Nick walked her in "You look very beautiful tonight" He said making his first swing and he ordered a burger with with bacon on it with pepper jack cheese and a side of frys with a coke (sounds so good right now)

Nick looked at her "So umm how long have you been cheering?" he asked curiously "Cause you had me rooting for your team your very persuaysive in that oufit" He smiled

Sky looked up at him " Since I was little but for actual cheering with a squad freshmen year." she smiled. She laughed " Well thank you I have my ways, and how long have you been playing football?" she asked politely.

"Hmmm since I was about 7 my dad thought I'd make a good line backer but I'm good at throwing to so since I played defense most of my life I know what they're pulling" He ansrewed

Nick looked out the window after they finished they're food and Max showe up and so did Nick's buddies but then people from her school did "Uh oh"

Sky's mouth dropped open. They had bats, crow bars, didn't look for kind. "Nick.. we have to get out of here." Sky said as she got up and went to the back exit. Before she knew it Max grabbed her from behind. "Sky what did I tell you?" "Nick run." Sky said quietly.

A guy swung a bat already at Nick but Nick grabbed it and knocked the dude out and swung at the others and thats when Nick's friends jumped in gettng all of them contained and Nick looked at Max and the owner of the diner came out and handed Nick a gun and Nick shook his head "No not neccesary Kim" Nick looked at Max "Let her go right now" And Max shook his head and Nick ra up to them and he got her out of the way and Max swung but Nick swung harder as fast he threw a football knocking Max out cold "He's not a good guy right?" Nick asked Sky anxiousto get out of there with her safe

Sky was froze the whole time. "Actually he is a friend, not my boyfriend like he thinks." Sky picked up Max's leather jacket and put it on since she was freezing. "Come on Nick lets go." she nodded and started to head back.
Already people took pictures and Nick and her would be on the front page of the news paper tomorrow "Famous Football Player seen with Rival Cheerleader"

Nick drove her home "Well... That was fun" He smiled and walked her out of the truck to her front door "Normally I would have won you a stuffed teddy bear and taken you out to a movie and real dinner but on a short notice.. I suck" He chuckled

Sky smiled " It's alright , anyway thank you for tonight." she leaned over and kissed him. She hopped out and closed the door. Sky walked up to her room and layed down. She wondered if Nick would find her phone number on the paper she left on his dash.

Nick walked back to his truck suprised he got a kiss out of that he thought it was a fail so he hopped in seeing the piece of paper and automatically knew and he smiled putting it in gear pulling away
