"Oh! the book, yes..... let me see...." he said, looking through his messenger bag. "And the problem: THE rainbow dash just found Eclipse here, and he doesnt want to be turned to stone, like Discord. His childhood friend." he said, still looking through the bag. "A-ha!" said Dark Freeze, picking up the book. He handed the book over to Brisk. "I hid because the bloodline I come from, uses elemental powers. Me? I control the cold, and relentless power of Ice, and the powerful, yet frightening Darkness. So I hid." he said, scratching at the ground with his hoof. He then noticed that one of his books had fallen out. "Uh-oh. Cant lose that." said Dark freeze, putting the book back in his bag. It was grey with a Chrome finish, and a Leather texture.

"You have it with you? Wonderful!" Brisk took the book eagerly, skimming through the pages as quickly as she could. "Do you have any idea who wrote this?" She smiled, feeling blessed to have met not just one, but two completely facisnating creatures in just one day. "Powers of darkness and ice, that is beyond cool! Uh, no pun intended." Brisk laughed, handing the book back over to Dark Freeze. "So do you intend on staying in hiding Freezy?"
Starshine turned to Eclipse, her eyes widened in horror. "Childhood friend?! So you did know Discord personally!" Starshine still wasn't sure whether or not to trust the Draconequuis, and this newest revelation only made her more unsure. "I guess I really shouldn't be too surprised; I mean, it's not like there's a lot of your kind running around in Equestria..." Star put this new piece of information out of her mind, concentrating instead on what else Freezy had said. "So Rainbow Dash saw Eclipse a little bit earlier and he's afraid that now he'll be turned to-" She stopped mid sentence, gasping outloud as what she had said fully sunk in on her. "Wait! Rainbow Dash saw you and ran off to tell someone? Ah hell, that means she's gonna bring Twilight back here!" Starshine rubbed her forhead in frustration, sighing heavily. "Thanks a lot Eclipse! Out of all the ponies that you could have been seen by, it had to be one that would bring her into this..."
Brisk rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Oh grow up Star, I swear you act more like a filly now than you did when you actually were one."

((Sorry to keep everypony waiting, I was on vacation and couldn't reach a computer.))
He shuddered and began to pace in circles around the ponies. "Okay, so I haven't always kept the best company... I know this forest like the back of my hand. You don't all have to get involved if it'll be trouble, I can probably hide in here for a hundred years before anypony can find me." He could sense Starshine's distrust, and knew that Freezy's little comment about his association with Discord hadn't helped. "But it's getting late, and the Everfree forest is three times as dangerous at night. Whaddya say we sleep here, and I'll be outta your manes by morning?" He snapped his fingers, and three bamboo huts grew out of the ground, complete with palm frond beds and a bunk bed for Starshine and Brisk.

Starshine eyed Eclipse curiously, "Out of our manes by morning eh? That certainly is a different tune than the one you were singing earlier..." She studied his face, he looked nervous, almost frightened even; Starshine smiled. "Eclipse, my friend, you've got yourself a deal!" She trotted eagerly the newly erected huts, feeling exhausted from the day's exploits. Brisk meanwhile, stayed outside with Eclipse and Dark Freeze.
She turned to the Draconnequuis, understanding him a little better now than she had a few minutes before. "I'm sorry about your loss, I can see why you don't trust our Princesses..."Brisk wanted to say something a little more comforting, but nothing else came to mind. Finally, she decided to change the subject. "As for you leaving tomorrow, I was wondering if it'd be alright if I could join you? I am still trying to map this forest afterall, and being able to stay with someone would be a lot easy on me than having to trek back and forth every day." She smiled, hoping Eclipse would let her tag along. Just then, Starshine popped her head out of one of the huts and called back to them.
"You guys gonna stay out here all night, or what?"
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Brisk looked back up at Eclipse, "Think about it, okay?" She turned away and began to walk up to the hut, rejoining her sister.

Eclipse smiled a little when Brisk tried to console him, but it was short-lived. After everyone had gone to bed, he sat down on a rock and began to think. The only reason I was going to force them to stay was because they would give me away... But now Brisk wants to stay? snapped his fingers as an idea came to him. Well, it would be easier to just fulfill her desire and she'll leave, right? A painting canvas and easel appeared in front of him and he quickly set to work with his crayons. Within the hour, a detailed map of the forest, in beautiful oil paints, stood in front of him. At the bottom were the words, "Consider it my apology for imprisoning you..."
Pleased with his work, he walked over to his bamboo hut, which spontaneously folded into a suitcase, gave a final smile towards where his new friends were sleeping, and whispered, "outta your manes by morning." before teleporting away.

Dark Freeze happily trotted inside the tent and started to fall asleep; but before he could, he had in idea. 'Three times more dangerous?' he thought. ''Putting up a sheild would do good.' He took out his book from his messenger bag, and quietly recited the spell to put sheilds up. Now nothing could go in or out. When Eclipse teleported, he only teleported a few minutes away. Then, Dark Freeze had an idea in his sleep.
The next Morning, Dark Freeze woke up fairly early, at the crack of dawn ( his usual time), and saw Eclispe. "Hey, Eclipse! I have an Idea" he said. "I havent told you yet, but I have a little friendship with Luna...... and by Friendship, I mean Me and Luna are together, so... yeah. I can help you NOT get turned to stone."
(( You guys dont mind that that Me and Luna are together, and the sheild, do you??))

