 Allie blinked and then bit her lip.Geez,Romantic much? Yes,Allie was romantic too but not as much as them.She then nodded as James answered her.Well at least that was good.She had been asked to come here for nothing. She sighed,"Ok.Good." Her eyes then went as wide as dinner plates at the last thing that he said.Did he just say what she thought he said? Allie took a step back,"Ummmmm, I dont know what to say.Congratulations? But you do know Natalie will most likely flip out when she finds out? And i'm not going to be the one to tell her. I'm not risking myself getting skinned alive."

Allie stiffened when she heard Natalie behind.Her mind was suddenly going a mile a minute.She was scared,nervous,and again scared.Natalie scared Allie to death.The female was probably the most serious and coldest person she had ever met.Allie gulped and said,"Well.....You see.....Ummm.......They can tell you.I cant.Sorry." She then looked down wishing that the ground would grow a mouth and eat her.

James made her happy, in the endless sort of love and happiness. Winter smiled at him though she couldn't help but think about Natalie. Speaking of the devil, when Allie entered and said Natalie sent her, Winter had no idea what to say to that. Natalie had sent her? Was that really true? If so then why would James think even if he just told Allie he was having a child. Winter was nervous she knew Natale was probably right behind the healer but Winter didn't want to tell Natalie but she knew she had to. Winter cautiously grabbed James' hand squeezing it tightly. What would happen now? James was supposed to Natalies mate but since he chose her, would Winter have to challenge Natalie for the position? She couldn't because she had a baby! What if she lost? What would happen to her and James? This was just so confusing. When she heard Allie again say she wouldnt be the one to tell Natalie Winter nodded nervously. She knew her and James would have to tell her. When She finally saw the black haired far Winter sighed heavily. This would be tough but Winter would be nice about it. "Natalie... I... I'm having James' baby..." Winter told her nervously. Ⓙαмεs smiled a bit from Allie's reaction. It was what he expected, seeing as how ********* supposed to be Natalie's mate. Just what was going to happen now? He mated the beta female, who was supposed to be with the beta male. And he was supposed to be with the alpha female. This was going to be a huge mess! Seeing Natalie enter, his arms around Winter wrapped tighter, pulling her even closer to him. Natalie was going to snap after she heard this, he kee she would. He had to keep Winter safe, keep his child safe. Listening to Allie again he nodded his head, closing his blue eyes to think. His heart raced and his eyes shot open when Winter spoke, telling Natalie that she was pregnant. Let the fireworks begin! "I'm sorry Natalie." He spoke softly, not really sure what else to say. This was horrible. He knew that this would kill Natalie, and he would definitely feel her pain after when they went home. I'm sleeping on the couch tonight. He thought seriously. No way was he climbing into bed with Natalie now. She might murder him! He struggled a bit to calm himself down and just relax into Winter, putting his chin on top of her head gently. She was practically in his lap now, which was the safest place for her until things calmed down a bit. He didn't really know what would happen to the baby if she shifted, and he didn't want to find out either. She would has to remain human until it was born, whether she liked it or not. And he would have to protect her with his life from everyone, including Natalie.

You'd be better for this then I ever would be ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Natalie looked at Allie raising a slim brow at the girl. "Can't? Having problems speaking?" she resorted with a bit of a snort since she had been talking just fine a few minutes ago. Her gaze shifted from Allie over to James and Winter her nails sharpening at how close they were, while they dug into her palm. It was like they didn't even give a crap about how things were suppose to work around here, or her feelings. Every chance she got Winter always through her and James past in her face saying she did this with him, or that and it hurt. Seeing them like this made her hurt even more. As soon as she heard Winter's words Natalie's face turned blank. Completely void of any emotions. At first she figured it was some kind of sick joke but hearing James washed that all away. When it finally clicked that it was real, and this wasn't some kind of sick joke the self control, and her sanity just seemed to snap. The small thread holding her together was now gone. Her hands uncrossed from over her chest as her fingers started to twitch, droplets of blood feel from her palms from were her nails dug in as her body started to change. The emotionless expression she wore turned into dark anger, hate and hurt. This wasn't even fair, nor was it right! As she dropped onto all fours she growled at the two of them wanting nothing more then to rip Winter's head off but she started pacing back and forth. She couldn't do that to her, she was with child. Despite how much she hated Winter, the child didn't do anything wrong. It was it's mother fault in the first place. Her nails dug into the ground drawing up bits of earth as her chest started to heave. She wanted to say something, snap at them make them feel like she did. So utterly alone, lost and so full of anger but she couldn't. Her ability to use her words were gone. Of course this would happen here. Of course of course of course! I lose everything at these damned caves! Everything! she thought wanting nothing more then to just curl up and die at the moment,b ut she couldn't show how upset this was making her. That would just make them feel better wouldn't it? And sorry? James wasn't sorry. He was just toying with her, he probably knew this was going to happen anyway. Her body twisted around and shook violently as if she was trying to shake off what had just happened, but she knew it was stupid. It wouldn't go away, especially not how happy that a** looked while telling her this, holding that b!tch in his arms. They just liked adding salt to the wound. When she finally stopped her pacing and shaking she turned to look at them once more before quickly looking away hoping they wouldn't see how defeated she was, before she shot off, having no idea were she was going but she needed to sink her claws into something, and most likely break down. Natalie hated feeling like this. So vulnerable and weak but at leas she wouldn't let them see that. Maybe she'd just stay in this form for the rest of her life. Wolves didn't have tear ducks so she wouldn't cry, no matter how much she wanted too.

