My reasoning is... The character's I've listed use skill- careful planning, thoughtful stratergies and precision timing. Takao and Brooklyn do not have skill (in my opinion of course)... they have raw talent and they use their emotions to power their blades, rather than mindwork
Most underrated characters:
5) Kiki
4) Boris
3) Julia
2) Zo -loved him
1) Rei- for sure. People write him off as the cat-boy, or the pretty boy. Takao gets the story, Kai gets the fanfiction... Rei gets fangirls, true enough but so many people underesitmate him. They don't appreciate the integral part he plays at times and never remember that Takao said that he was the greatest blader he'd ever faced- AFTER he'd faced Kai (though obviously before Brook) ~_~
