Ying and Corsica Toroto nimbly dodges Razorclaw's massive maw. causing to creature to take a large bite out of the earth. However. the warrior did not escape scot free. As Toroto ran towards the back of the monster, he felt a sharp pain across his shoulder blades. Razorclaw had whipped his head around and launched his long whip-like tongue at him, which struck Toroto across the back. However, this attack was not nearly enough to slow the determined warrior down. Toroto's four-hit slash cut deeply into the monster's backside and severed several of the monster's numerous legs. Razorclaw reared back once again and roared in pain. Now Corsica made her move. With cat like agility she springs onto the monsters back. Drawing a dagger from her leather shorts, she slashes wildly at the monster's eyes. Razorclaw thrashes about, trying to reach the girl with his claws. Corsica continues to hold on for dear life as she blinds the creature and shouts to her comrades. "Strike him now! Cut out his heart!" At her sister's encouragement, Ying rushes forward and drives her spear deep into the monster's underbelly, but she seems to have missed her mark. Clive continues to lay on his back in the bush, seemingly still unconscious from the earlier blow struck against him.

After performing his attack, he still felt the pain of his cut on his upper-left arm and the recent whip of the creature's tongue across his back. Also he felt drained of his energy even though he usually can dash for hours and hours on in, then again he hasn't eaten for about seven hours. He still felt rage flowing through him, unable to control it any longer. There were shouts all around him as he stood in place, it was one of the girls shouting to the other to kill it immediately. Even if he felt tired, the rage appears to power him for some reason, like something inside him is giving it. This energy is also bringing back lots of memories as well, mainly of the times before he met Artin. *Enters memory*Those times, he only cared for himself and acted like a cold-hearted jerk. One clearly came back to him, it was a mission to where he needed to rescue a girl (she was a traveler's daughter, who had red hair tied into a braid) from a group of bandits, which didn't end well. The girl he was suppose to save was stabbed to death by one of the remaining bandits, Toroto just left her lifeless body behind to report her death to her father. *exits memory* Then Toroto snapped out of that memory like it was a nightmare, his rage calmed down because the memory and found himself behind the monster for some odd reason. Then he stare at the monster with an angry, yet calm stare which wasn't as scary as the one when he was enraged. He felt weak at the moment, but he plans on climbing to the top of it's back and try to damage it further. There he will try to stab the creature through it's back with "Fox" and "Wolf". *He went and climb on top of it's back as quick as possible* He then saw that Ying try to stab it through the underbelly, which appeared to go deep but didn't kill the monster. The creature began to shake as he was on top of it, he immediately ran up to it's back and attempt to stab it's back, but was met with unstable footing and nearly fell off. He managed to maintain his footing and was ready to try and stab it for the second time. Will he be able to stab it this time or will the creature do another shake to throw him off? (Some odds stand against him, like his injuries and exhaustion, but he may be able to hit if it doesn't do another shake) Kowsauni Now will he fall or cause major damage to the Razorclaw?

Ying and Corsica Running up the monster's back proved to be a precarious move. The chitinous armor on its back was much thicker than elsewhere on its body, making it difficult to strike a decisive blow. Also, since Toroto wasn't using his whole body to grip Razorclaw the same way Corsica was, the monster quickly threw the man off his back as he flailed about. Razorclaw managed to get a claw on one of Corsica's legs and ripped the girl off his head, throwing her against a tree. Ying ran over to her sister's side, but Corsica, amazingly, didn't seem much hurt. Razorclaw scurried to one corner of the clearing and turned around to face his attackers. He was now blind in half his eyes and suffering from numerous lacerations and puncture wounds. Still, the enormous monster looked to have a lot of fight in him. He let out a mighty roar and began to charge at the group--then suddenly stopped. A change seemed to come over the creature. His twitching appendages began to move more slowly and erratically. He almost seemed to be in some sort of daze. Clive came crawling out of the bush clutching his head. A trickle of blood was running down his face. Still, he wore a big grin on his face. "Not feeling too well, eh, beastie? That should teach you to wallop me like that!"