As much as she hated her she knew how much this would hurt the fae. She was sincerely sorry. She knew how it felt to just be dumped and left alone to fend for yourself. Winter could feel James' heart race as he said sorry to the fae. Winter felt horrible and felt like being nasty and saying how it was only karma but she couldn't think like that. Sure no one had comforted her when James completely dumped her for alpha position with Natalie but Winter hoped Natalie would have someone to be there with her as much as she hated her. Winter just sat there practically on James' lap as she watched the fae pace back and forth. She was probably confused and unsure of what else she could say. There was really nothing the alpha female could say. Winter was going to say something but she thought better of it as she let her body relax against James but made no signs of doing anything else. When Natalie looked at them one last time Winters purple eyes flashed with a mix of emotions. She looked up at James after she left. "What's going to happen now? I don't want her to... To try and kill you because she's angry. Because you still... Live with her." She hesitated with the words. What if... What if during the night Natalie tried to make a move on James to get him to go to her and leave Winter and her baby alone? James wouldn't do that. Or would he? He had seemed so happy when he knew he was a father, would he really throw it all away now? Winter let out a sigh before snuggling her head under his chin and onto his chest as she kept a hand on her stomach. She would do anything to protect this baby. She knew her scent must still mask James on her from the baby. Ⓙαмεs watched helplessly as Natalie paced back and forth, so clearly hurt. He had to talk to her, he had to go after her. She needed someone to be there, but he wasn't sure who would be. He doubted that she wanted him around, but he was going to be there anyway. As Natalie turned away from them, he knew she was trying to hide her feelings. He watched with pain in his blue eyes as she stormed off, needing to go after her. But Winter was here with him right now, and he couldn't leave her here either. He was stuck between the two faes. They both needed him right now. "I don't know but...Winter..." He stopped for a moment, trying to find a way to say this right. "I don't want to leave you here, it the last thing I ever want to do, but I need to go after her." He said, hoping she would understand. His fingers drew circles on her stomach as he got lost in his thought again. He knew he belonged with Winter, but a piece of him still wanted Natalie. Wanted to love her and help her. It was amazing that Winter was pregnant, with his child, but what if she wasn't? Would he have really gone back to her so quickly, and so easily? Maybe his paternal instincts were just taking over. His need to protect what truly belonged to him. All of this was just confusing him more. He didn't know what was real anymore.

