"What a horrible night to have a curse." The young man stepped over the threshold of the apartment, letting the door close behind him. The subtle perfume of Mary-Jane danced about him, filling his nostrils. Alex could only chuckle and mutter the only name that came to mind, especially when he heard the unmistakable laugh over the din of gamers in the living room. "Blake."
"Hey, I smell a skunk in here!" He called out, teasing the quintessential stoner of the group as he proceeded deeper into the apartment.
Following Morgan into the living room, he set his black bag beside one of the sofas as he came into the room. It was almost surreal to be here again with some familiar faces. Perhaps, some new ones would show up as well. He scratched his right shoulder with his other hand, running his fingertips over the soft, black, cotton that snugly embraced his torso. After relieving his itch, he sunk his hands into the pockets of his fitted, acid washed, blue jeans and fixed his emerald stare upon the screen Callum was intensely tuned into. Megaman, classic. Personally, Alex was more a fan of the Megaman X series--Zero, specifically.
Jeanina's gentle kiss upon his cheek brought him back to reality, making him flush a little. She must have came in behind him now. Alex almost forgot how affectionate her greetings were. Thankfully, her queries pertaining to Dave's absence caused him to dismiss his momentary awkwardness.
Wait, what? Dave isn't here? How is that even possible? Tuesday nights are events that he has held religiously since he moved into his own place. Hell, they might have even been rituals in Auntie and Uncle's basement when we were in High School. When did they start, anyway? But, still, he's never missed one of these. Where did he go then? Alex shook his head, frowning slightly. Maybe he went to the 7-11.
It was then that another young man walked in, close to his age. He certainly had an interesting way of dressing, what was on his t-shirt? A band? A manga character? It was unrecognizable to him. Alex continued to size the guy up, silently. This must have been a new recruit that Dave picked up along the way. He seemed pretty friendly, high energy even, as he greeted everyone else in the room. The new guy missed him though, but there was little opening for introductions anyway. He'd attempt to introduce himself at the next opening in the conversation. For the moment, he sent a manly nod in the stranger's direction, a simple courtesy would do.
Alex looked back at the television screen, having had his fill of staring down the new guy, to watch Callum enter the password to what was likely the final stage. A gentle laughed escaped him as Callum answered the new guy's question about Dave's whereabouts. Now, that was a wit that he missed dearly. He was right though, because alien abduction was more likely a story than Dave simply ditching them.
"Well we'd best don our tinfoil hats shouldn't we!"
He looked up to find a voice he hadn't heard in a while, Mari. Alex grinned ear to ear when he saw her, realizing how much he missed her too. She made a joke about not being able to hug him because he's getting married and he laughed, especially when she said that she still thinks he is fine.
Good god, I sure missed everybody, he thought, looking from face to face. This was kind of sad, especially since this would probably be the last time he ever came to a party like this. Of course, it would probably still be possible to hang out with some of them once in a while, but never like this again. He knew it, they all knew it. Morgan and Dave, being family, were probably the only ones he'd see on a regular basis now.
Mari's next offer had him considering saying yes, heavily considering it.
"No thanks," he yelled back, politely refusing Mari's offer to the whole room for a glass of wine. "I gotta drive."

 Jeanina Fritz - Roxas
Soon the entire gang besides Dave had assembled. Jeanina waved absentmindedly to Jeff as he passed by, not giving him the usual greeting she gave the guys. Out of the gang, Jeff and Dave were the only two she didn't kiss in greeting, reasons being mostly that they were both ex's of hers and she didn't care to relive those dating days. Mari's arrival made everything much more lively, as well as her greeting of everyone. At her offer of wine, Jeanina held out her hand. "Give me a bottle. I'll finish it for ya," she said. "I think I'll be needing that alcohol." Alex's decline with the excuse of being the driver did make her feel a bit guilty, since she'd be driving home too, if she could help it. 'Ah, well. I can get someone else to drive me.'
