The moment the full code was spoken, the woman took on a soft glow. There was no sound. Not at first. No whirring of gears or sound of circuits, no. Just a soft sound that emanated from her, that accompanied the glow. And then the entire dorm room lit up in a bright blue light. The light itself wasn't harmful. To the contrary, it felt..warm. Soothing. It was like a peaceful calm that descended on an area. It seemed to be some kind of magical aura. And then she spoke. Her voice was soft, but strong. It was a monotone; robotic. She said a few simple words.

"Atma Unit AL-1-Omega online. Five percent. System Diagnostics beginning. Physical infrastructure intact. No imperfections found. Magical output at limited capacity. All limiters reset from previous awakening. Magical library maintained. No corruption. Memory scan beginning...fifty percent..complete. Memory intact. No corruption. Drive Space analysis beginning...complete. Drive space at eighty percent capacity. Total spell capacity: eight hundred spells. Total spells known: Fourty. Breaking down spell list by energy consumption capacity..done. List formed. Primary purpose: Online. Secondary purpose: Online. Physical outer-structure intact. No imperfections found. Optical sensors read optimal. Infrared, magic aura identification, ultraviolet, and long range visual capacities are all online. Range of motion scanning..complete. All motion available. Internal reproductive system: Offline. Production of life impossible at this time. Function blocked. Additional systems: Variable. Combat readiness: twenty five percent capacity. External and Internal Weapons: Intact. Scanning for damage or imperfections..complete. No damage found. Final Diagnostics beginning."

The light slowly faded, and her eyes opened at last. They were an icy blue color, and she sat upright. The motion was slow, and she stood shortly after that. She gazed at Regan, and her eyes showed lights and graphs within, obviously scanning her, as well as the sword she held in her hand.

"Scan complete. Physical structure humanoid. Human base with additional energy and genetic forms. Threat level: D+. Secondary quasi-organic life form scan complete. Physical structure: Various metal alloys with organic neurosystems. Origin unknown. Threat level: B. Further information necessary. High class dark magic ingrained in physical structure. Likelihood of negation through contact: Minimal. Secondary life form relation to primary life form: Confirmed. Sentient tool for primary life form. Station not determined as no interaction has been recorded. Recording. Primary life form's relation to Atma..confirmed. Good morning, Master. I am Atma, short for All-Terrain Multipurpose Antimage Unit, Designation number AL-One-Omega. My primary purpose is a weapon designed to combat and destroy mages and other spellcasters. My weapons for this job are Magic Absorber [Type 3], Genocyber Claw special melee weapons, beam cannons, and a fully operatinoal spell engine. I await your orders."

Terreo blinked and stared with interest. "Well, what do you know? Now I really wish I could remember everything before I got sealed in that tome..." he commented before hearing being called a tool.

"Tool!? I'm what's left of the devil forger, Visus Allat Resosaetsur the 17th's arsenal, for your information! And my name is Terreo! You'd best treat me with respect! " he nearly shouted, seeming peeved at being called a tool. Though he calmed back down immediately afterwards.

"Silence, Terreo. Didn't I tell you to sleep?" She frowns at the sword, narrowing her eyes threateningly before she puts the blade aside. "Now. Sleep." She huffs at the blade before turning back to Atma. "Sounds like you're... mostly ok. From what I understand, you're an... aged being. Yes? An android of some sort, from the looks of things... Not like anything I've ever seen, though." She has a reproductive system, though? I don't think even Cirus could build something like that... Regan looks Atma over once more, seeming thoughtful. "Mnn, I can't just have a magic robot wandering around the school grounds with me... you'll need to blend in, somehow. The easiest way would probably be to register you as a student. But..." She yawns then, rubbing an eye.

"Mnn... I'm too tired to think too much about this, right now. Wonder what the weight limit on these beds is, anyway." Regan rises to her feet, stretching and getting things to take a shower. "Go ahead and familiarize yourself with the room. I'm going to take a shower, then probably go to bed. Though, we can probably talk some before I go to sleep." The young woman moves about the room, in no particular hurry, gathering her shampoos and her pajamas and such. She remembers... she has a roommate. "Mm, can't leave you laying out in the open like this." She picks up Terreo and shoves him under her bed, and puts Arondight next to her bed, against the wall. Terreo'd probably complain, but he's the one with the eyeball in the middle of the pommel.

Atma merely listened, then nodded once.

"Noted. Scanning..complete. Room mapped in its entirety. Greater external structure also scanned. Walls not built to withstand high impact. Underlying structure weak. Class-2 weapon capable of total destruction. Estimate: Unsatisfactory for master's overall protection. Recommend change of environs for greater safety while in a sleeping state."

