 Out of nowhere, a tall and skinny girl with black hair and two swords attack the beast with hardly any fear. The beast whimpered and squirmed through the pain and luckily got away. Ushio had been observing the whole entire fight, though what bothered her the most was the fact that the beast had only red eyes and no reason to kill. Ushio didn't understand, but she felt as if that beast was only looking for something, as if it was looking for it's own child. However, Ushio wasn't for sure. "Are you alright? Anything broken?" The black headed girl asked. Ushio immediately jump at the sound of her voice, couldn't tell if it was high or low, it was very subtle. (She's beautiful, though it's hard for me to trust anyone, unless they lead me...) her thoughts once again trailed off and remembered the taller girl asked if she was alright. she slightly nodded and sat up on the ground in a lady-like position, failing to realize her shin was cut horizontally and bleeding. Luckily her white dressed was only stained by the dirt she was laying on. (Who is she?) She sked herself, but afraid to speak.
Looking up at the girl with weak golden-brown eyes, she grabbed the hand that was held out to her. Her pulse was striking through her veins, and her body was shivering still from the fright of her life disappearing without a trace. Not wanting to speak loudly, Ushio whispered extremely softly, as if she was talking to herself, but loud enough to be heard and said "Who are you?" Quickly looking down and away as her shyness took over her muscles, she had a quick shiver roll up her spine. (Why am I talking to her, I know she saved my life, but she can't be trusted. I mustn't lose sight of what I am after.) Ushio remembered.

 Shang-Hai Yao Others will fall. . . But I shall Rise. Shang-Hai helped up the girl, but her efforts were only rewarded by shyness. Shang-Hai could barely hear the girl, but managed to catch what she said. "My name is Shnag-Hai. What's your name?" She noticed that the girl was shaking. Was she that scared? Shang-Hai didn't want the girl to feel uncomfortable or anything, so she put on her brightest smile. She wanted the other to know that even thought she was a stranger, she cou;d trust her. And that she would help the young girl if she needed help.
Shang-Hai noticed the wound on her knee and jumped at the sight of the blood. Luckily for her, Mikkel was taking Medical Courses in school. She looked up into the tree and gazed at Mikkel and Alexander. "Mikkel! I need your help for a moment!" Hopefully, Mikkel will be able to stop the bleeding. {{OoC:}} . . .Life is like a

 Mikkel Kohler Im hungry. . . When are we gonna eat? Mikkel nearly peed his pants when Shang-Hai jumped out of the tree. He was about to yell after her, until he saw her save that girl. Shang-Hai always had somthing towards children. She would always help them no matter what. When he heard his name being called he jumped out of the tree and walked over to the two. He knew why he was here when he saw the injury. He kneeled down beside the little girl and started to clean her wound with some medical cloth he had. "You cut this pretty deep." {{OoC:}}

Ushio allowed the newcomer to clean her wound, though she wasn't certain about the cloth itself. "You cut this pretty deep," the newcomer explained, and Ushio only nodded and agreed. (Why me? I don't think these people would understand why that beast was harmless.) Ushio thought. "Thanks," She whispered extremely quiet, hoping not to be heard. "One thing, I don't usually talk to strangers, but don't think of me as a little kid." She spoke a little louder than whisper but still so quiet. Ushio started looking around and started to get concerned. "This place, looks as if someone could hold rituals here." She whispered hoping she was unheard again. (I honestly need to start speaking up, if not, I could die out here.) Ushio thought. (Another thing, If I don't learn about people, they have the advantage to destroy me, only if they wanted to.) Ushio continued considering the fact that her voice may be useful in the future.

Mikkel Kohler Im hungry. . . When are we gonna eat? Mikkel looked up when the girl mentioned something about rituals. He didn't catch anything else that the girl said, because she was too quiet. He took out some bandage that he always kept with him if anyone was injured, and started wrapping it around the wound. "Did you say rituals? Why would people need to use rituals anyway?" {{OoC:}}

 Alexander Edlstein Why Hello There~ Alexander followed Mikkel and Shang-Hai moments later. He jumped out of the tree and landed in a bush. He was never too good and physical things. He proceeded over to the crowd and gave the new girl a smile. "Now what do we have here? Who are you my precious?" When Alexander heard Mikkel say something he looked at the other male. "Well that's a stupid question. The people here are worshiping their god, duh."

Ushio allowed the guy who they all called Mikkel to finish wrapping her leg with white bandages. Out of the corner her eye, she saw another person jump out of the tree that the other two had came from and fell into a bush. (Well that was quite an entrance, he must be very clumsy most of the time, though I have no room to talk.) Ushio thought as she looked at her leg that was wrapped tight. The newcomer came over and aknowledge her. "Did you say rituals? Why would people need to use rituals anyway?" Mikkel had asked when the newcomer was on his way, though apparently he heard and replied saying "Well that's a stupid question. The people here are worshipping their god, duh."
Ushio decided to walked to a tree that was a to the left of them, and she studied it for a second. (Nothing. If I were right, then these trees would have a marking creating that worshipping field on the ground.) Ushio thought. She started walking around the circumfrence of the opening while examing the trees for anything. Finally she stopped at a thin tree and in the center of the side facing the center of the circle, Ushio had discovered a character in a different language marked on the tree with white paint. It was very thin writing, though the purpose of the writing must've been huge. She turned around and saw the group of people that was standing almost in the center. She looked past them and saw another thin tree, almost like the one behind her. Then, where she was standing, looked around the circumference and saw three more thin trees and studied where they were. "Those thin trees create the five points of a star, something that's usually painted on the ground for worshipping. I need to ask you guys to look at those trees and see if you can find white markings facing towards the center of this open area. It may give us some answers." Ushio had spoken loudly enough as her brain started turning gears. (I wonder, if they painted them on those trees instead of the ground, these worshippers are hiding their faith. Maybe because their faith isn't accepted here where they are, or it could be that this worshipping isn't accepted 'cause it deals with black magic.) Ushio thought thoroughly as she waited for the groups reply.