Jeanina had noticed Alex's earlier greeting to Jeff, and she realized that they actually hadn't met. It had been a while since Alex had last joined them. Turning to Alex, she said, "You don't know Jeff, do you? My gawd it's been so long since you were last here! What the hell have you been doing? I know Alyssa's pregnant an' all fragile-looking, but you could have visited us at least ONCE in the last year." Not wanting to put Alex through too much of a guilt trip, she added, "Yeah, I know we kinda went overboard that one time you brought her along, so I guess she wouldn't be very eager to come, huh?" In truth, Alyssa was similar to Jeanina. They both weren't very fond of gaming. They'd gotten along quite well. It had just been everyone else and their obsession of the games that had left a bit of a bad impression on Alex's then-fiancee. Jeanina still kept in contact with Alyssa every now and then, but they didn't have very much to talk about.

Jeff had been hunched over Dave's computer, still standing, as he examined readout of the screen. He wasn't sure what program Dave was trying to run, but whatever it was, hadn't even been unzipped properly yet. Jeff reached for the keyboard, but recieved a kurt snap of static electricity against his index finger as it neared the space bar. He recoiled immediately, turning around in time to watch Mari make her enthused entrance.
Jeff, your aftershave is overpowering... You've been smoking again haven't you~ Jeff smiled in response to her jab, tugging his shirt fabric towards his nose to examine the strength of his musk. He shrugged indifferently; he felt overpowering a strong term; it was a cool, softened fragrence, with practically no burning of nose hairs and tear ducts when used in excess, but it didn't make her assumptions any less true; when wasn't he smoking, other than social occassions like these, where courtesy to mixed company took priority over his usual routine. A hippy mired in his habit, through and through, but a happy and thriving hippy nonetheless, Jeff wasn't above putting his toys away for day for the sake of people around. All she had to do was say the word, and she'd have her moment of zen; elsewhere to spare their more conservative friends the awkward embarrasement or flared disdain for the activity in general.
"You know you love it...but you're right; I got all that out of the way back at the house." He said with a grin after she finished, letting his gaze move to Alex. Maybe it wasn't him that truly drew his attenton, but rather who was talking to him, but Jeff realized his glaring faux-pas immediately. He mentally scolded himself for being so unfocused, and inperceptive; he might've blamed it on the weak acid melting away the use of his sensory functions, but normally Jeff's most telling, of very few side-effects, was the sudden boost in social disposition and tact. Any who knew him, Dave and Jeanie especially, knew; a sober Jeff, was a mute Jeff, and whether under the influence or not, Jeff's mental strengths rarely faltered; the only thing the pot gave him was a peace of mind, and a more approachable social veneer. The whiskey and cola mixers on the other hand, they were a different story, and he hoped he be rid of most of them before he wanted too many for himself.. in truth he always preferred the mellow chess-game of THC to the inebriated stumble-fest he participated in when drunk. Still, He was far from the life of the party, but a pleasant disposition and common courtesy typically went a long way, despite what quirks he possessed that might discredit his genuine and honest nature, like taste in ear-shattering music, or enjoying the somehow unacceptable fruits of nature's bounty. Jeff was Jeff; take him or leave him, but he'd do his best to win people over, nonetheless.
Now fully aware of his blunder, Jeff sought to correct his oversight. He glanced once more at the computer, the static shock he'd recieved still playing slightly on the back-burners of curiousty, before shrugging it off and approaching the man who'd offered him a acknowledged nod; up close it was clear now, Jeff's t-shirt was a sort of light-hearted mashup; Jeff's favorte metalcore band's signature skull-logo, re-imagined as a decayed Power-up Mushroom; the caption read: "Your princess is in another tower.", followed by a tiny little portrait hanging off the last word, of the band's guitarist and producer, offering a retrarded grin, in offset positive and negative. The back was a tour schedule for 2007 with the venue he'd visited in Dallas, Texas offset in red. "Jeffrey Allison." He offered, extending his right for a handshake. "I don't think we've met -- and yes..." His face went blank as he endearingly rolled his eyes. "...Allison is a girl's name."
