Azalea blinked when she placed her hand on Lea's shoulder, squeezing it a tiny bit. Quietly, she looked up back up at her friend and smiled softly when Terra began to speak highly of her. Somehow, Lea could tell that the look that the two had shared was an unspoken conversation of quizzical fear from Lea and reassurance Terra. Lea looked back at Red and bowed her head. "You're a friend of that Renton guy, then. Never met him, but I've heard he's nice." Lea said with her normal smile, standing quietly. The girl was rather short, even compared to the two. Although, when sitting down, she seems average-sized, when the fact of the matter is that she is not. She didn't know why, but much like when she had last seen her mother and ran away, Lea wanted to do the exact same. To stay away from Rendeline so as she may never harm her again. "If you'll excuse me, I'm'ona go buy some candy!~" Said the rose demon excitedly, eyes sparkling as her eyes turned a rather vivid shade of green, unbeknownst to the demon. Her mother had never told her, but her eyes seemed to change shades of color whenever she's feeling an extreme emotion. That being said, Lea giddily skipped over to the counter, looking at all the candies. Albeit true that the blonde demon wanted some sweets, it was just a ruse so as to keep her distance from the girl whom she so nearly killed. When the plant girl happened to glance out the window, she saw gray skies. For a split second, her face contorted in panic, for not only was she afraid of fire for obvious reasons, but Azalea was unexplainably terrified of thunder. Hoping that it doesn't thunder, but merely drizzle so she may enjoy the water, the rose demon looked back at the assortment of candies.

It was rather lively and filled with people, and among those people were Terra and the rose demon. When Red began to greet them Leon just stood back and relaxed while they chat. The rose demon would introduce herself as Azalea. He would remember that. For now Leon said nothing, he just remained near Red as she chatted with Terra. He after all did not desire to chat with anyone unless they spoke to him or if Red needed him. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Rendeline nodded with a smile. "Yes, I am thank you so much for your concern. I apologize though for I was not able to give you my greetings back at the lake." It was then the blonde had decided to finish her sentence for her and introduced herself as Azalea. Returning their heartfelt smile she then titled her head to the side and wondered if she had seen her before then she mentioned that she had seen her by the lake. Her memories were not that clear of what had happened to her after she clumsily drowned herself in the lake so it took her a few seconds before she could respond. "Oh, pardon me for not remembering you immediately I did recall that Terra had someone with her by the lake. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance as well Azalea." When Terra reached for her friend's hand Rendeline wondered if there was something wrong with the blonde. In her eyes she was completely fine though as a mere acquaintance she would not be able to determine how she was really feeling at the moment. A feeling of a need to lift up the mood was then felt by her. "Yes, she sure does look like a very interesting person indeed and it's really nice of you to treat her out. Me and Leon actually came here to celebrate. You are free to join us if you'd like." She said and took a quick glance at Leon hoping that it would be fine with him. Her attention was then brought back to the rose demon when she talked about Renton. "Yes, Renton is a really nice young man. Speaking of which, how was your lesson going with him Terra?" she remembered that he had given her a harp to play with. He looked really happy back then for he had found a apprentice to be with. When Azalea had excused herself to get some candy a pang of guilt would then be felt by Rendeline. For some odd reason her presence to have effect on her mood. She hoped that she had not offended her by her sudden appearance.

