Chiisai Bishoujo im not sure i understand? confused im very familiar with gimp, so what im basically getting from you is you just draw the outifts & take the sprite from a website? Yep ^^ that's what i do. I have a whole bunch of sprites >.> I suppose I should add the link to the first page you can use any of them ^^ but yep that's all i do is take a prexisting sprite and add on the things i need (hair skirt ect) then to shade i select one larger area and then color it in one shade of the color i need then take away the part I want to keep that color and use another shade i use about 3-4 shades depending on the size of the object ^^

Dark-Velvet-Revolver Sermaster2 Lol you must be an awesome person to do all this for free XD I'm just really nice is all and sometimes i get rewarded for my niceness with large tips ^^ which is good so its not like i'm totally out on a limb XD Still need to find a cute outfit to go with two items i want to get at some point >.> from the double rainbow i want to get Highwire Victoria and Cloud Iridescence but idk about an outfit for the cloud item no items really match those hair colors >.> (also waiting for the price to finally even out.) With all you're doing for people, I'm pretty sure you will get the tips necessary to buy your items XD Anyway, good luck with everything biggrin

I use Paint and some bases I found on DA where they have nothing and actually draw everything together on Paint. Then I just go on GIMP and remove the background and save it as a png. It's easier for me. I've only ever used GIMP for pixel work for things like Gaia...

Lol I've been working on a sprite for a week but I end up using paint. How are you able to move one pic close to another without getting all the white stuff in between?

Lol I've been working on a sprite for a week but I end up using paint. How are you able to move one pic close to another without getting all the white stuff in between? Well i have an application on my program that allows me to use a transparency so there is no background I'm not sure what program you use but it all has to do with selecting as close to the image as possible to keep the white from overlapping. (this is in programs like paint and such) My program allows me to select only the object i want to its easy enough to do.

(Btw I edited my form for the other forum)that's fine and look at the first tutorial image for reference you see when you open a new document the Advanced options thing you click it so the extra stuff pops up then you click fill with and click transparency it will give you what looks like a gray checkered background but it does not show up when you post. Also if you use gimp and you have a white background select the area you want either with the lasso tool or the square tool then use the Fuzzy select tool (the one that looks like a wand) and at the top where you see the little red boxes click the third one then click what ever background you have it will subtract the background from your selection removing any white so when you cut or copy the image you will not see the bg ^^ does this help?