Jeff gave an appologetic glance towards Jeanina; hoping she'd forgive him for the interuption. There had always been a residual tension between them; it could've been expected. Their romantic relashonship had come and gone so long ago; puppy love, high-school sweethearts, however you might put it, Jeff had put it behind him, yet keeping someone at a distance when you'd rather let by-gones be by-gones took a level of mental effort; tension was a given. He offered her a smile before looking back at Alex. "...I'm one of Dave's network buds from way back, which is to say, I've cleaned his clock on enough servers to earn an honored place at his parties."

♥♥♥Morgan Jones♥♥♥If Blake and Jeff were the group stoners, then Morgan was the straight edge. Basically, she didn't smoke, drink, or even eat meat. It wasn't that she felt some moral obligation or anything; it was a purely logical standpoint. One, how could she be herself with a bunch of chemicals in her, and two, if she wanted to commit suicide by poisoning, she'd just put some cyanide in her kool-aid. Of course, policing anyone else's choices was a job she had neither the inclination nor the energy for. Her friends were adults, fully capable of making their own decisions, although if Jeanina had one too many, Morgan would make sure to get her keys and either call her a cab, or have Alex drive her home.
After watching Callum for a minute, everyone else arrived. Morgan smiled as she was embraced by her friends. It was so great to have girlfriends that actually didn't mind that she was kind of a geek. The other girls at her job thought she was weird because she'd rather read a book than a fashion magazine, and because she'd rather discuss computers than whatever celebrity was getting married/getting divorced/having a baby/having an affair/having plastic surgery. These were her people, and Morgan treasured Tuesdays for that reason."Count me out, Mari. Somebody has to stay coherent in case the cops show up," Morgan said with a laugh. "Anyway, I say we get this party started. If Dave wants to miss his own party, that's his business." Morgan wasn't too worried about Dave. In her mind, Dave was almost as invincible as Alex. Nothing bad could ever happen to either of them. Reluctantly leaving Callum's side, as distracted as he was, she headed back to where Jeff, Blake, Hannah and her brother were crowded in front of Dave's computer."So, what's going on? What's he got planned for tonight?" She saw the emulator and her eyes lit up. Then she saw the weird vortex. 'Man, Dave picks the oddest screensavers' she thought, and then, 'I wonder if he's got Chrono Trigger on there.' Chrono Trigger was, hands down, Morgan's favorite game. Of course, it wasn't really game night material, being a one-player RPG, but Morgan really sucked at racing games and shooters, so when the others got embroiled in a tournament of one of those, most of the time, Morgan would pull out her DS and play once she got knocked out of the first round, as usual. Chrono Trigger was one of her few consistent interests, and though she was prone to cycles of enthusiasm and inattention with other things, Chrono Trigger, as the first game she'd ever beaten, had a special place in her heart. She'd played it enough to get each of the thirteen endings at least twice. "So, what do you say we try it out until Dave gets back?"

"What a horrible night to have a curse." It was Jeanina's perceptiveness, in regards to Jeff, that made him grin sheepishly. No, they had not met. Now, however, the opportunity for introduction had presented itself. He felt his hand pull from his pocket, so as to reach out and shake Jeff's hand. Alex had not yet extended his hand and initiated the introduction when Jeanina immediately shifted the conversation's gears.
Alex could only smile as he heard her words. He could have visited more, he wished he did. Yet, work, home life, the wedding, and everything else just piled up. He hung out with some of his friends, catching the occasional Starbucks when he could. It was also true that Alyssa didn't like to come along to the Tuesday nights, she hated video games and it was also overwhelming to be in a room full of hardcore gamers. Hell, she barely tolerated Alex's casual gaming. There were many nights where she'd ask him to turn the machine off so she could watch television. When Alex moved the machines into his den, she would then complain that he wasn't spending enough time with her. Therefore, he spent the nights he didn't work late on the couch, watching those annoying reality shows. His knowledge of the Kardashians sickened him.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Alyssa likes you guys, she just doesn't share our appreciation for video games," he said finally, addressing his infrequent visits and his wife's absence. "You know how it is, right? Besides, it was a busy year," Alex added, laughing. "But, it's awesome to see the gang together again."