Winter felt her heart begin to beat faster and felt more kicks. She knew she shouldn't be stressing out because it might hurt the baby but she was so scared. She was confused and hurt and scared. Sure she was happy with being in James' arms but who knew if he wanted her as much as she wanted him. She felt tears well up in her eyes as he told her he didn't know. She knew he wanted to go after Natalie but that only made Winter angry because when he had dumped her for Natalie he didn't come to see her and help her. Winter shook her head trying to stop the tears from coming as she sat there with him and listened to what he said next. Why was Natalie so special that he needed to go after her but when Winter was hurt like that he didn't go after her. Winter fought back hard against the tears threatening to fall from her precious purple eyes as she sat up and looked into James' blue eyes feeling the baby kick more. The blue haired fae's heart was racing as she tried to calm down, for herself, James and their baby. There was no way she could stay in this cave alone but if James wanted to chase after Natalie then she would. "I-I guess. I can't really stop you..." She told him finally giving into her tears as one fell down her cheek. She turned the other way wrapping her arms around her knees. If there were any leeches that in here Winter would have to just let them get the emeralds or run out into her territory. She wasn't sure what would happen to their baby if she shifted, and she really didn't want to find out. Winter took deep breaths closing her purple eyes trying to calm herself down. Ⓙαмεs felt a sharp pain in his chest seeing the pain written on her face. He wanted to stay, he really did, and he knew that she wanted him to. But he had to go. He closed his eyes as she spoke and pulled away, standing up slowly. "I promise I'll come back." He whispered, crouching down to kiss her forehead gently. He lingered there for a moment before standing back up and taking a few steps back. He shifted into his wolf form, landing on his large black paws. He padded over to her slowly, nuzzling his head against her gently, a low, sad whine vibrating his throat. He pressed his large wet nose against her cheek softly before backing up again, looking at her quickly before darting off. I promise Wimter. I'm coming back this time. He told himself determinedly. Last time he had left her to go after Natalie, he came back to tell her he was alpha before disappearing again. His ears flattened against his head, his black claws tearing up the ground as all those memories came to the surface, a low growl escaping him. He wouldn't let that happen again. He exited the caverns quickly, taking off after Natalie's scent. He wasn't letting her get away so easily. He didn't want her to wallow in her pain. That wouldn't make things any better for her. ~EXIT James~

The blue haired fae wanted to believe him. She really wanted to believe her past mate but for some reason she was doubting his promise. He had made so many promises with her when they were together and he broke them all. Now he was making another promise. Was he going to keep this one or continue to throw all of his promises away and hurt the already bruised beta? She wondered where Collin was. She wanted to talk to him. She needed to talk to him. Badly. When I need you I can never find you and when I don't need you you're always with me. She thought sighing a little bit. Sure, she had gotten close to the beta male. Pretty close to him, close enough to tell him everything but her feelings for James never left. It was like her heart was always trying to tug her away from everything to find James and tell him every moment how much he meant to her. Winter watched as he went into his wolf form and nuzzled her. She scratched behind his ear and gently ran her hand through his black fur hearing the whine coming from him. Winter let a soft smile escape her lips as he pressed his nose against her cheek wiping off the moistness on her cheek from his wet nose as she watched him leave. her smile quickly faded when he did as she sat there, her arms wrapped around her knees while her back was against the beautifully shiny emerald walls. She sighed closing her purple eyes gently taking in deep breaths. Everything was happening so quickly. Even if James picked her, what would happen with their positions? Winter didn't want to challenge Natalie for Alpha female. Not because she was scared it was just because she didn't want to fight her. As much as the fae's clashed Winter did care about her. She would have suggested to James that he stayed here while she went to talk to Natalie but she thought better of it. The black haired fae completely hated her. It didn't feel like a new feeling either. It seemed that most wolves hated Winter but she didn't know why. She wasn't as cold as Natalie was! Winter let a tear roll down her cheek but her face remained emotionless as she let it fall backwards resting on the wall. It hurt to know that the only person who cared for her was James and maybe Collin, she couldn't be sure but Collin was supposed to be her mate and James dumped her and still claimed to want her. What if she wasn't having this baby? Would he still want her as much? Was it mostly the baby that he wanted? Winter sighed opening her purple eyes once more watching as the emeralds all around her shined in the sunlight and seemed to dance in the suns rays, It made her smile but only faintly before it disappeared. She put a hand on her stomach to feel the baby was calm now like Winter was. Maybe when this baby was old enough Winter would just let herself fall in combat so her daughter could take the beta position. The blue haired fae just zoned out. If the baby was a boy James would be all over it. Winter really hoped and wished for a girl. To be her baby, learning from her and learning valuable lessons. The only thing that would be questionable that would be in her life was her father. What if he did go crawling back to Natalie and stayed there with her? Maybe she would just give in and loose her heart. Maybe fall into Collin's arms. Sure James probably wouldn't like it but it would only be karma for what he did to her. Winter wanted to find Collin so she could talk to him while James was worried about Natalie. She looked at the ground. Would James understand if she left to find him? No he would probably get pissed off. Winter sighed before tipping her head back and letting out a howl. Maybe he was nearby. If not then Winter would just have to deal with being alone until James came back. Great. A huge, strong brown wolf loped into the cave. His heart broke as he left Natalie, but he knew she needed to talk to James and that he wasn't exactly wanted around. At the mouth of the cave, Collin's bright golden eyes seemed to glow in the scarce lighting. He hated himself for leaving Natalie, but he knew Winter would need someone while he alpha was off trying to be mister perfect again. He padded into the cave, his head dropping as he heard the howl of a broken heart near. The gold patterns on his face and shoulders seemed to glow in the green light, along with his golden eyes. Collin neared Winter and sat at her feet, resting his head gently on the rock at her side. He didn't know what to say to her. He knew she loved James and he was just a mutt to her, but he wanted to comfort her. He cared about her. You deserve better... Someone that won't abandon you and your bundle, he told her softly, gently nudging her belly. He thought, somewhere in the back of his head, that the baby had kicked his nose. It was probably just his imagination. The wolf hopped up next to her, his dark fur glinting green-ish in the emeralds' reflections. He gazed around, a bit in awe. He never had spent much time in here- it was too bright a place to sleep. It amazed him that the rocks could be so beautiful. Raw beauty...

