Luna finished cleaning and sat on the counter."Well it sounds like we both have it rough when it comes to luck."He stretch out and yawned some.He jumped off the counter as smiled."You ready to get the hell out of here for the night?"He smiled a bit as he spoke.He was happy as hell that he was not going home tonight.

"Well luck can always change." For better or for worse was anyone's guess. Russ looked around to see if there was anything he missed. Not seeing any he looked back at Luna. "Ready if you are. I only live a couple blocks away so we don't have to travel too far." Which was good on Russ's wallet. He wouldn't have to pay to take a taxi or the bus to and from work everynight.

Luna looked around to make sure everything was good."All right we can go out the back and walk from there....i hope its not to cold out."Luna couldn't take the cold very well at all. He froze easily.He walked back to the back door opening it up and locking it behind them."Lead the way."He stepped to the side so Russ could lead the way to where he was living.

"Then we'd just have to make sure to get there quickly then if you don't want to deal with the cold." Russ kept an eye out as Luna locked up, scanning the area for potential threats. He nodded to the north. "Ain't a too fancy place; but the place I got works for now." Shoving his hands into his pocket, Russ started making his way towards the apartment building.
It was odd how buildings on the same street could be so different. One building could have the high classed people in it. Then the next could be like Russ's, run down, a place most people might avoid. Oh sure, the outside looked alright. Russ swore it was a trap by the landlady though.
Nice red bricks made the walls, black iron hand rails and thriving potted plants were what the outside world saw. Once inside though...Russ stepped over the legs of a slumped drunk as he held the door open. "Word of advice if you ever decide to swing by. Don't stop for anything once you pass through this door. Take the stairs two at a time if you gotta."
Inside the wallpaper was stained or torn. Overhead lights flickered, trying to decide if they wanted to work or let its tenants stay in the dark. Skirting a mumbling female hunched over at the foot of the stairs Russ started up. "At least you'd only have to make it to the third floor." Even if the elevator worked, Russ would never trust it. And at least his place was at the very end of the hall. He didn't really have to worry about anyone unsavory passing by.

Luna blinked lightly as they walked into the apartment complex. He couldn't help but to cling himself to Russ's arm lightly. His place was not the best but it was a normal house not a complex so he wasn't use to seeing it like this. he was just use to dealing with his sister drunk boyfriends."As long as i'm safe in your apartment i don't care."All he wanted was to be safe with someone for a change and it was looking like Russ was turning into his knight in shining armor. Looking up at him once inside he had completely forgotten that he had grabbed a hold of his arm at all."I guess i should have you over to my place some time if you want to see true madness."

It was kind of hard to unlock his door with the other clinging to one arm, but manage it Russ did, using his foot to help push the door open. As much as he's complained to the landlady, you would think she'd get someone to come around and make it stop sticking.
The redhead pulled a face and gave a mock shudder. "If I ever get the urge to see that madness I'll let ya know." Stepping into the apartment, Russ winced at the mess. Definitely would have to start cleaning up once Luna got comfortable. And he'd actually would have to try to keep it neat if Luna was going to come over often.
He'd start with the clothes first. The ones that you had to step over to get to the back rooms. Spending most of his time in the living room and kitchen, Russ had more food and paper trash there than clothes. Those were more in volume by the lone bedroom and bathroom.
Scratching at the back of his head, Russ motioned slightly to the couch. "Make yourself comfortable. I'll go find you a pillow and a blanket. Want anything to drink or eat?"

Luna thought for a moment or two.A glass of water would be nice...and thank you so much for letting me stay with you Russ."He slowly let go of Russ's arm and walked over to the couch and sat down. He relaxed right away. He felt strangely safe around the other. He looked around the room. His room like a little better but the rest of his house looked worse since he was the only one who did any cleaning. So he did mind the mess. He layed back some and streatched him self out and yawned a bit.