Probably not what Regan had in mind when she said 'familiarize yourself with the room' but..she was an android. So she was probably going to take everything rather literally. But hell, Chachamaru wandered around the school grounds..and Atma looked less robotic than she did.

Terreo sort of gave Regan a defiant glare for a few moments, boy was she ignorant of what Terreo knew and was capable of on his own. But being put under the bed?!

"Oi! What's with this treatment?! " he complained. "I can change to a different form for you, so get me out from under here! "
PostPosted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 2:47 pm

"Aaah, jeez, fine. Quit whining!" She grabs Terreo from under the bed and puts him next to Arondight. "Just... be more inconspicuous. And don't you dare do anything to Arondight, or I'll have Atma snap your blade." She huffs at the annoying, sentient sword, before turning to the android. "Ah... Not quite what I meant, Atma..." She sighs softly and walks up to her, tucking a loose strand of hair behind the android's ear. Still mesmerized by that perfect beauty she's got going on. Engineered beauty, almost. "Though you may know the building, now, there are things I bet you don't know. For example... where do I keep the bowls? Or silverware? Chopsticks? Hmm~? Now, -familiarize- yourself with the room while I shower. Don't just analyze it." She taps Atma on the nose once before she goes to the bathroom, closing the door behind her and starting her shower.

Terreo rolled his eye before changing shape a bit, making himself looking less demonic and more like a regular sword, as if in a collection.

"Please, I have no interest in it. " he mumbled into the air before shaking a little.

"Atma, while you get better acquainted with this dormitory's contents and such, can you inform me on the spells you currently know? I know a vast amount, possibly enough to make you much more efficient in combat, magic wise."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:10 pm

Well..the thing is, she did sort of scan everything, so she kind of did know where most things were in a general area from the scan itself. But that was irrelevant. She showed no reaction when her hair was messed with, and milled about to look at things as ordered despite it being unnecessary. She did turn her head slightly when spoken to by Terreo. Her mind..if one could call it that, processed the possibilities of telling this creature about her capabilities too much. However, despite his apparent egotism, which she noted was a downfall of several former masters..she didn't calculate a direct danger in giving this information, though she would give it in a way that was more efficient.

"Your knowledge would be irrelevant. I cannot acquire magic through teaching or standard methods. The only way for me to accumulate spells is to be the recipient of them. I absorb spells I do not know into myself. Upon doing so, I gain full knowledge of that spell's ability and am able to cast if if my spell engine is at the necessary capacity. Currently, the majority of the spells I am in possession of are from a class of magic known as 'High Ancient'. Spells that come from a distant time. They are mostly unknown in this world any longer, though it is stated by a former master that they exist in other worlds as well. I do know some spells that have come within the past several thousand years. A list of what I know is meaningless, as the acquisition process is entirely different from information retrieval."

So saying, she walked to the bathroom door, and entered. She stood then next to the shower Regan was in, and simply stood guard. That was her duty after all. It wasn't that she was ignoring Terreo; it was just that her duty took precedence.

Regan hadn't yet climbed into the shower, and her attention draws the Atma as she goes to step in. "Oh, ah... Atma. What're you-... Mn, whatever. Well, as long as you're here, help me wash, would you? I always have a little bit of trouble reaching my back completely, and I hate using that brush... the bristles are far too stiff for my tastes." She smiles softly at the android and steps into the shower, leaving the curtain open for Atma. The water's nice and hot... not that Atma could feel it... or could she? Well, it shouldn't be a bother to her, either way. From the sounds of it, she's tough. A little hot water shouldn't bother her.

"Of course, master. How much pressure would you prefer me to use?"

The outfit she wore retracted then, pulling into the gem on her chest. The gemstone seemed to be part of her chest, and perhaps was some type of device. Most likely it wasn't an obvious weakness; that would be a horrible design flaw. The basic thought would most likely be it served as a control unit for certain external features. Like changing her clothing. A fabrication object, perhaps? Like a mini engine? Who could say. Either way, unclothed she was..well, other than the blue stone in her chest, she looked entirely human. Every bit of her was correct according to what humans would be. The gemstone could even retract back into her skin when not in use, to make her more human seeming. But it hadn't been requested of her, so she left it. Her boots were actually not included in her outfit, and had to be taken off individually.

Her clothing was really waterproof; but she knew that human etiquette generally dictated one did not wear clothing when in a shower or public bath. Therefore, she conformed to that particular rule. It was obviously to raise the comfort level of her master, and seem more human. It wasn't an emotionally conscious decision; it's just what she did according to her duty, and had learned to do before. She actually could 'feel' physical sensations, but she could also choose to ignore them as simple environmental factors. She could feel pain, but there was never a reaction unless in combat. If she damaged herself, she simply learned from the experience. This level of heat was negligible; she was made to withstand magical elements, so some hot water wouldn't bother her. But as she shifted alongside Regan in the shower, and lightly brushed against her, surprisingly, not only did her skin feel..exactly lifelike, but she was also warm to the touch herself now that she was online. Like a real person.