Terra stood silently as Lea ran off to the candy. This gave the demon the reassurance that her friend was still hung up about what happened at the lake. Red was clueless on the matter, but it seemed to maybe even make things worse. I guess my mental soothing words weren't as soothing as first thought. The bookworm sighed and turned back to Red, who had offered to let the two join her and Leon. Terra glanced over at Lea, who pretended to focus on the candy and nothing more. "Well actually, we were in the middle of an important discussion. I was going to let Lea ask the questions now, since I have been bombarding her with my own for the past hour. It's only fair, right?" She didn't feel comfortable making a decision for Lea, who seemed to be in a rough place momentarily. Terra gave the girl a small smile and looked over to Leon. "Nice to see you again, Leon." the bookworm said quietly. Terra still felt uneasy around reapers, which meant around Leon as well. She wasn't sure why; maybe because they lacked key emotions. Terra could recall a very kind reaper she met in the past by the name Alex. She met this boy through someone who had once been her friend. Alex had been the only reaper Terra had felt comfortable around. It wasn't that Leon was unkind, which Terra had no clue about. He just seemed too unapproachable, and almost scary. "I never would have pegged you to have a sweet tooth." Sending him a slight smile as well, she turned back to Red as she asked about her lessons. "Well you see, I haven't begun yet. Renton got really busy suddenly, and he said he would call once he was free." She glanced at her phone. "No call as of yet, but I'm still waiting. I can't wait to learn the harp. I always wanted to play something, so I owe him a lot for offering to teach me." The bookworm glanced back over at the harp, still in its case. Beside it was her notebook, which brought her attention back to Lea. "Would you excuse me for a moment, Rendeline?" she walked over to Lea, placing $30 on the counter in front of her. "I said the candy was my treat. Just give back what you don't use, alright?" She gave the blonde demon a gentle smile before leaning closer to whisper in her ear. "Once you feel comfortable enough, join us over there. I promise things will be alright. Rendeline is very kind. I will be there to make sure nothing bad happens, so don't worry yourself. If you want to leave, we can go anywhere you'd like." Terra patted her head once again and hurried back over to Red and Leon. "So if I may ask, how long have the two of you been acquainted?" The bookworm asked with a tilt of her head. She wanted to shift the conversation to things on a more positive note, and give Lea some time to think.

Azalea's whole body seemed to tense when she felt someone being approached and thirty dollars were placed in front of her. When she figured out that it was Terra, she immediately relaxed. She smiled softly, grateful that her friend was looking out for her. Immediately, when Terra had begun to whisper in Lea's ear, the blonde demon began to blush rather deeply, hoping her blonde locks would hide her face enough. Nodding, she slightly looked over her shoulder and quietly watched her walk back to the duo. Slowly, her blush faded, and Lea looked back at the candy selection. The glimmer back in her eye, she bought many different varieties of sweets. Azalea glanced over at Terra and the others before forcing herself to walk over, standing next to Terra. Quietly, the rose demon began to eat the candies, shutting her eyes in delight and smiling faintly in a euphoric-like state. Although the plants held sucrose, within such itty bitty things are glucose, which is important to every plant. For a moment, Azalea seemed more at ease. That was, until she looked back at Red, and immediately taking a step back. Lea looked up at Terra, frowning slightly. She then stood tall on the tip of her toes to reach Terra's ear to whisper softly. "I'm not certain I can be around a girl I nearly ki—" Lea stopped, standing normally once again, not wanting to continue.

He said in a pleasant tone. He then watched as Red invited Terra and Azalea to join them which Leon didn't mind since for one they did help save his master's life and two he just didn't care if others joined them. Apparently though they were in the middle of discussing something. It was then that Terra ran off to Azalea saying something to her and then came back with her. Azalea looked rather off when she looked at Red and perhaps there was a reason for that but Leon remembered something that he was going to do. He then began to walk towards both Terra and Azalea and stood right in front of them. "I didn't properly thank the both of you for saving Red so if I may I'd like to give you both a gift as a thank you from me. May I see both of your hands?" Leon held out the both of his hands towards them so that he may grasp them and bestow them a gift he wished to give them. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Azalea looked over at Leon when he walked over to both Terra and her. Softly, she nodded, looking down. "Of course. I was to blame for the going-ons at the lake... when they wouldn't listen, I had to step in." Azalea replied quietly, looking back up at him. She had realized that this man was the woman whom was fighting alongside the blonde demon. "I'm still truly sorry for what had happened... I do not deserve any such gifts you may wish to give me." Lea replied solemnly to when he asked if he could see their hands.

