Lucilius shifted as the morning came and opened his eyes. He turned to look at the once empty side of the bed to find his mate there. He yawned quietly. He was still very tired. He rolled onto his mates chest and let his mind wander as he shut his eyes again. He listened to his heart beat and felt his chest rise and fall with his breathing. His mind thought about yesterday, and he remembered that because of the excitement he had not hunted.

"Good morning." He whispered, he took in a deep breathe before sitting up and stretching. He yawned again and rubbed his eyes. He leaned back and kissed his mate with a bright smile crossing his lips. He giggled before hoping off the bed. "I'm going the take a shower then I'm off to hunt. I kinda forgot to eat yesterday." He made his way toward the bathroom. The waterfalls back to their calm state throughout the house creating soothing and calm noises.

Lucilius turned on the shower. Steam flew into the air. He had this habit of taking hot showers. He stepped in and placed his body underneath the steaming water. The tension in his body loosened and calmed. He ruffled up his sandy beige hair beneath the water to get it water. He got the soap and started scrubbing himself down to get rid of the dirt from the training ground yesterday.

Lucilius smiled as he admired his mate. Falling into his embrace he place his head between his mate's neck and shoulder. His hands trailed down his mate's chest pouting slightly at his scars. "You've endured many hardships during your mission my mate. The number of scars placed on you are more than which you've left with." He looked up at his mate kissed him beneath the jaw line. He ran his lather of soup over his mate's body gently for some of the scars seemed more recent than others. Lucilius ran his hand through his mate's hair allowing it to be soaked. He smiled missing this time that him and his mate had lost. He placed a soothing kiss on his mate's lips.

Lucilius smirked slightly, "Good because I need you alive and well." He giggled softly and then began washing his own hair. His wavy hair lost in the lather of the shampoo. He dunked his head under the running water to rinse it off then shook out his hair splatter droplets of water everywhere. He giggled again and pushed his hair back.

"I'm not quite certain." Lucilius pause to think, "Prufalas has mated with a new male since the last Alpha male passed away. If they aren't in the training fields I would suppose they would be in their chambers which you probably wouldn't want to approach now." He step out and reached for a towel drying himself off. "Don't be in such a hurry my mate. The Alphas are most likely aware of your return."

"Not at all." Lucilius stepped into the room only to kiss his mate passionately. He sprinted out the door and embraced his passion heading out to the hunting grounds.

Out in the forest surrounding the Elite grounds Lucilius raced through the forest waiting for even the faintest scent of food to pass him by. His stomach was lunging for anything to consume. Catching the scent of elk. Lucilius paused and raced toward the direction. He knew his mate would stay close. As the scent grew stronger Lucilius slowed until he began to stalk the herd he just found. A low growl began forming. He moved slowly looking for just the right angle to lunge. His growl erupted as he pounced out of the bushed and onto one of the elk's backs. They all began scattering with panic.
