After they had both finished up and, thankfully, while Keith was still coming back, Conor had noticed positively the most horrifying thing he had yet that evening. Well, aside from him fearing his own death and all that – the condom broke. He had been about to just toss it on the ground for one of the kids to pick up later – hey, he didn't give a ******** who put it in the garbage or not, he just didn't feel like being the one to do it right then when he had food downstairs for him to dash off to. ..But, before he could start running downstairs like a child, silently challenging a race to the other that Keith probably would just ignore or shrug at, if anything, he had noticed a tear and it didn't take much for him to realize Keith would be freaking the ******** out the second he saw it. How did he know? It wasn't like Keith constantly told him that STDs were scary s**t, like how Conor never said that he was afraid of horses – it was just something he picked up on as, after years of being with the guy and watching him screw others and/or screwing said other, he had seen maybe one or two condoms break that Keith too saw. He didn't attack him and he didn't really take off running or crying screaming like Conor would if he was so much as brushed by a horse – he freaked. Like the sort of freaking one would expect of Keith – blood. Lots of blood.
Conor had always cared about Keith, true, and he had hid it back then out of concern for the other, but, if it was ever possible, he was much more.. attached now. To a point that Keith accidentally hurting himself, whether it was a lethal injury or not, was something that scared him almost as badly as horses – maybe even more. So, it was with much more speed and panic than normal that he balled up the condom and kept it tightly in his fist. Maybe a little gross, but, hey, it wasn't like it wasn't his condom and it was much better than stuffing it in his mouth. ..Waaaay better. He looked at Keith until the guy left the shower before diving towards the drain and proceeding to stuff the used latex down it as fast as he could, until it was hardly recognizable! Even if it was, he had stood up and carefully stood in front of it when the man turned back to talk to him, nodding his head eagerly to keep the guy's eyes on him rather than his feet. Not that he ever thought Keith would have a particular interest in staring at his feet, but, well, Keith just had a knack for knowing where to look. So, Conor didn't put it past the other to glance down even if there was no real reason to.
He frowned – hadn't he always been into it? Conor gave Keith a somewhat confused look as he started to listen to what he had to say, forgetting the condom-panic in favor of thought. Granted, that was.. much more enjoyable than usual, which didn't mean the other times weren't, Conor had just been more.. uh.. eager than usual? He didn't know what to call it or how to say it that didn't really go back on his previously implemented conclusion that that had been enough. It was like he was trying to.. say something or.. some s**t.. Before he could formulate it into words, though, Keith had taken away his responsibility to explain it after a kiss and, with a slap, he left with the reminder of food downstairs. ..Food. Seafood. ********, yeah, Conor so wasn't going to just sit around and try to give his thoughts some kind of coherent words! He was going downstairs to stuff his face full of orange-flavored seafood salad and enjoy his ******** time as best as he could – time that would be just sweeter knowing Keith was happy. He started back out of the bathroom and glanced at the stairs – he could run down there naked.. or he could get some clothes. Conor didn't give a s**t about maintaining decency and he hardly cared if the kids saw him naked – hey, they should see him so they knew what a good ******** body looked like! He didn't want them going around thinking that they could ever match up to his greatness because of some sex education teacher coddling them into believing everyone looked great.
But.. He hadn't dried himself off at all – he was too lazy and hurried to really do that – and he was cold now that he was out of the hot shower.. So, he guessed it would just be in his own benefit if he got dressed. That didn't mean he was going to take his time with it, though, as he turned to make a quick dash off to their bedroom to find whatever the ******** was closest. A t-shirt – no, wait, that was Keith's. ******** him and his skinniness. Conor had to spend an extra three seconds tugging off the tight shirt to grab the next one which was, thankfully, his own shirt. The color wasn't screwed up by John or anything and it didn't have any of those annoying buttons, so it was with little more decision making on his part that he grabbed a pair of jeans and started to pull them on while heading back out in an awkward hop that he sure as hell as happy no one was around to see. He didn't bother with the buttoning and zipping because, hurried as he was, he didn't want to have any accident to have him tripping down the stairs. He simply pushed on to the dining room and kitchen – but not before looking into the living room upstairs to change the television to a black and white cowboy movie instead of the retarded cartoon they had on. The kids weren't in the room, to his surprise, but he figured that they would come back out eventually and, when they did, they would be watching whatever the ******** Conor had on! They would learn to appreciate good television, damn it! He walked back down the stairs, moving by the kids' bedroom, inside of which was John busy staring in a begging fashion at Quentin for some food since daddy hadn't given him any.