Winters attention turned as she saw the familiar figured of Collin padding over to her. She smiled slightly. So he had heard her howl? She knew Collin probably didn't like her as much as James but Winter couldn't help but feeling that Collin was there for her more then James had ever been. Sure, she had mated with the male but Collin had comforted her for so many nights when Winter couldn't sleep and had nightmares. When he rested his head near her side she reached out a hand to scratch his ear gently before hearing him speak. Winter had thought the same thing for a while now but when James had just kissed her not too long ago it had felt right. Though like she was always taught; When things seem too good to be true, they probably are. Maybe Winter had made a mistake with James. It would just be much better for the pack if things from the past were erased and they all acted how they were supposed and were with who they were supposed to be with. It killed Winter inside to think that but there was nothing she could think that her and James could do to be together. Unless someone switched positions, but she doubted that would ever happen. When he nudged her belly and let out another gentle smile before watching him look around at the caves and hopping up next to her. "I guess you're right...But how do you know about..." She tilted her head slightly at him. Only James and Natalie knew about that. Unless Collin had. Oh, of course, he had probably been with Natalie before he came here. Winter knew the male was attracted to the fae and she knew she couldn't say much because of her and James but Collin would be in trouble if he really fell for the b!tchy alpha female. There was also the problem that not many wolves liked the beta female but she actually did care about the pack. Winter sort of hoped that Collin didn't hate her. That would just suck, but if he always tried comforting her why would he hate her? Or was it just to shut her up? You don't think I'm that stupid, do you? Natalie didn't have to tell me, he replied to her, still grinning. He shifted into his human form, still without shirt or shoes, and gently snaked an arm around her shoulders, bringing her close in a tight hug. He knew he wasn't James and she wasn't Natalie. But he also knew that Natalie liked James a lot- maybe even loved him. The beta male didn't know her feelings towards him, but it didn't really matter. "You don't have to pretend, with me. You can pour your heart out and I won't judge you," he said quietly, feeling the smirk on his face slowly fade. When he chuckled her eyes just stared at his cerulean ones about ready to zone out but he spoke before she could do so. Winter couldn't help but look away for a second. It was that obvious? She sighed before looking back at him as he shifted back to his human form. Why did he have to look so good shirtless? Winter felt as if he could hug her as tight as he wanted to but she wouldn't care. Why did she have to feel so confused about her feelings? This was so wrong but she didn't want her pack mates to be confused on who's alpha and such, so if it was what was the right thing to do, Winter would reluctantly be with Collin. Maybe he was right, James didn't deserve her and the baby if he abandoned her like so. Plus who knew if he would really be coming back anyway? Winter was beginning to do what she should have done a long time ago. She hugged him back her arms wrapped around his torso before she heard him speak again. She felt her cheeks become a darker shade of pink and a smile crossed her pale face before he let go of her. "Thanks Collin. I kind of think I should take your advice but I feel like I just can't shake off my feelings for James." She told the beta male pressing against him and resting her head on his bare shoulder. "I just feel like I should have done a while ago what I feel like doing now. Getting over him and.." She would have finished and told Collin that she would gladly be with him but she decided against it for some reason just sitting there staring at the shiny emerald walls. She was being torn apart bit by bit.