He wasn't lying. The past year was hectic, to put it mildly. Not only did he work 50 hours a week, sometimes 60, he also helped plan a wedding, mortgaged his first home, and spent the past few months preparing for his unborn child. Truth be told, he didn't have much of a life at all.
"Oh yeah," Alex chuckled, shaking his head. "I almost forgot, Alyssa told me to tell you that you need to accept her Frontierville request. You know how seriously she takes those Facebook games."
After hearing his own words, Alex smirked. "I'm not even going to point out the irony in that statement."
Jeanina had looked as though she was about to respond; however, Jeff had taken this subtle pause as his cue for an introduction.
"Jeffrey Allison," said the other young man, offering his right hand. Alex took that hand into his own right hand and grasped it firmly, but not too hard, and shook it. They released their grips and retracted their reach. "I don't think we've met--and yes--Allison is a girl's name."
Alex flashed Jeff a crooked smile as a rejoinder and let him continue on, after what looked like an awkward glance to Jeanina. Not wanting to pry, or give it a second thought, he dismissed it and kept his focus on Jeff.
"I'm one of Dave's network buds from way back, which is to say, I've cleaned his clock on enough severs to earn an honored place at his parties."
"Nice," Alex replied, taking his turn in the conversation as he dug his hands into his front pockets, toying with the change in his right pocket. "I'm Alex Jones, Morgan's brother and Dave's cousin. I don't come around often, so it doesn't surprise me that we haven't met. I grew up with Dave, he's pretty awesome."
It was then that a familiar voice could be heard at his side. "So, what's going on? What's he got planned for tonight?"
Morgan had stopped watching Callum play his game and decided to step into the misshapen semi-circle that would often formed during group conversations. It was a good question, honestly. What was the plan? What were they going to play? When was Dave coming back? He fixed his green eyes upon the computer screen as Morgan looked at it as well. What in the hell was that vortex? It distorted everything on the screen. It kind of reminded him of a gate off of Chrono Trigger. Not the blue thing they jumped in, per se, but that worm hole perspective that you'd get when the gate closed on you. He'd know what they looked like, he'd only seen Morgan play it endlessly since she was old enough to play it. There were instances where Morgan would blunder in their everyday life and Alex, being the smart a** brother he is, would say to her, "But the future refused to change".
"So, what do you say we try it out until Dave gets back?"
"Yeah," Alex agreed, reaching for the mouse, "that sounds fun."
After toggling the mouse a few times, the monitor's display wouldn't change. The screensaver did not deactivate and the vortex looking thing remained, taunting all of them.
"Or not?" Alex scoffed, cocking his eyebrow. "What the hell? Did he get another virus from looking at porn?"

 Jeanina Fritz - Roxas
The party finally came to life. Jeff came over and introduced himself to Alex, interrupting their conversation at the same time. Jeanina didn't mind. Instead, a taunting laugh escaped her lips when he mentioned his girl's name. That would never get old, and she loved to tease him about it. Alex apparently noticed the slight tension between her and Jeff, and chose not to comment, but she leaned over and said in a stage whisper, "Dear Ally and I used to be quite close back in high school, if ya get my meaning."
Alex mentioned that Alyssa had sent a Frontierville request on Facebook, and Jeanina couldn't help but smile. It was funny, how she was addicted to Facebook games, but couldn't stand video games. Still smiling, she replied, "Tell her I'll accept when I'm conscious again and physically able to do anything in my right mind." Later on she would look back on this comment and laugh at how true this statement was, and how long it would be before she was actually conscious to do anything.
