Draco Malfoy  Draco slept during the whole trip. He hasn't even noticed when he had actually fallen asleep. For him it didn't matter anyways, at least they had already arrived at Hogwarts. He and the gang got out of the carriage and headed to the assembly with the other older students. "If only we could skip this useless part of the arrival..." After all the older students sat down and the newer ones arrived Draco notices Zuko walk in with Hermione, Harry, and Ron. "Ugh.." He turns away in disgust but looks back absentmindedly.
Hermione gave a small smile at Zuko. "everything will turn out fine, eventually." Hearing The other's story the only thing Ron said was; "Whoa.. Sounds bitter." After a while the carriage stopped meaning they had already arrived at Hogwarts. "Finally!" Harry said cheerfully. They all got out of the carriage and walked to where the assembly was held.

When they got to the school Snape was waiting outside. "go get healed up after you eat Zuko" he gave the others shoulder a squeeze the slytherins looked shocked as they passed the two of them. though they had different hair color it was clear they where related. "I will see you guys later" Zuko said with a wave to harry and them then turned back to Severus "You where right about me chosing a place i wanted to attend. Draco refuses to be my friend anymore. I guess I should of picked a place closer to mother.. i cant believe it wasn't lucius that broke my friendship off with him.." he said looking sad as he told snape. Severus just gave a small smile and a rub to the shoulder.
"you have them as friends.. atleast that is something Zuko.." Severus pushes the other towards the front doors "go and find a seat"
That smile and all the other interactions they had caused students to stop and watch in shock.

Draco Malfoy As Draco saw Zuko with Snape he was shocked even if he already knew they were related it was somewhat noticeable. He looks at the gang, they were shocked as well. The pure-blood watched them from a safe distance although he didn't quite understand what they were saying he recognized some words. He slouched, clenching his fists. What am I doing wrong... He thought. After the assembly he went to his room without eating something first. He had both hands in his pockets and he looked down. This isn't anger, nor depression.. So what is this feeling? ((sorry i posted late D': I hope this is ok if you think i need to fix something PM me kay))

(nope thats good though you could post as harry and them. also i am guessing the best house for him would be gryffindor lol)
Zuko followed the rest of the students in. everyone sat and Dumbledore motioned him forward "Attention please, we have a transfer from to be sorted." the room went quiet as Dumbledore spoke. "Zuko Nikoti. sit please" he motions to the seat and Zuko stepped up and sat at the chair his blond hair falling in his face and he softly pushes it back. people where staring shocked at the bandages the hat was set on his head and the room seemed to be holding their breath waiting for it to speak it first spoke privately to Zuko "You are very close to pure blood, your family is notorious for being in Slytherin. but I feel that the best spot for you to grow and mature is..." it then yelled "Gryffindor!" the Gryffindor table cheered. the hat was taken from his head and he headed over to sit next to Harry and Hermione. "well.. that was easy i guess" he smiles.

Draco Malfoy Draco was about to go inside his room when suddenly a thought hit him. In which house does Zuko belongs? He hurried back to the assembly room and stopped at the entrance but he did not enter. Draco stayed outside and slightly opens the door hoping no one would notice him.
After the room quieted down Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat down together and watched Zuko being called for the transfer of houses. Dumbledore started speaking and the room was still. As it yelled Gryffindor everyone who belonged in that house cheered. "That's great news!" Harry said smiling.
Draco stared at the whole commotion. "Pathetic...." He closes the door and walks away back from where he had come from. "I guess they do pick Gryffindors out of pity." He smiles.

Zuko looked at the Slytherin table hoping to see Draco there but he noticed the other was absent. he turned back to people congratulating him and some seemed too scared to approach him. once the first years had been sorted and the feast started Zuko tried to eat using a fork but cause he was left handed and that hand happened to be in a cast he was having hell of a time, it made it worse he couldn't manage using the other hand "oh screw this" he set down the fork and just ate with his right hand. some of the other students laughed at it but just continued to eat.