While Terra conversed with the duo, she felt the presence of someone close by. She shifted her glance to see Lea standing beside her, already going through the candy she had just bought. She couldn't help but to think of how adorable her face was. She seemed to be in pure bliss all because of the sweets. The sight made Terra want to hug and pet her, just like she would a kitten or puppy. Sadly, the moment was cut short once she opened her eyes and saw Red, immediately letting go of that bliss. Lea glanced up at Terra frowning, which caused Terra to become worrisome. Lea then whispered into her ear, telling the demon what she already had known. With a sigh, she interlocked her arm with her friend's and pulled the blonde closer to whisper. "Lea, you didn't 'nearly kill her'. You saved her. You couldn't control what your friends were doing, right? You didn't purposely try to harm Rendeline in any way, right? So why do you continue to put the guilt on yourself?" Terra seemed annoyed, but really she just wanted her friend to feel better about the matter. It was awful to hold guilt for something you couldn't control. Leon then offered the two gifts, extending his hands to them. Azalea began to refuse when Terra nudged her. "The only thing you did was save her life. There are no if's, and's or but's about it. If you blame yourself one more time, I will take those sweets away from you. Don't think I wont." She gave the rose demon a daring look, almost waiting for her to try it. As she extended her hand out to Leon, she waited patiently for Lea to do the same. Terra didn't believe they needed any gifts for doing the right thing, but felt it was rude to decline them when Leon seemed set on giving them.

Azalea had looked up at Terra as she spoke and whispered to her. But when Lea started to refuse, she could feel Terra nudging her side. Azalea felt comforted until she threatened Lea's candies. Her eyes widen, and she gave her pink-haired friend the look of such betrayal, as if even thinking about such a thing was a horrible act. With a sigh, Lea gave in, for she felt as if she had no choice. So, slowly, she held out her own hand toward Leon, waiting patiently for him to give the two girls gifts. The rose demon's eyes began to tear up, for the girl truly was as frail as a flower emotionally. She felt as if she was annoying her friend, and that saddened her beyond belief. Lea sniffled, passing it off as a casual act, still waiting.

Azalea seemed reluctant at first but once Terra convinced her Azalea finally gave in and presented her hand. Leon nodded and took both their hands softly holding them and closed his eyes. For a few seconds nothing would be seen or heard out of him or what exactly he was doing but eventually a light began to etch itself into both Terra, and Azalea's hand. A sigil would brand itself like a tattoo and Red would recognize the symbol from Leon's pocket watch. Once the sigils finished etching themselves into the hands Leon let go of them. "There, if you two ever need anything just call my name from wherever you may be whether a thought or whisper and that sigil will summon me to you at any point and time. It's if you two ever get into trouble and you need help. I'll be there in an instant." Leon hoped this showed his appreciation to them for saving Red. There wasn't anything else he could do to show his appreciation, at least in an emotional way. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Rendeline's hand went over her heart and frowned. "I'm terribly sorry if every I have interrupted your conversation." No wonder Azalea had decided to leave them. It was quite rude of her to suddenly arrive unannounced but given that she had seen Terra she thought it would only be fitting to give her her greetings instead of ignoring her presence. How ever when she commented on Leon having a sweet tooth Rendeline had found herself giggling at the thought. "Sorry that would be my fault. I was the one who proposed to have our celebration to be here." She said smiling sweetly at Leon. Maybe she should have asked him where he wanted to go before imposing her wants. She may be his master but she was had always been insisting on him of having free will. Her attention would then be brought back to Terra as she started to answer her question about her harp lessons from Renton. She said that they have not started yet but as she had expected it looked like she was really looking forward to their lessons. It's sad though that she was not able to see her Kitsune friend around lately and thought maybe she could visit his shop again next time.
After the said conversation Terra had somehow excused herself as well to comfort her friend who was now by the counter. Now she was left with Leon standing in front of their table. As she was to look back at him it seemed that the passive guardian of hers had already made his way towards the two young ladies by the counter. Pleased to see that he was moving on his own free will again she took a few steps closer to them and heard that Azalea was apparently refusing to receive the gift that Leon had to offer. Titling her head to the side she wondered as to why it seemed to be of a big deal to the blonde. Seeing that Leon needed a little help she continued walking and stood by his side. With hands both behind her back she smiled at Azalea and said "Don't worry if it's from Leon I'm sure that there will be no need to worry. He's one of the nicest people I have ever met." She said reassuringly. It was then she heard Terra saying saving one's life and wondered if she was talking about hers or maybe Leon's while he was still in his reaper form. Regardless, she kept the same friendly smile on her face for her not worry.

