Gorsepelt waved good-bye to the cats, and turned his attention to the remaining members of the Clan who had the morning hunting patrol.
Weaselface snorted, not believing that Gorsepelt just waved to them. "He's full of himself." He mewed to Foxtail.
(Does WindClan hunt in this thread or do we have a WindClan's territory to hunt in?)

Meadowpaw nodded as she began cutting some catmint with her teeth. Catmint equals cure for greencough, got it, she thought, trying to remember everything. Finaly Meadowpaw bundled as much as can fit in her mouth and looked towards her mentor for more instructions.
Moonwhisper flicked her tail pretending not to hear what her two Clanmates were talking about. Then she turned to Fawnpaw and said, "Now, what do you smell?"
Fawnpaw scented the air, "Grass, monster scent being picked up by the wind, it's in the distance, rabbit!" She perked up at the rabbit part then scented the air again and shook her head, "Nothing dangerous."
"Good," Moonwhisper said with a purr as she double-checked it by scenting the air also.
Emberpaw began grooming himself as he saw Gorsepelt scheduling the morning hunting patrol. "Gorsepelt, may I join the patrol, I have nothing to do at the moment." Emberpaw asked, padding over to Gorsepelt.
(I dont know, there should be a clans border thread so that when on rades or border patrol, all clans would see it comming, and be able to interact lol)

Foxtail lowered her ears hearing Weaselface knowing she had to agree with the tom, she just nodded then turned to look at Moonwhisper. She turned back to look at Weaselface and continue walking still nervous.

(Would it be okay if Emberpaw's Gorsepelt's apprentice?)
Gorsepelt shook his head no. "Too late, they're gone. Plus, you have your apprentice duties to get to. For starters, start cleaning out the elder's bedding and get them new ones."

(okay, ya its just fine lol, he needed a mentor biggrin )
Emberpaw lowered his ears ever-so-slightly. He HATED cleaning out the elder's den. But there was nothing he can do about it. Gorsepelt was his mentor and the deputy of the Clan on top of that! "Okay," Emberpaw said, slightly regretting even asking him. Then he perked up at an idea he had, and said it. "By any chance, if I get it done soon enough, can you take me out for battle-practice?"

**Skip to Sundown.**
Leafstar padded around the camp for abit thinking of who to take to the gathering before calling for the clan's attention smiling as they gathered. "Now for the cats who will be going to the gathering tonight." She meowed looking at the clanmates before smiling again happily. "Foxtail, Weaselface, Oceanpaw, Moonwhisper..." She continued on her list leaving out a few clanmates knowing they were low on cats in the clan.

Weaselface had returned to camp with Foxtail and the others awhile ago, and was half-listening as WindClan's leader named off the cats attending the Gathering. When he heard his name, he picked up his head and blinked. He didn't want to stay up half the night with a bunch of fish-eaters or forest-dwellers.
