Le'beau gave Veldrin a small smile and took the drink in his shaking hands. He didn't know why he was like this....he just was. So he rather quickly downed the drink , taking a deep breath to calm himself. After a few moments his hands stopped shaking and he felt...talkitive, which was odd. "It is very nice to meet you aswell. So why are you here?"

"I am Kamion," he said, standing and bowing to Lainey before seating himself again and arranging his tail comfortably. "I too have some experience with loneliness - I am not often sought out for things with my own herd. They consider me far too serious," he admitted, wondering why he was doing so. "So tell me, Lainey, about yourself, and maybe together we can work out what it is that is missing from you."
Together. That word echoed through Kamion's head. Could it be that he had finally found someone whom he could realte to? Someone who would understand him? Someone who was not one of the giddy, brainless pieces of fluff that he was used to?

"I am meant to be on holiday," Veldrin said, her mough quirking into a sardonic little grin. "I have been accused of fomenting trouble among my family and peers - staid old stick-in-the-muds that they are. So I have been sent here to get it all out of my system. Though how on earth a girl is supposed to get rid of a desire for adventure is beyond me! What about you? What brings you to this place?"

Lainey thought for a moment about things that she did or knew." I like to practice with magic, my staff helps me with most of the harder things. This is my favorite place to be of anywhere around this place." She looked over the silvery pond and the willows gently swaying. "This is the only place where I can find peace and actually think." Shaking her head, Lainey looked back at Kaimon and laughed."You probably think I'm silly or something, but sometimes I prefer being out here then I do with my makeshift family. I just wish that i would have be alone out here all the time. I would ask my family but they would just find some way of messing all this up, do you know what i mean?"

Le'Beau blinked for a moment before smiling."I actually live here if you can believe that." He reached over anf grabbed another drink, sipping it before taking a long gulp. "Well you friends and family don't sound very nice. Adventure is a wonderful thing, see if I didn't have my horse I would be stuck here all the time." He nodded as he began to feel his shyness slipping away.

"Ah, magic," Kamion sighed. "No matter how much a read about it, the practice of arts arcane eludes me. I tend to comfort myself with all things military. And I hate to boast, but..." he blushes, trying to hide the fact that he has "... I am one of my herd's pre-eminent warriors."
Kamion shifts a little, as if uncomfortable. "I too like being alone - nothing pleases me more than time immersed in a book. My sister teases me relentlessly for this." He smiles, the thought of his irrepressible sister cheering him, and the expression transforms his sombre face. "I would never think of you as silly. You seem to me a most wonderfully self-assured woman, mature far beyond your apparent few years."
The compliment, though rather trite, slips from him lips before Kamion can stop it, and again he blushes.

Veldrin smiles. "You live here? How fantastic! You must be proud to live in such a beautiful place. I can't believe you speak of being stuck here!" The drow refuses to admit that she is frightened of horses, and steers the conversation away from it. "It's not that my family is horrid or anything - just that they cannot understand how I turned out so different from the rest of them!"
Sipping her drink, she brushes her hair away from her face.
"Tell me more about yourself. What do you do for fun around here?"

Listening to him talk about himself then watching him blush made her laugh, for some reason she was feeling much better just being around Kaimon. She noticed him shifting uncomfortable and tilted her head a bit. "Am I making you uncomfortable Kaimon?" She asked, blinking concernly.
Though when he commented her, Lainey looked at him with wide eyes as a deep red blush went across the top of her nose and she looked down, smiling alittle bit. "Thank you,and well if I may say aswell, you are much more mature and enjotable to be around then any of the other men I have met.' she sad softly looking down at her hands.

He looked around for a moment before turning back to Veldrin."Well we go swimming at the beach, hiking in the woods, and just relax in the hot tubs. We do other things but I can't remember alot of it." The drow male laughed and scratched him head."About myself, umm I like to go horseback riding, I'm rather shy around girls except for now which is odd. Anyway I'm bascially an open book, so what are you like?"

Kamion shook his head. "No, it is not you that makes me uncomfortable. Just the fact that I am not used to being around people who find my company enjoyable. It is a new feeling for me."
He smiles at Lainey, pleased that he hasn't seemed to bore her.
"In fact, the only one who actively seeks me out is Oenone, my half-sister. That is, when she isn't gallivanting off by herself, which is an endless cource of worry for me." He shakes his head ruefully. "Ah, Lainey. What is it about the very young that tries my patience so? I love her dearly, but she really can drive me to distraction!"

Laughing, Veldrin shakes her head. "Hot tubs sound like my kind of thing! But as with you, what you see is pretty much what you get." She removes her hat, and fans herself with it. "I love anything that smacks of indulgence and adventure. I cannot bear to entertain the thought of being in one place for too long - though I will make an exeption for our conversation. You are indeed pleasant company! I enjoy rock climbing, spelunking, sky diving and many other so called extreme sports. Then too, I am quite happy in the middle of a boutique with a wad of cash to spend, as I must admit that most girls do!"

Lainey smiled as he spoke about his sister."She sounds like a handful, I would perhaps like to meet her someday." She said looking down at her hands once again.
She had suddenly felt shy around Kaimon and also felt her face blushing lightly. Looking over at Kaimon, she began to felt her heart beat alittle faster as she watched him. Was it him who was causing her to feel like this, she doubted it. Sighing again, Lainey slowly leaned her head on his shoulder. "I'm not feeling so lonely anymore."

Le'beau smirked, of course she liked to shop she was a girl after all, he thought as he drank something again."Well then how about after this little drinking spree, we either hit the beach or the hot tub." He said smiling a bit.

Kamion startled slightly as Lainey leaned against him, then tentatively draped an arm around her shoulders.
"I am most pleased that I have made you feel happier," he told her. "I find your company to be delightful." He chuckles suddenly. "But I think that when you meet my sister, it will not be in this place. Tranquility and Oenone are like oil and water!"
Looking down at Lainey's blushing face, Kamion smiles to himself, and murmurs "Why, your cheeks look like rose petals!" He then blushes himself, hoping that she hadn't heard him being so soppy.

"Sounds like a plan," Veldrin laughs. "Shy around girls? You? With a comment like that, I find that hard to believe." She down her drink, then grabs his hand. "Bartender, another round to the hot tub," she orders, and drags Le'Beau off.

Looking down at a sleepily content Erae, he picked her up in his arms. "I do wonder where you live...these woods are usually empty with people." He wanted to keep her close, and the best way to do that was to take her back to his family's manor. But...well, screw Raina! Erae's comfort was more important than his prissy aunt.
Turning on his hind legs, he started galloping back towards home, his arms holding the young gypsy in his arms away from any harm, her body close to his chest.

Erae stirred slightly in Denth's arms but had yet to wake up. All she did at the moment was yawn and cuddled closer to the warm chest she was being held too. "Denth." she whispered softly in her sleep, smiling a bit as she yawned and continued to dream.

Bambi sat on the sandy beach looking out over the water as the waves lapped at her feet. It had been so long since she had seen Vlad and she was missing him so much. "I wonder if he has forgotton about me." She muttered sadly to herself and sighed.

Vlad walked along the beach, his eyes were looking fowards but he wasn't seeing much. All of his mind was thinking about Bambi, the days since he had last seen her were too many to count.
"What if something has happened to her?" He whispered under his breath. He quickly chased the thought away, how would he live if something had happened?

bambi turned her head slightly, catching a glimsp of someone walking down the beach. At first she thought nothing of it, but when a pair of wings came in view, she took a closer look. It was Vlad, he had finally come back to her.
"VLAD!!! You came back." She yelled as she stood up and ran towards him, nearly knocking them both down as she hugged him.
