Jenna fidgited nervously. Nobody had ever asked her that before, "Of course not." It was only a truth from the right perspective, of course. She lived in a castle, the castle was always filled with people. She was never by herself. That's the mentality she used when answering the question.

((If I think you are doing something wrong or overreaching, I'll raise a hand. Jenna is submissive, so you have more power over her movements than someone who is picky about everything. Of course, that is all reletive, don't overreach.))

Ronald saw Thirrin's joy and he couldn't help but smile. He could tell the girl had talent and that she resembled one of Jehanna's most popular dancers, Tethys. He had heard of Tehys and he was very curious about Thirrin. He ran up to the mage and tapped her on the shoulder.
Excuse me? Are you perhaps any chance related to Tethys the dancer? Oh yes and sorry about me knocking you out.
Ronald saw that the girl was now curious.
I see you are a mage. Do you need a teacher? I just realized I gave you a highly advanced spell book. I could help you so you could use it.
Ronald felt another one of his dark feelings coming. Excellent.... Teach her. She will be a great addition to Grado's army. This feeling he shook off like the others.
Here. I'll flip a coin. If heads I'll teach you. Tails I uh... hmmm... Aha! Tails I still teach you but you give me my spellbook back.

He flipped the coin and watched it land heads.

You win. I'll teach you.

Amber sat in her hot stuffy classroom as the officer spoke on about different battle formations; and strategies on how to protect magic-users while repeling them with front line soldiers. Amber was diligently taking notes as she had been for the past couple of weeks. The bell tower outside rang and the teacher dismisssed them on a good note telling them to review, a test would be coming next class.

Amber walked out of the cramped room into the sun and smiled, walking to her barracks she retrieved her steel sword and headed for town. Saying hi to some of her fellow cadets Amber walked out of the castle grounds and straight for the market square. Upon reaching it she heard a terrible baying off to the side inside an alley.

Turning the corner to investigate she came upon Serenity and the hounds; drawing her sword she rushed forward beside the girl with the rapier.

"Looks like you might need a hand." Amber said casually and fell into her fighting stance her body relaxed, right leg bent slightly as she readyed her self for combat, her sword clasped tightly in hand, Amber prepared herself for the fight to come with a calm and readyness that she had never expierenced before.

Tylendel had been silent during the entire exchange between what he discovered to be princess Serenity and a merchant of some kind. Something about the man didn't quite seem right... He almost had a heart attack when she tried to sell the Lunar Bracelet. Luckily, something stopped her. The merchant left and Serenity left not long afterwards. The blonde followed at a discreet distance.

"YAAAAAAAAAH!" Came a scream. Tylendel quickly ran towards the sound to find the princess being attacked by Mauthe Daugs! "Quickly! Behind me!" He said putting his armoured body between the demons and Serenity. He also noted that there was some kind of female swordfighter and that the princess had a rapier...

Amber looked at the newcomer and noticed he was a true knight of Renais not a cadet like her, knowing that an officer was before her and fighting beside her gave Amber the courage to meet the first beast with a confidence she really didn't feel.

The Hound, launched itself at her and she moved, ducking low she let it soar over her and as it came to land she spun and slashed out while moving forward, her blade sliced through the creature's hide and bit deeply, however as her blade ripped free it launched itself forward once again and knocked her forward and she fell.

Catching herself, she rolled forward off her shoulder and came up on her feet, repoisiting she spun and slashed out, cleanly opening its neck and spilling its blood on the alley's cobblestones. Amber turned to see how the girl and knight fared.

"I'm... fine...," Serenity said, feeling a bit more confident since a few others showed up to help her fight. She was still scared, but something inside her pushed her to fight. Rather than listening to the knight, the girl darted forward towards one of the monsters.

Elegantly she weaved the rapier in an out, striking the monster multiple times. The Mauthe Daug yelped and jumped back. Serenity simply stood there, surprised at what had happened. She had no formal training in the art of swordplay, yet she suddenly performed a moved only to be attempted by master swordfighters.

"That was.... odd...," she commented. "It almost felt like... the sword was controlling the motions of my hand..."

Abigail sat on a small bed, located inside of a house in a village near the border of Frelia. A young couple, along with their daughter, had allowed her to stay the night. She was forever grateful to them. She tossed her hair behind her shoulders and stood up. She carried nothing but her stave with her. She walked out of the room, and into the kitchen, where the family sat around the table.

"I'm ready to go now. Thank you for everything." Abigail said lightly, smiling meekly at the family.

The wife smiled back, "It was our pleasure, dear. Come back anytime."

Abigail was thankful for that. The waved goodbye to the family and departed from the house, walking straight out of the small town. She headed in the direction of Rausten. She knew she wouldn't make it there, cut it was always nice to try. She barely made it a mile without changing directions, and heading towards the centre of Frelia. Rausten .. It was too overbearing for her to return. She hoped her help would be required somewhere away from it.

((Ew, not good, sorry. I have a lot going on at the moment, and just wnated to get Abbey started.))