"Ohhhh, my head..." Eclipse groaned as he sat up. He had slammed into the shield and been knocked unconscious, and his briefcase was impaled on one horn. "What? An idea? That's not half bad..." He reached up and pulled the briefcase off of his horn. "So... you're dating the princess? Impressive, Freezy!" He stood up and began to walk out of the camp, "Well, if you could excuse me for just a moment, I have to-" but was cut off as he slammed face-first into the shield again. ((I'm assuming the shield is invisible.)) "Go... to the bathroom..." he slowly slid down, like a child pressing his face against the window.
OOF! OUCH! There was a sound like a huge gong above them as Rainbow Dash slammed into the shield, too.What the hay? Lemmie at him! Lemmie at him!
"That's Rainbow Dash, isn't it?" Eclipse asked quietly. "I don't have to go to the bathroom anymore..." He immediately began teleporting all around the camp, trying to give them a moving target, until he finally teleported under Starshine and Brisk's bunk bed, quivering below like a jell-o sculpture.
Draconequus, come out now and tell us who you are! Celestia stomped her hoof and the shield shattered like glass, and she, Luna, and the rest of the Ponies, all fell to the ground. There was a flash of light from Brisk and Starshine's hut as Eclipse teleported away, and everything became silent.

Starshine was jostled awake by some unknown insanity. At first it felt like her bed was shaking, then nothing...Only to be followed by a much stronger quake that threw her right out of the bed Eclipse had made for her and Brisk. There was shouting coming from outside, Starshine couldn't quite place the voice (though she was sure that she'd heard the voice from somewhere before) and it was driving her crazy. "The freaking sun isn't even up yet," she grumbled angrily as she stomped to the hut's door. Starshine usually started out each morning cranky, and this wakeup call only infuriated her more. She stormed out of the hut, shouting back at the unknown voice. "Shut up dammit! I'm trying to Sl-sl-sl-sl-Princess?! I-I-I-I didn't know it was you, I thought...Oh man!" Star shut her eyes tight and bowed low, awaiting the Sun Goddess's wrath to fall upon her.
Brisk was a little more on the ball than her sister, and quickly through herself in front of the princess and the hut, extending her wings out as wide as she could in an effort to stop her from advancing. "Princess stop; please! You're gonna scare him away, he means us no harm!"

"Brisk is right! Yes, he may have Discords Chaotic magic, but think of the creative possabilities!" he said. " Eclispe made a Castle out of cards. Cards!" He took out his grey-chrome book, and threw it towards Luna. "Here have a look at this."
Luna took the book and opened it. It showed all the things that Eclipse had done through out the years."Hmmm..... He does have a point." said Luna, still looking at what he had done. Her eyes widened. "Hey sis? Remember when Discord tried to take over the first time? Aperently, Eclipse left Discord as soon as he heard."
"Yes! You understand now that Eclipse didnt do anything wrong! He has control of his magic, except when hes stressed or nervous. Rainbowdash was just at the wrong place at the wrong time." said Dark freeze.

Celestia picked up the book, not even noticing Starshine and Brisk because she was so involved in what she was seeing. So, you're saying that he has no malicious intent?
I don't think so. Rainbow Dash interjected. Once Discord's ally, always Discord's ally...
I wouldn't be so sure, Rainbow... Twilight argued, finally stopping her silent fits of laughter from Starshine's reaction. You nearly helped Discord win, Eclipse has just been hiding...
You've gotta be kidding me! I was under a spell! And besides, She was cut off as a loud crack rang though the air, like a gunshot being fired.
There was an explosion of Rainbow lightning a mile or so away as Eclipse began to lose control. "YEEEOOOWCCHH!!" Like a ballistic missile, he flew up into the air, rear end smoking heavily, and finally crashed down in the middle of the clearing.
He looked up with a groan and saw Celestia's hooves. He began to shake uncontrollably again. "umm,, heh heh, Good morning, Princesses... Lovely weather isn't it?" He stuck out his arm to snap his fingers and teleport again, but cried out in pain and cringed as he saw white bone sticking out from the arm with the eagle claw. "Ah, that's not good... Arm's broken.. oh....boy." He finally passed out at the sight of his own blue blood.