Conor entered the kitchen with one thing in mind – eat. So, it was without any further ado, that he sat down at the table.. counter.. island.. whatever the ******** they wanted to call it – it had a chair and a plate for him. In fact, two plates! One was probably for Keith, but, eh, he still took a bite from it anyway just because he knew that, one, Keith had probably gone equal and that meant Conor wasn't getting as much as he needed and, two, Keith could easily be talked out of any annoyance with a quick comment on weight. Yeah, not the nicest thought, but, hey, Conor liked his seafood and not even Keith could get in the way of something as brilliantly done as orange seafood. ********, how could Conor have not thought about combining the best flavors into one awesome mix~? He continued to shovel the salad in without much pause because, damn it, it was good and he wasn't gonna stop until the horrible moment that – ..that.. It was all gone. He scraped his fork over the plate with a frown, picking up the remnants of the orange flavor and some bits of seafood on it, though the bite wasn't nearly enough. So, he looked at Keith's plate and stared. ..Well, John had to learn the staring tactic from someone.

Had Conor just died and been reincarnated himself into a bullet? Considering the pace he was going back and forth through the rooms, it was highly likely that this was what ha happened. Keith simply rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's actions and laugh to himself. Sometimes, Conor was acting even more childish than there two kids... three... No, two. It was part of his charms... or something. He wasn't sure. Either way, Keith like it. It was part of who Conor was and him not being like that wouldn't make him Conor... Yeah, he had to lie to himself in order to stop himself from hitting Conor every now and then when he was doing things like that. One of the little compromise he had to do in order to make their relationship being the best on the island. He walked down the stares and noticed a Conor eating furiously in his plate right away. ********, the boy sure hadn't wasted any time into pigging out. By the time Keith had sat in font of his plate and picked up his fork, Conor had already done eating and was now staring at him with big huge puppy eyes. Keith stared back... for a second. He smirked and pushed his plale back toward his boyfriend. God, he was such a pig. "Here, you can have mine. No need to lucking ook at me like if you're ******** starving.", he said with a smirk. He wasn't that huge of a seafood fan anyway. He still had some lemon pepper chicken from yesterday in the fridge. He could eat that. "I take it you love it?", he asked Conor after resting his head against his open palm. Did he really have to ask that question? He was pretty much stating the obvious there. Either Conor just love that food, or he had been secretly starving himself for the past week and, concidering their grocery bill, it wasn't likely.

Oh, ********, yes~! Conor hadn't been happier to see a second serving of food be allowed access by him before, but he wasn't one to question whether it was a good sign or not that he had such a sudden appreciation for the pleasantry. He carelessly shoved his first plate to the side and snagged up the second, dragging it before him to start to eat it with absolute delight. Hell, he was wishing for a large spoon to better help scoop it into his mouth so he could further enjoy it, but, at the same time, he was vaguely aware that he should be slow and enjoy the food so he didn't lose the dish as quick as he had the first. But, Conor was a child when it came to things he liked, as exhibited by his nature towards Keith. So, it was with little resistance that he let himself engorge on the orange-flavored seafood in front of him. He only paused – much to his own surprise – when Keith spoke, basically swallowing a shrimp whole as he looked at him. His first poke earlier on Conor appearing starved was ignored, but this next line, even if it was said casually, contained enough to capture his attention. He quickly swiped a tongue over his lips before he spoke, slow and strangely careful, “Yeah.. I, uh, love.. it.” He swallowed despite his mouth being empty, taking the fork he had been flicking anxiously in hand to dip it back into the plate and refill that bottomless hole with more. Need a moment? Try a ceviche!
That wasn't so ******** hard, was it? His chewing had slowed some, his fork spinning the next spiked scallop into the plate idly as he mushed up whatever chunk of fish was in his mouth. He could say the word. He knew he could say the word.. when it was about dead, delicious fish on his plate. So, what did that mean, eh? He brought the scallop to his mouth and bit down on that as well, considering the little mollusc that had managed to earn his.. uh, feelings before Keith had. Seriously, the ******** had the mollusc done for him that really made it so much deserving – so much easier to... confess.. kinda.. sorta.. to before Keith? ...Was he seriously wasting his time thinking about a ******** mollusc? When did he learn what a mollusc was, anyway? Looked like something had managed to make it into his head from school.. Or it could have been from a one-sided conversation some time ago when he was attempting to work in the city. Yeah, he would peg it to that. ..Oh, ********, this was getting annoying. He swallowed once again, but rather than moving on to taking up another bite, he set the fork down. Alright. He could do this. ********, yeah, he was ******** Conor, he could ******** do it.
“Dude.” Step one was done. He had gotten the other's attention and now it was time to stare at him seriously so he knew he wasn't ******** around. ..Well, he would if his eyes were listening to him and not focusing on the hand over his fork instead. ..'Kay, so, he didn't need to ******** look at him. “I, uh.” No, no, he wasn't ******** stuttering. Damn it, Conor wasn't ******** Lucy. He could do this! There wasn't any reason why this would be scary – uh. It wasn't. Scary. No. Not at all. ..Then why was he taking so long? Whatever part of his head had decided to point that out was met with a middle finger and a scowl – <********> if he was afraid or some s**t like that! Hell, he would ******** prove it! “Dude, I love you or some s**t like that, 'kay? Just so you ******** know, 'cause, uh..”