Finding a clean glass, Russ filled it with water, heading back to where Luna laid. With one hand he stacked some of the magazines covering the table to make room to place the cup. "Well we couldn't have you roaming the streets this late after all." Since the trashcan was on his way to the hall, Russ nabbed some of the trash littering the 'living' area and tossed them in. Next grabbing an already overflowing laundry hamper, Russ tried adding more to its pile as he made his way down the hall to the closet. Shoving the basket in the floor, Russ surveyed the possible choices.
With it just being him living there, Russ wasn't one to have a shelf full of sheets or extra linens. It ended up with Russ taking the lightweight quilt he had in case his heat ever went out in the colder months, and a pillow off of his own bed.
Taking those back to the couch, Russ held them out to Luna. "If you need anything else, don't be afraid to ask alright?"

Luna sat up once Russ bring him his drink. He took and sip and smiled lightly.He smiled even more as he took the blanket and pillow."Thank you so much...There is one thing i want."He motioned for him to come in closer. Luna waited to see if the other male would.

Russ had opened his mouth to say welcome when Luna mentioned wanting something else. "Hm?" What could it be that Luna was needing him to come closer. They were alone in the apartment. Of course, the walls were thin, which could easily be told with how the rest of the building inside looked. Maybe it was something personal that Luna didn't want the risk of anyone else hearing. "What's up?" he asked, leaning closer.

Luna had a soft blush come across his checks once he leaned in close. He shut his eyes and gave Russ a soft tender kiss."Your the sweetest guy i have ever meet....dont change......ever."His blush was huge now. There was no way in hell he was going to hide that blush from anyone.

Russ blinked in surprise as the other pulled away from the kiss. He adverted his gaze. "Uhm...sure. Okay." He quickly stood straight. "Well...'night." Then he did something he hadn't done in a long time. He fled. He didn't dare try to take a breath until his bedroom door was closed firmly behind him.
He had just been kissed. By his new co-worker. His new, cute co-worker. A type of guy that Russ avoided having anything to do with romantically. It wasn't the fact that they would be working together. Usually nothing too horrible came out of that.
It was the type of person Luna was. Or at least, how Russ saw him. Luna had blushed after kissing Russ. Had asked him to never change. That wasn't Russ's usual type. Russ wanted the type of person that there would be no strings attatched. That was cool with a one night stand.
What if Luna, like others before, wanted something more? Something that Russ really couldn't give?

Luna knew he was a idiot the second he pulled away.He knew he had really messed up. Held in how upset he was with himself until Russ entered his bed room. He pulled the blanket over his head put his face into the pellow and screamed at him self for being so dumb. Luna only felt good about him self if he thought he had done something good for someone else and that didn't happen very often. He just wanted to hide from everything right now and scream at him self. He was use to regection from good guys but that didnt soften the blow any. He was all ways stuck with guys like his ex- Zek who saw him as a toy and pet. Maybe that was all he was good for?

Russ would have killed for a smoke right now. Something to try to calm him down. Smoking was one of the things he had quit when he figured out that that habit, along with others, weren't going to help him afford to get out of his current location. He'd go get a drink; but after a few at the bar, and the fact that the person that was making him jittery was out there near the kitchen had Russ rooted to the spot.
He should go talk to Luna. Make sure things were still cool between them. It was kind of an arupt way that Russ had left. Maybe Luna had gotten the wrong impression. He had his hand on the doorknob, ready to open the door and do so when he paused. What if now wasn't a good time to talk? It just happened after all. Or maybe it was the best time.
Groaning, Russ pulled at his hair before spinning around and grabbing the sweats he used as pajamas. He'd try to sleep; but with these thoughts racing through his head, Russ didn't think sleep would be possible.

Luna slowly removed his shirt so he could sleep better. taking off his baggy shirt showed his girly shape beneath it. He ended up falling asleep like he did a lot of nights with small tears in his eyes. He was use to this. As sleep took him over so did the nightmares of Zek. Zek was a sadist masochist nightmare. If he wasn't being beaten he was well...being forced appon by him.