(alright cool, can I take AJ and Fluttershy? I don't wanna have too many characters, but I plan on dropping Brisk soon)
Starshine carefully left her bow, letting out a sigh of relief once she realized that Princess Celestia was not about to punish her. She looked over at the group of ponies; it seemed everypony who mattered was there: Celestia, Luna, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and of course Twilight Sparkle. Starshine frowned, her gaze lingering a moment on her cousin before looking back to Celestia and Dark Freeze.
Applejack bit her lip, looking to Celestia and then to Dark Freeze. "Maybe we have been a might hasty Aar Dee," she replied, pronouncing Rainbow Dash's nickname with her typical country drawl. "I mean, we ain't really got any proof that he's a villain do we? Besides, it's been more than a thousand years, hasn't it? Surely he would have attacked at some point if he wanted to harm us." The next moment a loud crack tore through the air, and with it; Eclipse himself. Everypony gasped, it hadn't seemed to register with him yet, but it was apparent to the others that his fall had broken his arm pretty badly.
"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!" The normally timid, scared of her own shadow, Fluttershy was quick to jump into action. She wasn't a very confident pony, but her ability to take care of animals was something she took pride in, and this kind of injury was right up her ally. She approached the unconscious Draconnequuis, any sign of fear she may have had was virtually gone. "If anypony has a first aid kit, it would come in handy now. I need to make a sling, and something to close the wound would be nice..." She barely spoke over a whisper, all eyes were on her as she went about carefully setting the bone in place, but she didn't notice. It was messy work, and required her full concentration; luckily for her, the creature made no effort to struggle against her.
Brisk ran back inside the hut that she and Starshine had stayed in, and frantically searched for her saddle bags. "Where did I put them...Augh! Think Brisk, think!" Out of the corner of her eye, something caught her attention. It was a canvas; on it was a beautifully painted map of Everfree. "Eclipse? You..." She trailed off, feeling tears sting her eyes. Brisk shook her head, remembering that she didn't have time to get sidetracked. She finally found her saddlebags, and after taking out her first aid kit she ran out of the hut to rejoin the other ponies. Brisk walked up to Fluttershy, and dropped her supplies next to her. "It's not a lot, but it's all I have." She took a few steps back, giving the pony room to work.

"Here, I'll Help you." said Dark freeze. He ran in next to Fluttershy and took out his book. "Remember, this will only heal him for a little while, so you can put the bandages." he flipped the pages to the healing spell. "Luna, We're gonna need some concentration here." Thankfully, Luna replied with the quickest answer she could give and put up her sheild.

It wasn't long before Eclipse's arm looked fine and was nestled snugly into a sling. He had transitioned from being totally unconscious to a deep sleep, now snoring peacefully on the ground.
Rainbow Dash, meanwhile, had simply been looking down and pawing at the ground awkwardly.
What's wrong, Rainbow? Twilight asked, walking over to her.
I feel like this is all my fault... I got worked up, called in everyone, and now somepony got hurt for no good reason...
Rainbow, you only did what any of us would have done! Besides, we all agreed to this, it wasn't just your fault!
I still feel responsible. Princess Celestia? Princess Luna? The proud pegasus knelt before the royalty. With your permission, and Fluttershy's guidance, I'd like to take him into my care until he recovers...
Celestia smiled and nodded. I think that is a great idea, Rainbow Dash, and a true display of responsibility. What do you think, Luna?

With Eclipse's arm stitched, bandaged, and in a sling, Fluttershy's work was done. She let out a deep breath and smiled. "There you go. Now as long as you take it easy you should be feeling better in no time." Fluttershy turned around to see all eyes on her. She blushed brightly and quickly resumed her spot next to her friends, eager to get out of the limelight.
Applejack tilted her head, not sure what to make of Rainbow Dash's statement. "Are ya sure ya wanna take on that responsibility Rainbow? I mean, he does eat a little bit more than that turtle of yours. And what if he's still sore at ya fer earlier? There's no guarantee that he'll even wanna stay with ya."
Starshine listened to Rainbow Dash's plans, and quickly butted in. "Now wait just a minute! Why should you be the one that gets to keep him? Me and Brisk were the ones that found him! I want him!"
"Starshine! Eclipse isn't an object, you can't claim him! If she wants to help him recover than that's her business. Honestly, you can't even take care of a goldfish much less a full grown draconequuis!"
"Yeah but-"
"Whatever you're gonna say, save it for somepony that wants to hear it." Brisk sighed; she had had quite enough adventure for one outing and decided to take her leave. "Look, if you wanna stay here and work something out with Ms. Dash than be my guest, by I'm going. I'll tell mom and dad what happened, so don't worry about them." Brisk walked back into the hut, taking the painting that Eclipse had made her and then prepared to depart. She retrieved her first aid kit and bowed to Celestia and Luna before looking at the other ponies and saying her goodbyes. "Princess; princess. Dark Freeze, it's been a pleasure meeting you." Brisk wanted to ask Dark Freeze more about his mysterious chrome book that had somehow shown Luna the things that Eclipse had done, but knew that now was not the best time or place; instead she bit back her curiosity, content for the time being. She looked at Rainbow Dash; besides Twilight, Brisk really didn't know the other holders of the Elements of Harmony but wished them the best all the same. "Goodbye Twi, and good luck you guys, keep me updated so I know what's going on with him!" With that, she took to the sky, heading off towards her parent's home.

"Hey wait!" said Dark freeze. Princess Luna tossed him the book, but it now had princess Luna's mark on it. Dark Freezefliped open the book and looked back at Starshine and Brisk. "I can teleport you guys there." His horn started to glow a bright blue, and in a flash they were back at their parents house.
