Itchigotchi A Minor Crisis Don't listen to me, I'll slow you down. ; _ ;
I recommend looking at books about figure drawing and trying realism before heading off to anime. o:
It'll prevent your art from looking generic and 'bleh' looking like mine. ; A ;
I'm trying so hard to correct my mistakes and it's so difficult cause bad habits die hard. orz /throws proportion and realism out of the window mrgreen I learnt to draw by copying sailor moon pictures :3
It's already too late for me. /sob
LOL. I used to have a sailor moon puzzle as a kid that I loved to bits. :'D
/too bad all the pieces started disappearing 'mysteriously'

I never really copied anything. Maybe that's why I can't draw properly.
I rather go by this try and error algorithm. 8D
while last line you drew looks retarded:
__erase it and do it again
draw next line
Though the outcome may depend on your definition of retarded. xD

Though what do you refer to when you say the 'last line'? Haha and I think I use to love digimon when I was young c: Well you usually start a picture with a single line, right? Let's say upper eye lid. Then you add the next one, say lower eye lid, and so on. xD Well, I do know that starting off with circles and squares is also a method, but that's too boring. 8D