Hearing Shang-Hai's excitement burst through the forest, Ushio cringed at the thought of an "adventure". "This isn't just an adventure full of games, I will give you a very important piece of information that everyone needs to be aware of." Ushio lowered her voice though it was still at a whisper level. "These marking may be worship of anything dark and evil, whether it be the devil or some other strong beast," Ushio started to walk towards the group before they all started to leave for the search of the white markings. "In fact, whoever created this pentagram is probably those who are chasing me to murder me." Ushio shivered as the image of an over grown bear with an even more monstrous rider on it's back skimmed through her head. Unsure of what the rider looked like, it definitely wasn't human. "So don't be so reckless and get any of us killed, okay." Ushio's voice softened as she turned around.

Shang-Hai Yao Others will fall. . . But I shall Rise. Shang-Hai stopped when Ushio started to talk. She listened carefully, but didn't think that these markings had anything to do with the small girl. But she could be mistaken. "Oh, Alright." Shang-Hai pouted a bit when Ushio said 'So don't be so reckless and get any of us killed.' Did the girl distrust her that much?
Shang-Hai turned around and proceeded towards the markings with Alexander and Mikkel. The two boy's hands were still laced with her's. But she didn't care.
"She thinks I'm stupid enough to get everyone killed...!" She ranted in a soft tone, making sure that no one could hear it. She froze and quickly turned around to face Mikkel and Alexander. She gripped their hands a bit tighter and looked the two in the eyes, with a sad expression. "Do you guys think I'm stupid?" {{OoC:}} . . .Life is like a

Mikkel Kohler Im hungry. . . When are we gonna eat? "W-what?" Okay did she just ask us if she was stupid? Mikkel took hold of Shang-Hai's hands and pulled her into a hug. "Shang-Hai, your the smartest person I know. And I know a lot of people." He let go of her, all the while still holding onto her hands. He smiled sweetly, and tightened the grip on her hands. "You're not stupid, Shang-Hai. Why wuld you even ask such a question?" {{OoC:}}

Ushio saw Mikkel and Shang-Hai's hug, shrugged, and turned around. (Whatever, their bonds are strong and that just might save their lives if they tag along behind me throughout my whole journey to find it.) Ushio started to day dream again. Suddenly, a flash of bright white light came to her mind, and there it was, inside her head, the thought of feeling the unexpected warmth of an ice cold touch on her palms. (This feeling I miss so much, I can almost breathe it, but I'm so far away.) Ushio hoped with all her might that she'll see her dream come true.
Coming back to reality, Ushio heard a distant crackle of breaking twigs. She jerked her head to the left, then looked at the rest of the group. surprised that no one had heard it other than her, left her curious. "Hey, I say forget the markings, I believe it is time for us to get out of here, and I don't care if you guys tag along with me or not, that's the least of my worries. Though I do suggest you guys get out of here, there's something watching us, and my gut says it's hungry." Ushio said. Taking one last glance at the crowd, she spoke her, what seemed to be, final words towards them "Good luck, stay alive, and I hope for a very long life for you all", Ushio smiled, and took off running as fast as she can.
The only sounds Ushio can hear is the rapid tappings of her bare feet beneath her hitting what seemed to be cement. Unsure of where she is, it has been about thirty minutes ever since she had seen the group of friends and hoped that they are alright and that the beast was chasing after her and not them. (This life of mine, so empty with no meaning, I wonder if this dream of mine I'm searching for, well, will it help me?) Ushio questioned herself. Slowing herself down to a steady walk, she heard only the sounds of her quick ragged breath, and tiny little animal feet pitter pattering around her. (This place seems peaceful enough for me to get some rest, which I definitely need). Finding herself a small area with what looked like a stack of hay, she laid herself down on her back, and closed her eyes. (Well, I hope I wake up in the morning). Ushio fell asleep and started dreaming of the same dream that's been bothering her to find it, the one with the warm touch of ice coldness on her palms.

She grabbed hold of Alexander and Mikkel, yet again, and started to walk towards the place Mikkel, and herself woke up. "Ushio was right. There is something, and we're on it's territory. We must go." Alexander Edlstein Why Hello There~ Alexander looked at his hand that was being held by Shang-Hai. 'She must love holding my hand.' He tightened his grip on the girl's hand, and moved up next to her, so he wasn't being dragged. He moved closer so that he was right up against Shang-Hai. "Anything you say, Darling."

Mikkel Kohler Im hungry. . . When are we gonna eat? Mikkel immediately got jealous when Alexander called HIS girl, 'darling.' He moved behind Alexander, and managed to trip him from behind. When he was on the ground, he grabbed the boy by the neck and held him up. "No one, And I mean NO ONE, goes around calling MY girl 'darling', or anything like that!" {{OoC:}}
