Kane was about to follow her but tripped on an untied shoelace and rolled down the stairs. "I'm okay!" he replied dizzily getting back up.

Dakota jumped at hearing him fall down the stairs. She jumped and spun around. "Are you sure?" She asked caringly.

"Of course," replied Kane before taking a seat with his stomach jumping in excitement. For a minute there he actually thought that he had seen small birds fluttering around his head. "I'm positive."
