SgtElias I'm sorta surprised that no one had mentioned Marti before now. Then again, maybe no one is obsessed enough to remember writer names. sweatdrop I am. crying Yeah, me too. I didn't mention her because she's not one of my favorites. David places before Marti. And, of course, Jane places before all the others to me.

I'm going to have to say in general I loved Marti's work the best. But All hail Joss because he can really make us cry and whither in pain.

OH MY GOD I could go on forever about writers and directors.
Directors: David Soloman! Oh my. Also, hardcore James A Contner. And as much as I hate to admit it, Michael Gershman was pretty good too. He's as dull as wheatabix to listen to (he did an episode commontary) but he knows his stuff.
Writers: Douglas Petrie is amazing. Always does quality work and throws depth and room for interpretation in many episodes. I love Douglas Petrie.
Jane Espenson does many... whatchamacallit... Token episodes. Yeah that's it. It seems like her specialty. Nothing wrong with that, I love Triange in season 6 when Olaf comes for a little rampage.
Drew Goddard I think had a TON of potential. He came in season 7 and did some great episodes. If he had more time to work with the actors and the characters and ideas I think he would have been up with Doug. Petrie.
Drew Z Greenberg and David Greenwalt had some great episodes.
Rebecca Rand Kirshner didn't do many episodes, but I thought she had a real knack for the characters and mushing plot and humor together.
Duh, Joss.
The writers and directors were not in order. Except Petrie is my favorite writer.

Jane Espenson *nods vigorously* It seems to me that she wrote all the funny episodes... anyone else think that?