Toroto has landed on his back after the creature threw him off when he was about to pierce through it's shell or try. As he laid on his back for a few moments, the pain surge through his back and left arm, It felt like someone just hit him with 5 crates of Apples while running. Yet, he was still conscious and breathing, also at least it wasn't like that one group that one group of bandits which used some sort of Sickles to fight him, he ended up getting some scars from that fight. Then he managed to lift his head upward, to see that the monster was charging at him and the girls. The monster still hasn't gave up, now it's probably wants to charge them into a tree, but as the monster charges at them, it suddenly stopped in it's tracks. "What?" Toroto said with one eye (Right) closed because some dust got into his eye after the landing and his teeth gritted from the pain. It appeared the monster stop because of something, he looked to his right to see Clive talking with a little bit of blood on his face. This must be Clive's work, Toroto thought to himself that Clive was controling something to stop something like that. Yet, even with all the pain, Toroto thought this was a chance to finish off the Razorclaw. As Toroto begins to get up off the dirt, he felt the pain of his left arm as he uses it to get up. He found "Wolf" laying beside him and "Fox" was laying more further to his left. After he managed to pick up his Swords as quick as possible, he again stood in his Offensive stance, but this time an bit more unstable. Toroto looked at the monster which was bond to some sort of force, he was ready to give it another charge, he plans attacking the underbelly with it. He then start to slowly walk forth , which quickly became an dash, This time he is not holding back. It was all or nothing for him, as he runs towards it, his scarf began to create a blue streak as he ran. Toroto may be in a weak state, but he willing to sacrifice all his energy until he can't stand, the pain didn't matter to him (Even though it should, pushing himself will just injure himself more). He thinks if he misses this moment to strike, there may not be another opportunity. Now, will he be able to strike at it, or will Clive finish it off before he does. (Still there are more possibilities of what could happen, I'm just laying some of those possibilities out)

Ying and Corsica Corsica borrows Ying's spear and begins to charge Razorclaw However, Toroto notices he is the closest one to the beast, so his attack will definitely hit first. Clive, despite his bold words, still seems to be a bit out of it and makes no inclinations of making an attack. Azure Toroto Razorclaw is temporarily dazed--what does Toroto do?

Toroto was going to charge into the Razorclaw (Listed in the Previous post), but knowing that he was not in good condition to attack, he held back upon thinking at that moment. Then all of a sudden he hears noise of someone running to his right, It was Corsica, who was charging right at the monster. Even if Toroto is not in the condition to attack, but he will be alert of Corsica and make sure the creature doesn't make an move until her spear kills it. The pain of his upper-left arm is irritating him as it was still bleeding, a part of his left arm was coated in a dark-red color which was blood. Yet, Toroto doesn't want Corsica to attack it because it may get out of Clive's trick and attack her immediately. Still Toroto has his blades out in case this does happen since he is one of the few who can help at the moment. Toroto just stay ready to attack with Offense pose, which he has his legs outward and both swords on each side raised, "Wolf" being his right hand that is in front of him while "Fox" was to his left side, slightly behind him. He is also weary because of hunger and drainage of his energy used to dash (Mainly, It's hunger which depleted most of his energy), which stands as a reason why he is not going to charge.. He waits to see if Corsica is able to attack it or it breaks free and is about to attack her, so he could go to assist (He is reserving some of his energy in case, it happens to attack) Kowsauni I made him change his mind about charging (Which he planned in the previous post confused , but changed his mind), he just waits to see what happens while alertly resting.

Ying and Corsica Corsica rushes past Toroto and attempts to thrust her spear into Razorclaw's chest. She is met with surprisingly little resistance from the dazed monster and manages to pierce her weapon deep into the monster's chest. Razorclaw roars in pain, but makes no other move. Corsica grunts to herself. "Hmrph, this beast must have more than one heart!" Clive smiles and makes an upward motion gesture with his hands, causing a large spike of earth to shoot up from the ground and impale the creature. Razorclaw bellows again, but doesn't move--he is pinned where he stands by the spire of earth. After these two brutal attacks Razorclaw is still alive, but there seems to be no fight left in him. The creature is dazed and his movements are growing slower and weaker. It seems he is just barely holding on.

Toroto watches the battle from a distance, the rest appear to have done a lot of damage to the creature. Yet, Toroto has managed to recovered some his energy throughout the 20 minutes of the fight while the rest were attacking. It would be a good time to finish it off, Toroto decides that he will continue fighting. He readies his swords on both sides, he is preparing to do another charge upon the beast. His target is it's right side where some of it's legs once were, where he will impale the Razorclaw (If possible). This time, he crotches down with his right foot in front of him as if he is ready to race someone with his swords out (He has a enough energy to do one more dash to perform his charge). After he went into his dash stance, he was off in a split second, leaving a bunch of dust and grass behind him. A blue streak emitted from his scarf and clothes, his dash isn't as fast as it was before , making his vision less blurry this time. Both arms were swing to front and back with the swords as he ran, this helps his body propel forward and to not consume too much energy while running. The right side of the Razorclaw was close to him and he is about do an slash at it in hope of doing the monster in.