The group decided to start the games without their host, which sucked for Dave, but that was his own fault. Of course, Jeanina wouldn't be participating. She never did. She got a kick out of just watching. She was terrible at gaming, having killed her character almost every time she tried before someone else took over to save the poor person's life. As they all huddled around Dave's computer, which had been downloading something before, she noticed the screensaver. "Has Dave gone nerdy or something in the last week?" she muttered, adding on quickly to Morgan, "No offense. I love you as a nerd." But the screensaver didn't change when they moved the mouse. Very un-screensaver-like.

" Thaaaat's the spirit Jeanie~!" Mari sang back through from the kitchen as she poured another glass for Jeanina. she was highly unaware of the goings on about the computer though, mostly because it was out of view but also because she wasn't bothered where dave was, she just wanted to drink some and have fun. Emerging into the living room, Mari found that it was a bit empty... Everyone seemed to have moved into Daves room for some reason, not unusual, but had Dave tidied up? " I hope to god there isn't any of my clothes still in there... Oh the questions!" She thought trying to remember if she'd ever went home missing underwear or something, nothing was coming to mind thankfully... But, what WERE they all doing through there? The only person NOT crowded around it was Callum, and that was probably because he was playing a game. Daves room was going to be cramped, buuut that's where the party was headed, also Mari reckoned she could hide any evidence of herself without anyone noticing, hopefully... " Here ya go. What's everyone doing through here anyway?" She said calmly and handed Jeanina a tumbler of wine that matched her own and sat down on the surprisingly tidy bed. She had a quick scan of the room with her eyes, and to her relief there was nothing that she could see that belonged to her, which was good, because more than one person here had history with the guy... And that could be awkward. The computer seemed to have everyone's attention anyway so even if there was something Mari doubted that any of them would notice, but what was special about the computer? other than it being covered with a towel. " And of course you love him for being a Nerdy, you did date him for like a while... I can't remember." She joked as she stood up behind the group and drank some more of her wine. The screen they were all staring at looked dodgy though, it was like the screen saver was coming out of the screen a little, but that might have just been her eyes. She blinked a few times, nope, the wobbliness was still there. 2 What's he been doing now? that looks freaky." Mari said as she leaned over Jeff to batter her finger a few times on the enter key. Nothing happened though. " also what's with the towel?" She asked, nudging the computer with her foot.... she shouldn't have nudged it... Some sparks burst out from a vent on the side, and then the screen went all mental. Colours started rainbowing all over the display and before she could even react they spread out to the walls like a projection. " Ahh, I did ******** all!" Mari shouted as she took a few steps back, and had another drink of wine was the colours spiraled over the walls... X{♪}This would be pretty if it wasn't worrying...

Blake Brooks - Ryu As more and more of the Gang started arriving, something was gnawing at Blake's thoughts. It was as if he was missing some important detail in front of him. 'Dave was here...now he's gone...there was a portal-thingy and-' Blake's thought process was interrupted however when Jeanina walked into the door. Immediately forgetting what he was thinking about he coughed a nervous cough and waved back at Jeanina. While he may avoid getting to close to the girls since they obviously had or currently have some sort of thing for his roommate, Jeanina was the only one who didn't. Granted he doesn't spend much time with her on days other than Tuesdays, but she does sometimes come to him to hook her up with some herb. He shook himself out of his stupor, convincing himself in vain that it's just a crush and nothing more. Blake glanced at Dave's computer screen once again, and his restarted his thought process. 