History: Kylaen was born on Corellia to two Jedi Knights. They taught him the ways of the Jedi since birth. At fourteen, he met a Jedi Master by the name of Corran Horn, who led a band of anti-Empire pirates, the Nexu, and already had a Padawan learner by the name of Kael. Kael sadly fell to the dark side of the force. A showdown over Utapau, however, had decided the looming fate of Kylaen and Kael. The fallen Padawan had convinced a few Hutts in Nal Hutta that Utapau was full of riches untapped. The Hutts blockaded the planet while a portion of Kylaen's fleet docked there. Kylaen, upon learning this, ventured to the planet in his old X-Wing. He ordered his ships to lift off and attack a portion of the Hutts' one hundred ship blockade while he distracted Kael by single-handedly attacking the Sith's flagship, the
Dark Fist, a hijacked Imperial SD. While boarding the vessel, his X-Wing was destroyed by auto-turrets in the hangar as Kylaen leaped from the cockpit, throwing him through an open door. He proceeded to the command observation deck where Kael awaited him. After five minutes of nonstop fighting, the Sith warrior was knocked unconscious when Kylaen hit him in the face with the butt of his saber. Fate was against the dark lad as a stray turbolaser bolt hit the unshielded ship's duro-glass frame of the deck. Various items rushed past Kylaen, some hitting him and scarring him for life, and Kael was sucked out of the gapping hole before the ship's airlock safety system could shut it. The irate fleet meanwhile had broken through the blockade with near zero damage. Kylaen, feeling confident in his crew, ordered the small armada to attack the fleeing Hutt ships who had now decided that this was too much for them. They never made it. Utapau's planetary defense fleet had lifted off while the Hutts were distracted. The Utapauns, however, never fired a shot; they just stopped the ships from escaping. The Hutts had to choose between the five pirate ships and the Utapauns' 100. The Hutts suddenly saw the pirate vessels as their way out. The Hutt ships opened fire on the pirate ships but could do not stop them. The pirate ships proceeded at the Hutts' ships with increasing speed. The Hutts made there way planetside to their own doom. Utapau's planetary orbital cannons tore them apart. The Utapauns thanked Kylaen without end and erected a statue for him. At 25, he was knighted as a Jedi Sentinel. He fights with alarming vigor yet remains his cool (and his morals, cough, Anakin, cough). He's piloted ships since he was 5 and even built his own. His youth and happy-go-lucky personality mask his true feelings and thoughts from others. Eventually, after being knighted, Horn gave Kylaen with a small fortune of credits and official leadership of the pirate band. The band pledged eternal loyalty to the Jedi Knight and his galactic struggle against evil and corruption. Sadly, during a run-in with an Imperial SD, he was hit with cryogenically frozen bacta after a container exploded from a turbolaser bolt while he tried to evacuate a damaged pirate dreadnought battle cruiser. During his frozen sleep, anger and rage at the Empire took its tole on the young Knight. When he was finally defrozen a year ago, he attempted to return to the Order but was shunned due to his darkness. He took this quietly and returned to his ship, the
Rabid Ferret. He then ordered his men to open fire on a Sith ship attempting to attack one of the Order's bases. It was the first in a long line of incidents, secretly assisting the Order. However, Kylaen learned of another, newer, more powerful force in the galaxy, the Gray Order. He proceeded to join the Gray's, understanding that the Jedi Order now viewed him as an outcast. He still assists those who in need, whom Kylaen believes are eternally good.
Physical Description: 6'2" with dirty blond hair. Wears red and black Mandalorian dualist armor (for added protection without loss of mobility) with a hooded-jedi robe over it, he sometimes wears a face plate that color matches his armor, for the Revan look.

Ship Requested: Can I use my ships? One's a customized BTL-S3 Y-Wing. It boasts twin Z-K5 propulsion drives with onboard repulsors for maneuverability. I sacrificed the proton bombs for this feature. It also has Quantum V2 armor and an Anti-Fighter turret on top, a light repeater with an ion cannon attached. The primary lasers are twin MP-100 Medium Repulse Lasers complete with beam compressors for added range. Uses RX-5 Shielding specialized for dog-fighting and anti-turret protection. Has twin minor-proton tubes and loaders (they have 1/2 the power of a proton torpedo, 1/4 the weight and are homing).
The second ship is a prototype designed by pirate scientists. It's called the
Rabid Ferret, code-named
Infernal-class. The ship carries 12 customized fighters piloted by the highly trained pirate attack squadron, Scythe Squadron (though no match against Rogue Squadron). The
Ferret's main guns each have the power of 20 heavy quad-turbolasers, giving the ship a near firepower of an Imperial class II SD. The ship carries a fighter launch ramp so the fighters can exit the ship at full speed. The shielding on the ship has enough power to withstand a serious beating but the experimental reactor core may go critical if used at full power (no one's been brave enough to push it's limits). The ship carries quad-shield projectors on the horizontal planes can be switched to small gravity field generators. The ship's armor is black Quantum V3 grade, hard enough to withstand a small supernova. The ship's length, however, is only 850 meters, a little smaller than a Victory-class SD. The ship has 20 concussion missle launchers, 20 proton torpedo tubes on the sides of the ship for a broadside attack, and 10 tractor beam projectors.