All thoughts of pride and boast over how, oh, ********, yes, he wasn't afraid of something shitty like this were swiped away as he recalled that.. Yeah. Yeah, he was scared. He didn't understand it and he didn't like admitting it, but it was a fact one had trouble ignoring when faced with it. But, he wasn't going to run off or something. He averted his eyes to his plate to find that he didn't really feel like finishing right then, so he stood up in a totally not running away fashion and took both the plates in hand. Normally, he would call John down to do them, but leaving the room felt like he was, well, hiding. But sitting there twiddling his thumbs didn't seem like something he would like to do, so to the sink he went to fiddle with the dishes instead. Having his back to the other didn't count, right? Nope. So, no one could say he was being a coward or some ******** up s**t like that. “You done? I'm done. I'll get it too, the ******** dish, so, uh, leave it, yeah, 'kay?” See, he was even talking to Keith! Albeit, he was more so muttering it and saying something completely out of character of him, but, eh, this entire moment hadn't felt very 'Conor' to him, so he wasn't really screwing up much.

Keith had gotten up and went to get himself some leftovers from the fridge while Conor had his little debate in his head. To say it or not say it~ Ah, such a hard question to pondering unpon when you were Conor. Of course, Keith had no idea that his boyfriend and been trying to find a way and/or a moment to say those three little words for the season or so, but he had noticed a slight change of behaviour on Conor’s part. The man, however, had only pegged it to Conor finally getting a little bit mature and hadn’t thought twice about it, but really, even If he would have paid more attention to it, Conor saying ’Ilove you’ would have been the last thing to ever cross his mind. Not that he didn’t know Conor’s feeling, seriously, after 9 years of knowing each others, it wasn’t hard to know how the other was feeling, but Connor… Well, let’s just say that he never would have pegged him to be the kind that needed to say his feelings. He was more the kind to act on them, which was why instead of saying he was sorry, he would have given Keith a random handjobs, not that either was complaining about that. In fact, Conor saying he was going to do the dishes was enough of a ‘love you’ for Keith.
That, however, did not meant that the man wasn’t appreciating the gesture. In fact, it made him smile and feel all fuzzy-wuzzy inside. Yes, Keith was feeling Fuzzy-Wuzzy and anyone who had a problem with that could get themselves stabbed five times in the guts. He stared at Conor for a moment, trying to decide how to act, when finally, there was only one obvious choice left to him. He got up from the chair at the table and walk to were Conor was standing, next to the sink, and grabbed him from behind, pulling him in a small hug. ”You’re stupid,”, he said to Conor, a grin still on his lips as he moved closer to his neck in order to kill it lightly. ”I knew already.” He brushed Conor’s hair at that, like and older brother teasing his younger sibling. Not that it was his intentions, but still, from an outsider point of view, that is how it would have looked. ”Why else would you have locked yourself in my room when I was being all dead if you didn’t?” He asked him softly. Why softly? Was he afraid that the kids would hear them which would instantly destroy any form of authority he held against them? Oh, don’t be silly now. He could still beat them up anytime he felt bored. No, the soft tone was because… well, as muh as he would hate to admit it, It was because it made it all sound more romantic. Damn that Bela and that one day she had left the TV on Days of our Lives, getting him hooked instantly. Not that he ever watched it in secret when no one was home! Nope. Not at all. Never. He did it when he went over to Gladice to ‘try new recipe’. ”I love you too, you know. You saw what happened the one time we weren’t together.”