'Dave was here...now he's gone...there was a portal and-' "Wake the bear?" Once again all potential epiphanies were lost as Blake turned to see his fellow 'partaker' Jeff. "You know it man!" he exclaimed gleefully. He noticed the fast food smell and smacked his head. "Oh yeah, toke first then cover the smell with food, I keep forgetting about that. By the way tell your bro Seth that the stuff he sold me was most primo, it's got me seeing swirly portals on screens." When asked about his roommate, a lightbulb went off in his mind and once more, his thought process went off. "Dave's not here man." he snickered at bit at the Cheech and Chong reference. "I think he may have been tak-""Well we'd best don our tinfoil hats then shouldn't we!"So close and yet so far, Blake lost his concentration as Mari made her grand entrance. "Oh snap Mar-bro is here!" He shouted excitedly as he made his way to the main room to greet her, again forgetting his thought process. "Sorry Mari, but if we have time you're more than welcome to try the stuff Jeff's bro hooked me up with." he said joyfully. He glanced at the bottles in the kitchen and for a split second frowned. "C'mon bros and girl-bros, you guys know I don't drink." He shook his head. "That stuff can kill you you know." he said in a matter-of-fact tone, oblivious to the sheer absurdity of he words. It's true, Blake has never even tasted a drop of alcohol, saying that it pollutes the mind. As the Gang started settling in he heard Alex tease him down the hall. "Naw it's cool Jock-bro, me and Dave only feed for the skunk of Fridays, once Pepe le Pew sees there's no food in his bowl he'll leave." he laughed unaware of how the Gang reacts to that last piece of information. "You should tell Alyssa to come join us sometime, and when he/she's old enough bring your little gamer too. I'll even abstain for partaking if she does if that'll help." He said with all honesty. He looked around at his group of friends and felt a sense of contentment. ' This is what Buddha was talking about man, good friends, awesome games, and Cheetos...truly this is Nirvana' His curiosity piqued when he saw everyone congregating to Dave's room once again. As he walked in he saw that everyone was huddling around Dave's computer screen. Once he saw the swirling pattern it hit him. "Wait a minute!" He exclaimed, unaware that his outburst just silenced the room. "I knew something was off a few minutes ago..." He walked up to the screen and pointed at it. "Once I figured that I wasn't the only one seeing the weird swirly thing, I realized something. And that is..." he paused for dramatic effect. " Dave uses the aquarium screensaver on the third week of the month, which means someone kidnapped him and changed his screensaver! Not cool bro." he said the last part with as much anger a stoner ever shows, barely any. He was so caught up in his moment of drama that he failed to notice Mari removing the towel from the towel. Blake was taken aback at the sudden firework display and could only stare at the display of bright colors spreading around them. "Does anyone else see the awesome light show...or is it just me again?"

Hannah Clarkson Hannah didn't say much when the conversation turned to Alex's soon-to-be wife, Alyssa. She hardly knew the man, let alone his fiancé who appearently was not the gamer type. Ah, well. It's not like they could expect everyone and anyone to fully enjoy Tuesdays at Dave's. Introduction were made, not with Hannah, but it she didn't particularly mind. Meeting people was never one of her strong points. She emjoyed being around friends, no doubt, but was content with not being bear the center of attention. The attention shifted more towards Dave's emulator. "Might as well," she said abou starting without Dave. If he hadn't wanted them to, he should have said something before disapearing off the plannet. Really. Taking a few steps to the side to make room for the growing group of people, she wondered if he had put some sort of lock on it though, when the screen saver wouldn't disapear. She was about to answer Mari's question when suddenly the screen-saver seemed to take over the whole room, like some sci-fy movie. "What the hell," she muttered, attention instantly taken by the trippy-looking colours and swirls. They seemed to engulf everything in the weird lighting, and she looked at her hands that were now tinted blues and greens and reds... For a moment she wondered if Blake hadn't done something to the food, but she hadn't eaten anything here yet... "Mari what did you hit?" she aked in a nervous voice as the patterns seemed to swell in intensity.

"What a horrible night to have a curse." Alex paid little attention to the discourse around him. Instead, he felt hypnotized by whirling vortex. What the heck was it? Why wouldn't it get off of the display when they nudged the mouse to pressed on the keys? He blinked several times, ripping himself away from the spell of corrupted screen, checking back into reality in the midst of Mari speaking.
"Also, what's with the towel," Mari asked, speaking to no one in particular; as far as Alex knew. She nudged the computer with her foot, gently, but something had happened. Alex inhaled sharply as sparks ejected from the side vents of the tower.
