Phanta Magoriga
I haven't posted anything before now because, well, you all made fabulous points and I couldn't think of anything to add.
But reading over the manga for the upteenth time, I came again across the conversation between the sisters, and it sobered me a bit. So I feel I should make a point...
I am not here because I idolize the sisters and think they're wonderful. They're not. They're shallow, pretentious, arrogant, snide, and rude. While I apprieciate their methods in dealing with Gambino as being non-violent, I also feel that they did this merely to keep from getting their hands dirty. So no, I don't support the image of the perfect, wonderful sisters.
But I do support the sisters. I support them because the alternative is Gambino. The people who refuse to take a side are morons - there are two major powers in Gaia, and sooner or later, you will have to make a choice. And we've proven Gambino to be just as shallow, pretentious, arrogant, snide, and rude as the sisters. In addition, he doesn't give a dead rat's arse about the Gaia people - the Sisters, I believe, genuinley care for our welfare, if only to have someone to compliment them. And the Sisters, while they may have kidnapped Gino (which I understand, from the reasons CPanda gave in her fabulous essay,) are not child abusers. At least they had magazines for the poor boy - what did he have in the giant Tower (or, my personal favorite name I've heard for it - the Giant Ego-Wang)? A bunch of scientists turning into zombies, again? Grunny is hardly a suitable playmate for the boy.
This opinion is set, obviously, BEFORE April 1st. And that about wraps it up.