"Pressure?" Regan echos, considering the question. She leans back into Atma subconsciously, after feeling her brush up against her. Warm... She nestles up against her, under the water from the shower head, her tail flicking gently back and forth. As she realizes just what Atma is asking, she frowns softly to herself. She's seen enough anime to know that her answer had better be carefully crafted, or she's in for pain... maybe. Atma seems to know what she's doing, though. "... I'll lean back and you counter-balance me. That aught to be an appropriate amount of pressure." Perfect. That way, it would never be more pressure than necessary to support her upright position... which would never be an excessive amount of pressure. Even if she wanted Atma to carry her, it wouldn't be a painful amount of pressure.

"Whoever made you was very skilled, Atma. You feel like the real deal." She smiles over her shoulder. That's a compliment, right? Right. Totally.

"That so? Lucky for you, I can cast them as well. Though, most are demonic spells, as my origins are from the demonic realms, though time flows differently there. Who knows? I might even know the ones you are able to cast, and I may be even older than you ~" Terreo replied, clearly trying something. Perhaps to gain more approval from Regan to get her to not mistreat him.

"Its up to you though. I've got all the time in the world. "

"Very well, master. I will do as you command."

She used that exact amount of pressure. She was very precise. Her scrubbing was efficient, and slow. It was actually rather comforting. She didn't say anything, or do anything really that a person might do. She wasn't one for starting conversation. That was not her duty. She was going through her memory banks to see what would be the proper thing to do in a shower when aiding someone other than simply aiding. She had a lot to dig through. She had no idea what was appropriate conversation for this time period. She did listen when Regan spoke however, and nodded.

"My master was the finest craftsman in Atlantis. His peers were equally skilled, though his work..myself, was the first. he did not give me the model number 'one' however. He referred to me as the First, and the Last. So I was model number Omega. Many models were made after I was. Eventually, we became viewed as inefficient, and were placed on more dangerous duties. Missions of self destruction, in favor of the mass produced models with more efficient spell engines. Of my sisters, I am one left of two to still remain intact and fully functional. The others are either destroyed, or in disrepair. Like my sisters, I was designed to be able to do anything an Atlantean could do physically, only with improvements. The magiscience of our culture was used primarily to combat the pure magic of our enemy."

She continued washing Regan's back, keeping silent after that, for the most part.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 10:29 pm

Being called master was... interesting. Not sure how she feels about it. She'll leave it for now, she supposes. "Inefficient? How heartless... Mass-produced things tend to be efficient, yes, but they lose the heart and quality of effort put into them. They may be good, but something that is hand-crafted can be great... I bet the mass-produced models weren't as pretty, or as powerful, right? They'd only be any good in war-time... where as you seem like you'd be good to have around, no matter the occasion." Regan smiles over her shoulder, washing her hair while Atma washes her back.

Though, something caught her attention. "Disrepair, you say...? I bet I know a guy who could fix 'em up, if he tried. When I get some free-time, would you want to search for your broken-down sisters? We can bring 'em to my friend and see if he can repair them. Fix 'em up good as new, y'know? He's handy with that sort of thing..."

"We are weapons, Master. That is all we are. While we are capable of performing many other tasks, in the end, we are programmed to do two things. Protect our master, and destroy all threats. In the ancient war, we fought the Lemurians. Our creators labeled them heretics for using magic. This in definition, was the convention of the High Priests alone. The war began because of humans. One side wished to advance the humans to a higher position. Another side wished for them to grow on their own. Skirmishes occured. The war began with the death of a noble. We were created to turn the tide of the war. When we became obsolete, there was no helping it. We became unnecessary. That is the way of machines. I exist to be of service to my master. There is no other existence.

As for repairs to my sisters, that is unwise. They have system degradation. Restoration of their physical form would be possible, but their memories are corrupted. They could be come dangers to the populace at large. No one in existence knows the technological capabilities and intricacies of Atlantean craftsmanship to my knowledge. Even if one did, the original programs are corrupted beyond potential recall. They could certainly be given new programs. But then they would not be the original models. They would lose their purpose. And without purpose, a weapon is useless. They would be inferior at that point. No longer a creation of the great race."

It sounded rather cold in how she said it..but then, she was programmed by that race. It was no surprise she would be programmed to consider them 'always right'. It was a shame, really. She continued to scrub Regan's back, using minimal pressure, though she did say something out of the blue.

"If you are interested master, I could show you Atlantis. As it was saved in my memory. It would require you to leave your body, however, and enter my internal universe."
