Blackpaw, who had been back for a while, snorted at that idea. "There's a reason your dead now," he snorted, "That rouge killed you before you were ever made a Warrior, if you were worthy of being a Warrior, you would have beat that rouge. But you died. You couldn't do it. You should be ready for anything. You can't let your thoughts wander, you kill to survive. And if you dare ask why I'm not a Warrior, and that I'm dead, I'll shred your ears off, because that-that-that Clan doesn't know true greatness when its shoved under its good for nothing nose." Flicking his ears, Blackpaw continued, "I never thought that you would come up with such a pathetic idea. You should've been ready. Its not like that rouge smelled like a flower, more like rat droppings. You have to be ready. I'm surprised that your not in StarClan, with the rest of the weak ThunderClan." Blackpaw just kept on going on, waiting for Ebonypaw to attack, to show that she must always be ready, because, hiding in the tip of Blackpaw's matted tail, there was a thorn as long as a dogs tooth, and just as sharp.

Blackpaw laughed as Ebonypaw crashed into the tree, "You don't pick a fight with cats stronger than you.'' He flicked his tail at Ebonypaw, making a long, but not deep, scratch down her side with the thorn.

Blackpaw rolled his eyes, "Get up, you useless lump of fur. That cut is not even a claw-length deep. You're in the Dark Forest, get USED to it, Kittypet."

{Let's let her win this time, shall we?}
Ebonypaw feined, hearing every single word they said. Suddenly and very quickly, she leapt up, scratching Blackpaw with her long claws unmercilly. After that she bit him hard and darted underneath his belly, raked her claws through the soft flesh and then gingerly removed the thorn from his tail. She sat a fox-length away, hbody tense, waiting for reaction.

Evilstar nodded from where he had been sitting. This was good.

Evilstar's eyes widened. "Noheart, I thought you had fadede!"

Noheart suddenly turned and darted off the track and into the trees. He heard Ebonypaw crash into the bracken behind him, and he suddenly turned around and jumped clear over Ebonypaw. When her back was to him, he pounced on her back and hissed in her ear, "Never turn your back on your enemy." He racked his claws down her back, an evil glint in his eyes.

Noheart looked at Ebonypaw with something like pity in his eyes. "I never wanted to come here. I regret what I did with all the heart I don't have. For many moons, I felt like breaking down. I had to stay in the heart of the forest, where no cat dared to go, just so I could be alone." Noheart meowed softly.

Noheart lost his softness and meowed cold and sarcastically, "Right, you puny apprentice, like you could beat me in a fight. Anyways, I spent moons in the center of the forest, like I know my way around. I do not know how to hunt a mouse, and you expect me to show you out of this StarClan forsaken place!? StarClan. If they really wanted us, they would come here to receive the..burden..from this forest. I don't want to live, though I am dead. Kill me, and do me a favor." Noheart sat down on the forest floor with a thump, sending dirt and dust flying. "Even if I wanted, I could never lead you out of this place. I am as lost now as I was in life." Noheart whisked his tail around.
