Daniel nodded to Bridgett, and put the pill back in the pouch, he Stepped next to Serenity and turned on a small flashlight on his helmet, he aimed his head towards the wound on Emmas brow "Im sure you know this but its definitely infected, i know you guys operate differently than how we did in the military, but might i suggest placing alcohol pads on it for a moment to clean out the bacteria, and then perhaps stitching it?". He stood quietly, manuevering his head to keep the light with Serenitys hands.

 Serenity looked over her shoulder at Daniel and Sky. She smiled kindly at Daniel and shook her head. "Bridget's right Daniel. We need something fast working. Bridget I either need an ice pack or a cold wet cloth." She said before looking over at Sky once more as he commented on her smell. "Oh and you don't smell like a cigarette. Now if your not here to help then get out." She said with a sneer at the end. As Bridget turned on the light overhead Serenity saw how bad the infection was. "Doesn't look to bad with anti-biotics it should be fine. It needs a few stitches though-" She said as she quickly looked down at the girl who spoke. "Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you. I'm a doctor, my name is Serenity Dusk." She said as Daniel came over shining his helmet light on her hands. She listened to his suggestion and nodded. "That's very good suggestion, however I want to break the fever before I start stitching things up."

Bridget nodded and went to get an ice pack and quickly returned placing it on Emma's forehead. "Serenity I am going to starts her on some fluids and monotor her heart beat." She quickly got several packs of IV fluids and attached one of them to Emma and then attached a heart monotor to the girl as well. Once the machine was on it read that the girl had an elivated heart rate.

Daniel watched closely at how serenity and bridgett worked, to him it was like was like watching aliens do an autopsy on an unsuspecting victim, there were no bullets, there was no helicopter flying over head, no soldier shouting 'medic!' or 'corpsman!', he just stood there silently, soaking in the entire scene like a giant organic sponge, he noted every detail, overwriting all of his standard military routines, he was amazed at how far apart his doctoring seemed from theirs.

Serenity nodded as Bridget told her she was going to start the girl on some fluids and such. Serenity cursed under her breath as the girls heartbeat was elevated. "Bridget get a anti-arrhythmic shot now!" She yelled seeing the heart rate climb slowly. While Bridget was doing that Serenity took her temperature again and nodded seeing it was stable. "Now all we need is to stabilize her heart rate." Serenity said as she grabbed some things to start cleaning out the wound.

Bridget nodded and quickly ran out of the room and was back in seconds with the shot. She injected Emma with it and soon her heart rate started to go back down. Bridget started the girl on some oxygen as well in hopes that it would help stabilize her. Once the girl was stablized Bridget sighed and walked out. She knew that Serenity was going to take good care of her. She had been pulling double shifts again since she was trying to get out of a bad relationship and was trying to make ends meet for herself. She downed another 5 hour energy her third one that day.

Serenity smiled at Bridgette and mouthed a thank you before going back to working on the girl. She sighed and started cleaning the wound before grabbing a needle and thread. She started stiching the wound up and wiped her forehead on her sleeve after she was done. "There." She said nodding pulling the gloves off. She threw them away before stepping outside and past Bridgette. "She's fine now thanks for the help." Serenity said pulling her pack of smokes out. She put one between her lips then walked down the hallway passing Doctor Daniel saying hello and having him shake his head at her laughing a bit. Daniel carried a clipboard in one hand and his other in his pants pocket. He shook his head passing Dr. Serenity and laughed a bit. He had a lollipop in his mouth and stopped as he came upon Bridgette. "Ah Hello there Bridgette." He said cheerfully like always. "Having a nice day?" He asked before seeing the five hour energy in her hands. "Hey how many shifts have you done recently?"

Daniel watched bridgett leave, he placed a hand on his helmet and turned the light off, the overhead lamp was much brighter anyways. He looked at serenity and gently placed a hand on her shoulder "let me know if things get out of hand, oh and" he pulled the pill out of the aid pouch and handed it to serenity "its the anti-biotic, might as well take, 'cause im sure not" he turned and started walking out the room, he mistepped and knocked a small metallic cup off of a counter, it hit the floor with a loud 'clank!'. In a split second daniel had flopped to the ground and had his hands and body in the position as if he was holding a rifle he shouted "shots fired!"he stayed still on the ground for a second before regaining himself and standing up. He gently knelt down and replaced the cup on to the counter, he nervously looked at Sky and Serenity "i'll uh..just be, well you know" he speed walked out the door nervously and headed down the hall towards his room.

"Um I think I lost track after the third or fourth day." Bridget took a step forward but then stummbled a bit. She could not tell him the reason for her working more hours. Her soon to be ex boyfriend was cheating on her and was abusive and she had decided to move out. She just had to come up with enough money to take care of herself.

Daniel shook his head as she replied then launched forward catching her by her shoulders. "Whoa now." He said helping her stand. "You should go home and sleep. How much sleep have you gotten recently?" He asked placing his clipboard on one of the gurneys nearby. "Bridgette is there something bugging you? You know I'm always here to listen and help... Part of the job, but your a friend." He said switching his lollipop over to the right side of his mouth.

"I am trying to leave my abusive boyfriend. I need the money." Bridget was starting to get a little worked up. "About the sleep I have gotten none and all that has gone into my stomach has been about a couple dozen five hour energy's and wat......" Her body suddenly went limp.

Daniel frowned as she said the word abusive. He hated that word and he always got upset when he heard it. "Bridgette you should get some-" He said before catching her as her body went limp. "Cheese and rice Bridgette. You need sleep and a proper meal." He said as his lollipop fell to the floor and shattered. "And I need a new lollipop." He said trying to sound comical. "Anyway, you can rest in my office if you want or I can take you to my room in the doctors/nurses wing. If you needed a place to stay you should have said something to Serenity or me. Hell if Serenity saw you like this she would probably scold you till you couldn't hear." He said laughing a bit. "It's your choice on where you want to rest, but I will not take no for an answer. Your going to hurt yourself or worse if you don't get some rest and relaxation."

"I can't sleep. I really don't know where it's best for me to rest. I know Serenity. We practically grew together here and your right she would." Bridget tried to laugh but it turned into a slight cough. She looked so weak at the moment.
(It's late I need to get to bed but that does not mean that I will not be on until I offically go to sleep.)

Daniel sighed as she talked about not being able to sleep. "I can understand that, but you need to try. My office is the closest thing and I'll be in there if you need anything." He said helping her down the hallway. "If you want I can give you some sleep medication." He said grabbing his clipboard. ((If you want to go to bed go ahead and go to bed lol don't think you have to stay up because of me. We can always continue tomorrow, but it's your choice. It's one in the morning here and I usually go to bed at two unless I have work.))