Thirrin was overwhelmed with the prospect of being taught magic by the prince of Jehanna. She looked at him with awe, wondering how he had just teleported himself from nowhere. She grabbed the spellbook and replied
"Tethys is my great Aunt. I inherited my magic skills from her brother Ewan. I could do with a teacher; I'm travelling alone at the moment." she suddenly realised she had said all this without any formalitites. Hesitantly, she attempted a curtsey and almost fell over as she stuttered "Your highness." Thirrin couldn't believe her luck. After less than an hour on the road and she was already being taught by one fo Jehanna's most talented mages and one of their most powerful people.

Raiyl gasped for breath. She was starving and hadn't slept for two days. These grassy hills were so much different to the gentle plains she had been used to, and wasn't that the same tree she had passed by a day and a half ago?

"That's it! I've had enough! I've been going around in circles for days!" she roared furiously.

Raiyl collapsed to the ground and threw the heavy iron blade she had dragged with her all this way too. Its all hopeless. She would never be able to catch up to those foul knights who had stolen the Tienlongzhim at this rate. She had been searching for so long though.

"What would father say?"
She felt so ashamed. It had been those knights who had killed him! But how?

He was the strongest warrior in the whole tribe, and knew the secrets of the power anima. How? She decided to continue. There was no point in giving up now.
By the afternoon, she had reached a town. Perhaps the residents would be able to give her some information. Her stomach suddenly rumbled ravenously, and some food too.

Julia smiled, though it was almost a sad smile.
"Oh, of course you're not lonely. You must have a cluster of friends! My apolagies, my lady."
From there, Julia was silent, absorbed in her thoughts. Would /he/ have been lonely? Surely Julia wouldn't have allowed that... No, her son would have been lively, energetic.
... Or, at least, so she hoped. Roan is taking good care of him, she told herself.
Julia almost squirmed under the temptation of asking Jenna another question. Why was she being like this?
"Who's your best friend?" she then blurted. She felt like slapping herself, but she ignored it. Sure she was being nosy, but hopefully the princess would say something at least. Sometimes it took being nosy to make one talk.

[>< Badbadbad. Sorry. It's really short.]

Jenna never dealt with sarcasm before, so she was a bit confused. Anyone who has ever seen Jenna would know or know within the next 2 minutes that Jenna hardly had any friends at all. All she really had were a couple a vassals whom she hardly ever spoke to. They were only there to steer away trouble from her. Jenna was still trying to come up with a response when Julia inquired about her best friend. Jenna's answer to that came much quicker.

"... Best... Friend? I-I don't understand. What do you mean?" To Jenna, Best Friend was a foriegn concept.

((Don't worry about short posts when talking to Jenna. She won't ever give you a lot to reply to. But you can always try, though.))

Please. You do not need to call me "your highness" or any other titles. Ron or Ronald will be fine.
He shook Thirrin's hand and warped them to the castle.
Welcome, Thirrin, to Jehanna castle!

[Yeah, I guess you're right. = );;]

Julia paused. It was understandable that Jenna didn't know what a best friend was, but it still surprised her.
"... A best friend... is a person who you trust more than anyone else. A person who you can tell anything to, and believe that they won't tell anyone. Someone who you have the most fun with, and is better than all your other friends."
She inhaled. She had said that all in one breath.
Julia sat patiently, waiting for what the princess would say. She had no clue, really, and was interested in her answer. But... she might lie, but she doubted that. Or perhaps she would say her father? There were really a lot of things she could say...

[Ooh, we should have this be their first Support convo or something. xDD]

Over the next few days, Ronald taught Thirrin everything he knew. They practiced constantly thanks to Thirrin's determination and she soon went from being a D level mage to an A level mage.
Huh... I guess I have nothing to teach you. You've mastered all of the things I know.
Ronald was sitting on his throne and was puzzled.
Thirrin. Seeing that Grado has taken control of all my General's, I would like to appoint you as Mage General of Jehanna. If you accept you will have all control over all of Jehanna's army when we fight. I must go to Grado tomorrow to speak with Empress Isabelle. I do not want you to go to Grado. There is a present for you in your room. A very rare Guiding ring. When you can use it you will be able to be a Sage or Mage Knight. Also ask the Treasure Chamber guards to give you the Bolting spell I perfected. It will never run out.
Ronald smiled and waved goodbye as he warped to Grado's Imperial castle.

Thirrin couldn't believe her progress. In just a few days, she had gone from being a mage in training to nearly an expert. She didn't have a chance to say that she would like to send a message to her parents about her training and how it had progressed. Or that she was 14 years old, and that it might not be too wise a descision to give her such power over Jehanna's army. She knew nothing of battles. She decided she would keep hold of the Guiding Ring until she felt more ready to become a sage or a mage knight, perhaps even perfect her magic skills before then. and, after all, she would need some time to deicde whether she would become a sage or a mage knight. Mage knights had horses, and although Thirrin loved animals, she could only train in the use of staves. But if she was a sage...she wouldn't have a lovely horse, but she would have a chance to study light magic as well. She needed some time to think.
But one thing kept getting on her nerves. Where did Prince Ronald, or Ron, as she now called him, learn to warp, and why was he so intent on teaching her?