Ying and Corsica Toroto's blades easily find their mark and he slashes down the entire length of Razorclaw's right side. The creature's side splits open and his steaming guts spill out onto the ground. Razorclaw lets out one more anguished roar before collapsing to the ground dead. Corsica removes her spear from the beast and begins to clean off its edge with some leaves. "Well, it is done. Razorclaw is no more. You take what you need to prove your kill. My sister and I will be harvesting what we can use as well." Corsica buries the butt of her spear in the ground, standing it up, then draws her dagger from her belt. She then looks over at Clive. "You. You poisoned him, did you not? I recognized the effect. There is no other reason he would stop like he did."Clive moves over to the monster's corpse and removes his dagger from it. He shrugs his shoulders at Corsica's question. "Perhaps there was some poison left on this old blade. What matters is we won, right?"Corisca casts Clive a shrewd look. "You should take what you need and leave quickly from this place. There are many more dangerous creatures in this forest and they will be drawn to this place now. You'd best hope the scent from Razorclaw's blood proves more appetizing than your own."Clive reaches up and tenderly touches the wound on his head. "Duly noted, my lady. Toroto, let's take our trophy and get out of here. What do you think will make for the best presentation back in town?"

The beast has fallen, Toroto was exhausted from doing the final blow to the Razorclaw, the rest moved in to the scene. Apparently, Toroto learns that the beast was weaken by some kind of poison on Clive's dagger, Toroto hears Corsica questioned Clive about the poison, which was a question Toroto was going to ask about as soon as he approaches them. Everyone looked tired from the fight, but it may be the pain they went through to kill it. Corsica then told both him and Clive that they should claim their Trophy and leave before creatures show up, then took out a knife to carve away at the Razorclaw's flesh. Toroto hears Clive ask him, how will they present this trophy and explain what has happen here today. After Toroto heard Clive out, he said "We should possibly tell them about what attacked them and the support we got to take it down, It wasn't easy, but at least there wasn't any losses" Toroto doesn't want to exaggerated about the battle and doesn't think so highly of being a show-off. "Well, I think I will not tell them of my distribution to the fight, but I will tell that we fought with our best efforts and brought it's downfall forth.". Yet, Toroto felt an spike of pain on his left shoulder after putting away his swords while talking to Clive, the pain was great but can be sustained, the bleeding has stained his light-purple leather shoulder pad into a darken color of Violet. "I think we should leave now..." *Toroto turns his head to the two girls* "I wish you two best of good luck on your travels... " *After he said those words, he and Clive begin walking away* Toroto hopes that they will be fine from this point on, but they may because they may have traveled as long as he has. Both Toroto and Clive walk through the woods, going to the direction of the village. Clive is holding the Trophy while Toroto has his right hand over his injury on his left shoulder, which has dried blood scabbing over the edges of the cut. Now, they go to Lupa. *Exits to Lupa*

Zanikia laid stretched out under a tree. He yawned lazily and sprawled out even more. Then he picked his head up and sniffed the air. Then he licked his lips and thought to himself that he was starting to get hungry. Zanikia pushed himself up with his large hands. His claws raking across the ground leaving marks in the dirt. He stood up slowly and shook himself off. The dirt and leaves flew off of his thick brown fur as he shook. He looked around to see what direction we was going to go to find prey. He sniffed the air again and turned to his left and walked in that direction. He crouched down when he saw a deer like creature nibbling on fresh green shoots of grass. Zanikia shifted on his feet and crept in closer. The prey picked up its head for a second and flicked its ear. Then it bent back down and started eating. Zanikia pushed off the ground and landed directly on top of the herbivore. His weight over powered the creature and it dropped to the ground. He clamped down on its neck with his massive jaws. He jerked his head once and heard a cracking noise. He could feel the vertebrae snap in his mouth. He laid the animal down on the ground gently. He bowed his head as in the give thanks for the meal and the life that he had taken to get it. Then he started to pick at the tender meat on the shoulder.

It takes him the better part of a day but Toroto is able to find his way back through the forest to where they felled the Teraxis. As before, the forest got darker, thicker and more foreboding the deeper he delved into it. However, the trail the girls had showed him was still fresh in his memory and he could follow the claw marks as before. As Toroto approached the clearing, his nose was immediately assaulted by a very powerful stench, one he can only guess to be that of the monster's corpse. As he pushes through the forest growth into the clearing of fallen trees, he is greeted by a strange surprise. There, where he had fallen, lay Razorclaw's body, but only half it still remained. The bits and pieces of the rest of him lay scattered about the field. The whole scene appeared alarmingly familiar to what he had seen of the bull's remains. If Toroto was to examine one of the nearby pieces, he would recognize the bite and chew marks. They were the same as what he had seen the other day on Duke's bones. Whatever ate Mr. Hopkins' prized bull also fed upon Razorclaw. It also meant that this creature was powerful enough to tear through Razorclaw's tough armored carapace with ease. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Zanikia consumed his fresh kill, his superior canine senses would pick up upon a strange smell that he could determine was coming from something about half a mile east of his position. It was the smell of death, fresh meat, and the beginning of decay--however, it was coming from a creature he could not readily recognize.