As the blackblood demon worried for Lea, she heard Red beginning to apologize. Quickly, she waved her hands back in force, shaking her head. "No no, it's quite alright. Don't be sorry for anything. I'm actually glad to see you up and about. I was worried about you for a little bit. So, please don't be sorry for anything." She said, giving her an affable smile. Terra admired Rendeline, because she was very kind and well mannered. There weren't many people like her during this time, so it pleased Terra that she had become acquainted with the girl. As Red began to talk about a celebration, the demon tilted her head. "And what is the special occasion in which you must celebrate?" She hoped she wouldn't come across as nosy, and if so she would be very sorry.
Terra turned her attention back to Azalea, noticing the tears in her eyes and her small sniffles. "Lea?" the bookworm mumbled sheepishly. Guilt filled her heart as she realized she had hurt her friend. "I didn't mean to make you upset Lea, I'm sorry. Please don't be sad." Slowly, Terra gave Lea a small hug hoping to persuade her forgiveness. After a couple of seconds she let her go and gave her full attention to Leon. Giving him her hand, she watched in wonder as it had begun to glow and a mark appeared. Leon then gave a brief explanation of what the mark was and what it does. Amazed, she held up her hand to get a better look. "That's an interesting trick Leon. I didn't know you were capable of such a thing. I guess you learn something new every day, huh?" Terra smiled, still gazing at her hand. I'll have to remember to write this down in my notes.
During the time Terra was lost in thought, another customer had opened a window and a cool breeze came in. The smell of rain carried with it, and it smelled like an awful storm. "My my, I think we all should head home soon. I think it's going to be a bad storm heading our way. Maybe It's path will change, who knows." Terra looked over at Lea, wondering if she would like to stay here for a bit longer or go someplace else. "Lea, what would you like to do?" Her lavender eyes looked into her friend's, wondering if she felt more comfortable around Rendeline now or if she still would rather leave.

Azalea frowned as she could feel her hand begin to tingle when Leon took her and Terra's hands. Curious, the rose demon lifted her hand toward her to see that there is now a symbol placed there. She then looked up at Leon, listening as he explained what this meant. Azalea bowed her head, her hair creating a shadow over her eyes. She hated to be any bother to anyone, and this seemed as if she would be impeding his free time with Red. The two seemed close, so Azalea didn't want for that to happen. Lea then looked over to Red as she spoke, frown still etched onto her face. "I am aware that he is a good person, and am aware that he does not wish to harm me; the way he acted and his stance proves those both. I just don't believe I deserve a gift, even when I'm told over and over again that I do." Sighing, Azalea ate another peace of candy, imagining the sweetness to be the actual character trait coursing through her, so that her next words to Terra would sound sweetened. "I want to go home." She said, looking outside, not wanting to be away from her friends when it began to thunder. The blonde demon didn't share one thing, though. She lived at the gardens not too far from here, because she did not feel comfortable living in a dorm away from all of her friends. Azalea then looked up at Terra, smiling faintly at her. "If that's alright with you."

Terra watched as the frowning Azalea continued to eat her sweets. The demon felt the guilt swelling in her gut, sure she had put her friend in such a negative mood. Lea then claimed she wanted to go home and Terra nodded. "Yeah, of course. Would you like me to accompany you or..." The bookworm worried at she had made her friend angry with her, and didn't want to assume she could tag along on the walk home. If not, Terra would probably head home anyways and do nothing else but write of her discoveries in a designated notebook. Sheepishly, she looked at the ground and fumbled with her index fingers. "...would you prefer to go alone?" Terra mumbled to Lea quietly.