Something was terribly wrong here.
The lights erupted from the computer monitor, drowning the entire room, and its occupants, in a vast array of bright colors. Was it some sort of aurora? No, that made no sense. It did come from the monitor after all. What the hell was going on? Did it have something to do with that computer virus? Panic flooded his senses. They broke Dave's computer. He was going to be PISSED.
"Ahh, I did ******** all!" Mari shouted, stepping away from the computer.
Apparently, he wasn't the only one surprised by this turn of events. Blake stood among them, asking about whether or not he was the only person seeing the light show. Alex wasn't sure when Blake came into the room. He might have heard him speaking earlier, but so much of the conversation prior to the exploding light sounded muffled. Honestly, it was as though his head had been held underwater that whole time. He felt disoriented and the lights didn't seem to help him either.
"No, man," he replied, turning to his stoned cohort. "We all see it."
"We have to turn it off," Alex declared, moving towards the tower. "If we end up frying Dave's computer, he's gonna flip a b***h!"
The young man crouched down, holding his rear end above his ankles, and drove his right thumb into the power button, holding it there. He peered up at the monitor. Nothing changed and the flash of lights continued to engulf all of them. "s**t, it's not turning off."
At that moment, violet electricity surged and arced around the computer tower. Before Alex could react, and pull away from the computer, the electricity surged brightly and leapt into him. The young man yelped, feeling his muscles contract and spasm endlessly as he was thrown to the opposite wall. This was it, this was how he was going to die. Fatal video game accident. Would he be remembered fondly? Or would he end up as a joke on '1000 ways to die'? Time spanned out for what felt like minutes, but it had merely been a second of being electrocuted and thrown across the room. He hit the wall, denting the gypsum beneath the eggshell colored paint before crumpling to the floor, pieces of drywall followed.
"There goes the deposit," he said weakly, slumped up against the wall. "That thing is dangerous... get away...."

Jeff returned to Dave's room as he heard Mari shouting at the computer. Colors and beams of light seemed to strobe and spray from the door as Jeff passed the threshold just in time to see Alex slam into the wall shrouded in violet electricity. He thought the residual static on the keyboard had been strange, but now it seemed to computer tower was openly attacking people now. Had this been what happened to Dave; not simply abscent or running an errand, but electrocuted by his computer. If so where was he? Surely Blake, no matter how distracted he was, would've noticed the arrival of an EMT called to wisk Dave off to the emergency room.
Everything was happening so fast, he hadn't a moment to think into the matter further as he stepped inside the room aiming to take a second shot at Alex's failed attempt to shut the malfunctioning computer down. But with each step towards the swirling portal he felt himself wracked with a sort of dizzyness and pain; his ears began to ring with a desperate 'ding-dong' chime that occelated, signalling a sense of dread and inpending doom that only came when one was pushed to their limits, telling him that he needed to let someone else take a stab at the fray. Each step made his body ache from the electricity's effect on the air, and his vision seemed to blur a milky white. The alarm like warning still chimming rythmically in his head; he felt his body weakening, and he thought he might faint at any moment. Forced to no other course of action, Jeff withdrew away from the computer, dropping to one knee. He glanced up again at the portal as his vision returned, though he could still hear the ringing alarm that echoed with nostalgic resonance in his mind. Where have I heard this noise before!?, He thought as his eyes scanned the vibrant colored and pixelated surroundings.