Draco Malfoy Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat down next to Zuko. Hermione watched as the other tried eating with his right arm and failing. She moves closer to him and said, "Here. Let me help." She smiles at him.
Seeing he was not doing any progress staying inside his room, hungry, irritated, and not being able to sleep Draco decided to go down to the feast. "I hope one of them actually chokes eating." He said smirking. He arrived at the feast, sliding his hands inside his pockets and glaring at everyone. He saw an empty seat at the very end next to Crabbe and Goyle. As the pure-blood got there he sat down and said, "You two. Get me something." He said. They both nodded and did as they were told. Draco looked around hoping by any chances to see if the new Gryffindor was around. Crabbe and Goyle had looked for his food and placed it on front of him.

Zuko smiles at Hermione, he did have a charming smile, he let her help him eat, mostly she was cutting his food up for him to eat. some of the girls where giggling and watching them in awe. He happened to look up right as Draco looked at him, when their eyes met He looked rather hurt and turned his attention to the food. "this is great food, man its so different when you dont have to cook it" he laughs and smiles at Harry and Ron, since they where across from him.

Draco Malfoy "It's actually really good." Ron said taking a mouthful of food. "Indeed!" Harry took small sips of his drink. They all started talking about last years events, potions, scrolls. Hermione kept on helping Zuko and talked about new stuff she hoped learning this year. The girls started squealing ad giggling in awe and she just smiled in amusement.
Draco started eating, he saw Zuko across the table and as their gaze met he looked away. After hearing the girls squealing and what not he absentmindedly looks up and as Draco saw Hermione "helping" Zuko with his food he clenches his fits and hits the table. All eyes were on him. He heavily breathes and he choked out, "Ugh. This tastes like s**t. Hope you all finished with your stupid childish antics and also, for those who had a tough year, it's going to be even worst than before. You've all been warned." He shouts, giving a hypocritical smile and storms away. "Bastards."

He grabs some pudding and chucked it at Draco hitting the other on the back of the head. "learn some manners you curly haired git" he grabs another thing and stands. "you know you need to learn that your not the king of the world Draco malfoy" he switched to russian (learn some manners was the only thing in english) and threatened the other with the food (shaking it at Draco) then he scuffs and sits down going back to eating and wipes off his hand like nothing happened. Alot of people where sitting there shocked not sure what just happened.

Draco Malfoy "This will not end well." Harry mumbles. He watched the whole thing happen as so did Hermione, Ron, and of course everyone else. The room was in total silence, the only voices that could be heard was only Draco's and Zuko's.
Draco turned his back and as he was about to leave something hit the back of his head. "What the-?" He said. Draco heard every word Zuko was saying. Even though the other switched to Russian, Draco understood the threat. He walks toward the other even though he was sitting down Draco just glared at him, crossing his arms. "This is the kind of childish actions I was speaking of. There are only two reasons weak people exist, and I'm in favor of those two reasons. So you should just stick with the weakling if you cannot handle strong leaders as myself." He said

Zuko stood up "I am a weakling? I was the one who stood up to my father. got beaten for being strong.. you are the weak person, you hide behind your father like a child, like your nothing but a spoiled.." he stopped and let out a yelp as Snape grabbed his ear and Draco's shirt pulling them both out into the hall "that is enough, Both of you will serve detention for a week for fighting like this.. and further more.. You are both being childish about this. you where best friends. stop acting like its the end of the world and get over the fact you are not friends anymore.. now Zuko.. Get to the hospital wing now" he points "and Malfoy, show him there." he was very angry at both of them. Zuko just stayed quiet as he listened to his Uncle. then looks at the other male waiting for draco to show him the way as Snape heads back inside.

Draco Malfoy Draco was about to answer back, just when Snape had pulled them both out into the hall way. He just rolled his eyes. Detention.. This is not the first I've been there. He thought, still listening Snape. Draco looks at Zuko and sighs. "First year here and you already got detention." He said in a low mocking him. He puts both hands inside his pockets."This way..."

Zuko followed them "Its not like Im going to get yelled at by a parent.." he mocked back as he followed the other rubbing his ear where snape had pulled it. "Why did you stop writing me? was it really your father or you that broke it off?"

Draco Malfoy "I, dont remember..." Draco said looking down. His eyes were unfocused. He was totally lost in thought, trying to force himself to forget that unrequited friendship. He started having a headache. After walking a while both males got to the hostipal wing. As he saw Zuko walk in Draco sat down outside, his eyes slowly closed. Why am I even waiting out here?