Upon examining the chew marks, he thought of it to be of an familiar animal, but couldn't figure out which one since the chew is covered in rotten flesh and couldn't make it out completely. The scene told an little that this creature had an eager behavior to feed on the corpse as it was still fresh perhaps at the time, but the creature may have traveled miles away by now since most predators with this kind of behavior would look for more food. Toroto kneels down before the corpse in hope of finding more evidence of the creature, looking for possible foot prints of the creature he was against. He start walking around the corpse, starting to ignore the foul stench which filled his nose. As he searched, he managed to find something which was slightly covered in moisture, It look like an big paw print which is slightly faded away because of the Teraxis' blood. It maybe the creature's paw print, but he couldn't clearly make out what kind, It could be an big fox or some sort of big Canine. Unsure of what it was, Toroto gets up from his close examination, he said " It could be an canine or an vulpine (I don't know what gives him the Idea of it being an fox, maybe exaggeration because both have slightly similar paw prints), but why would one be so big, also If It's an canine then why is it away from it's pack?". Still no matter what it is, Toroto will deal with it. In the past, Toroto had encountered both types, but not this big which makes Toroto wonder how would an canine or vulpine (which is less possible) get so big. He had been attacked by some wolves and foxes at seperate times throughout the years , which weren't this big and he doubts an vulpine would be capable of breaking the flesh of an Teraxis. Also an wolf wouldn't be able to handle such an task alone neither. "What could it be?" Toroto said to himself, then hears noise of something moving around in an bush. Out of caution, Toroto turns around toward the bush, thinking of it being an threat *he draws out his sword "Wolf"*. Toroto doesn't know what it is because of the shade of the trees shadowing over the bush, It may be the creature? What happens next? (I hope it's not directly the Wolf, maybe it's an small animal or creature. This is just an suggestion.) Kowsauni Toroto maybe a bit paranoid.

Zanikia heard a ruckus behind him. A different smell filled his nostrils. He flared his nose and he sniffed the air. He stood up and licked his face. His muzzle and part of his neck was covered in blood. He peeled his lips back and growled lowly. His teeth almost gleamed white as they contrasted the speckles of bright red blood. His hackles on the back of his neck were raised. He felt as if something or someone was watching him. "Show yourself!" he growled out. He stood on the balls of his feet preparing himself in case he needed at pounce. He thought to himself "Why can't I even enojy my meal in peace." At that point he thought of Rona and the pack and how he had to get back to her. So no matter what he was going to survive.

((OOC: All right, I feel like I need to clarify a few things. There's currently quite a distance between Toroto and Zanikia. Zanikia can smell the Teraxis corpse, but he's still a half mile away. Also, there are no canine looking paw prints around the corpse. However, since Toroto did inspect the area for animal tracks, I will tell you what he finds.)) As Toroto checks the clearing for tracks he would immediately find footprints that he would recognize as his own, Clive's, and those of two wild women. He realizes most of the tracks in the area are from the fight they had with the Teraxis just the day before. However, there are a few new tracks in the area, and although they are faint, they look identical to the marks Toroto saw on the side of the barn in Lupa. What's more is there is another set of strange marks different from the first. They obviously come from some enormous multi-legged, insectoid creature, but there was no telling what it is beyond that. What is even more odd is the lack of any other sort of tracks around the Teraxis corpse. No natural scavengers or predictors had come to visit the area. It seemed odd for such a large amount of food to go untouched by the denizens of the forest. It was almost as if something was keeping them away. Suddenly, Toroto hears something rustling in a bush behind him. As he turns and draws his blade, the rustling stops. It was impossible to tell what it was, but Toroto got the feeling it couldn't have been more than some small forest creature. Something must have spooked it, though. Before Toroto could even begin to ponder what it might it have been, he gets his answer. He hears rustling in the forest behind him, but this time it was much, much bigger. It was still some distance away, but he can hear the trees groan as something heavy brushed by them. As the rustling sounds got closer, Toroto can see the tops of certain trees shaking along the canopy line, but there is still too much thick underbrush to see the source of the disturbance. Just as it seems the creature is about to be on top of him, the sound suddenly stops. Several moments pass without any noise being heard, then the face of a young, blond woman can be seen timidly peeking out from behind a tree. Toroto will instantly recognize her as Ying. When Ying spots Toroto in the clearing she comes out from behind the tree with a surprised look on her face. "T-toroto....what are you doing here? It's dangerous to be in the forest by yourself!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zanikia's growled demand to the forest was met with silence. If there was something watching him it was not making itself known. One thing was for sure, there was indeed an odd smell coming from something far away. The wind must have changed directions, for the smell was coming in so strong now it was beginning to dull the other scents around him.