This is just a sort of reaction bit to the portal and all the hub-bub, but I didn't really have much to add; I've a feeling we'll be getting the old virtual makeovers soon, so wanted to start shadowing the game MIDI sounds into my character's mind; if it wasn't apparent, he's hearing the near-death warning from the PoKemon battle system XD lol))

Callum Scott – Mega Man Goodbye sanity, I'll be back in time for breakfast......I hope Sparing little more than a glance as the rest of the gang went about catching up, Callum continued on with his game, his movements settled into a jiggle in his left leg. He was on the last level, just coming up to the final boss when he heard a loud thump from Dave's room. Pausing the game at the door to the final chamber, Callum looked around the room, a tiny but surprised to find that the room was empty. Where the hell is everyone? Are they having a circle jerk in Dave's room? Nah, they probably just found his emulator. Fair enough. Standing up now that his attention was elsewhere, he wandered over to the kitchen area, where the bags of food had piled up, as well as various drinks. With a can of Sprite and a bag of crisps in hand, he decided to join the rest of the gang. Opening the door, Callum could only stop in the doorway as the lights washed over him. ”........Wha?” Watching as his rational mind calmly walked out his head and went home for a quiet evening with the SNES, he simply closed the door and sat down on the bed, eyes not leaving the computer screen. His eyes flicked over to Jeff as he attempted to get close to the machine, growing sweaty and ill looking as he got within a few feet of it before having to back away. Back to the computer, before looking at where he had came in. Being far too calm as he noted in his game notes that the door seemed to have disappeared in the wash of colour, looking for extents and purposes like a background image, not something that could be touched. The rest of the walls were slowly following suit, melting into a sleek image, as though they were just like the computer screen itself. ”So Blake..... Is it you that spiked the water supply?”

♥♥♥Morgan Jones♥♥♥"Omigawd! Alex!" Morgan's voice was nothing but sheer panic as she rushed to her brother's side. She was distracted from the colors swirling around the room, the reactions of the others, and the strangely familiar tune* pounding in the back of her head. She crouched down beside her brother and took his hand."Alex, are you alright? What the hell is going on?"*((Chrono Trigger Battle Theme))♪♫♪

((so, when you read this post, listen to this song haha! Incidentally, this is also exactly how I picture the portal to look, minus the swimming and fishes, plus more plummeting through nothing.)) For the lulz!As Jeff reached forwards to press the power button the computer sparked again, like a warning not to even try it... The spiralling colours and pulsing lights were ever so quickly absorbed into a red circle bang in the middle of Dave’s computer screen... " I'm sorry, I can't let you do that Jeff... Did I remember that quite right? HA! Not that it matters. So, how you all doing today? Feel like an adventure? OF COURSE YOU DO! Now come along gang, there are mysteries to solve, jenkies!! LOL!" Shouted the circle as it seemed to mock them using internet quotes and general pop culture stupidity. It continued to laugh manically as red tendrils shot from the screen wrapping around Mari, stripping her and dragging her straight through what should have been solid glass, leaving her clothes where she was sitting on the bed... " WHA-?! Get the ******** off me!! Ahh.. No! Don't you DARE! My Ahh.. CLOOOTHEEES!! Aaa!!! what the hell?! GYAAA-!!" " I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going!!" The voice gasped amongst the psychotic giggling and shrieking as Mari's bare a** disappeared from sight. Still laughing, more tendrils fired out, grabbing everyone else tightly in various degrees of indecent holds before stripping dragging them into the screen one after another. ---------- Inside the screen Mari found herself shooting through a pixelated portal of wobbly colour and general trippyness. She was still bound by the weird red tendril though it didn't seem to be attached to anything else other than her cleavage and crotch... It was tight, and, just generally, awkward! and her clothes seemed to have been left behind! Some people were into bondage and Mari had nothing against it, but just now she'd rather not be getting some special treatment from a ribbon of light as she was too busy working out what the bloody ******** just happened, and where the floor was, or if it was getting any closer! " Ahh... No, not goood!!! AHHHHH!!! ******** THIS FOR A LAAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!! Hnnnggg! Ahh, NO!!" she screamed as she plummeted, blushing and panting heavily, towards nowhere... " SuppOSE! Ahh... At least no one else can see... See me..." She gasped awkwardly as she tried to get rid of the awkward light tendrils, but it was useless, and the seemed to be multiplying! ---------- Back in reality the computer sat by its self gigging away at the piles of clothes that were left, before the red light shrank down to a pin p***k and pop... switched off....