The sound of the chair scraping as it was pushed back, cluing Conor in that the other was indeed planning on leaving without a word – which was ******** cool. Yeah. Conor just confessed to the dude, it was totally alright that he didn't want to say anything back and just leave him standing there. Yes, Conor would be so ******** cool with it that it wouldn't even be funny. If he felt anything at the thought that he was rejected and he was being a ******** stupid, then it was just anger. But, he didn't. 'Cause if he was angry, it was all about this <********> plate and had nothing to do with anything else. Which was why he was scrubbing so furiously at the plate with a dry sponge because that was how ******** dishes were done. ..Or, well, he was too busy attacking his plate with a sponge to notice he hadn't put any soap or water on it at all. What could he say? He didn't do dishes that often and he was pretty damned distracted at that moment. ..Or not, because he didn't care – unless. He paused in his fruitless scrubbing, slowing to hardly a flicker of movement as he felt and saw arms move around him. Too tall to be John, who stupidly would attempt to hug Conor or pat him whenever he acted like this alone, and there wasn't anyone else who would dare to touch him in that way aside from.. Keith. He didn't take any hesitation in dropping the plate because dishes were boring and, if Keith cared, then he did. The guy wouldn't hug him if he didn't think it mattered, right? ********, Keith probably was being dumb too and taking his time in saying it or –
Or Conor was the dumb one. Whatever inflation in his emotions to sooth the pride he felt had been harmed at the other's lack of response was suddenly back down under and, perhaps, even further than it was before. It headed straight by anger to something more smothering – and not in the good way, but it wasn't as bad as.. Oh, ******** it all, Conor couldn't think of anything worse. He was busy in his self-pity, half wondering why the ******** he was always being yanked around like this. Was it just him? Or was it that every time he tried to go a little deeper into his emotions, try to think, or anything along those lines, he would end up ******** instead of any of that 'clearness' that he was ******** promised? He probably should have learned that – what the ******** was Keith doing? After that 'stupid' comment, Conor had spent the next second letting his excitement drain away rather than pay attention to the fact the guy hadn't exactly 'left' him like he was thinking so firmly. In fact, he was kissing his neck. ..Did he want to ********? Well, Conor was all for that. Anything to cover up his ******** idiocy right there.. But, before he could turn around and proceed with that thought, he noticed that Keith was still talking.
He knew? The statement caught him off guard, surprisingly enough. It hadn't occurred to him that anything he had ever done could be considered 'loving' or even a sign that he cared about the other beyond, well, the.. thing they were before. Especially with Blaire. Everything he had done seemed natural enough that he had presumed Keith was taking it the same way he was – it wasn't anything special. But.. either something he had done before or said or some s**t like that had to have been enough because.. Keith wasn't a ******** mind reader. He could act like it at times and, yeah, Conor was occasionally convinced that the guy probably could, but it wasn't true. So, if Keith hadn't asked him that next question, Conor would have likely stood there wondering just what it was he did do for some time. Instead, he found himself answering the rhetorical question silently. Free food. A bed. An incapable of resisting person to hold. But, Conor knew that wasn't right. He would have pegged it to guilt binding him there, but.. ********, how often did Conor feel guilt? Even if it had been guilt, Keith would have had to have been something for him to feel it that deeply. It would have worn off by then, after all, and.. Yeah. There was no denying it now.
Conor would have likely been content with just that. The acceptance was enough to content him into dropping the dishes for John to do, going upstairs to lay back in bed and wait for Keith while generally considering how wonderful the day had been. Seriously, hurricane aside, the meal was awesome and he finally said something worthwhile – that Keith had been happy with. But, rather than taking that course of action, he was thwarted again. He loved him too. It was said so much more.. casually than he had done it, with no attempts at dodging any adversity to it or, well, ********, it was just confident enough that Conor couldn't shrug it off as just the usual response. It was – <********>. Conor wasn't really sure what it was. He was aware of it, sure, and he got it, yeah, but he never heard it directed at him. The words, at least, to where he wasn't even sure if it was possible – but, it had happened and he wasn't sure if this relieved him, made him feel like s**t, or was ******** awesome as hell.. But, it didn't change anything, whatever he felt, so it didn't matter. For once, Conor didn't give a flying ******** how he felt right then because Keith loved him. Of ******** course Keith loved him – he was ******** Conor. It didn't take a single thought to have him turning back around and squeezing the ******** out of Keith. It was intended as a hug, but he hardly noticed how tight it had ended up and he didn't give Keith much of a chance to point that out as he simultaneously pushed the other to the island behind and shoved his mouth over Keith's. A bit sudden, perhaps, but that was what happened when Conor turned off his thoughts completely with Keith.
Somewhere within what was certainly moving directly towards sex, John had done the stupid thing of going downstairs and heading for a glass of water. Lucky for him, his innocence was saved as either Conor or Keith – it was hard to tell for the boy – had been taking a shoe off at the same moment. The object smacking into John's head was the last thing he would remember before he most likely woke back up to consciousness and crawled upstairs to rest in bed.
~Time-Skip~ [ And you can bet there's lots of 'I LOVE YOU ******** YES' during which D'< EDIT1 :: Also, totally, no condom. D< KEITH BETTER SUCK IT UP. EDIT2 :: Literally. ;D /couldn'tresist]

Daffodil loved it when there were households with multiple children, and this one had three! ...Of course, it took her a few tries to figure out which house she had to go into -- humans were so funny, building two houses together that looked like one! After zooming around blindly for a moment or two, the fairy quickly found her way back on track as she stumbled upon Quentin and John's room. Pleased that she had found her destination, she quickly set about handing out her presents -- a puzzle, for John, of a bunch of farm animals, and for Quentin, a wooden dragon building set. She placed the two boxes next to the bunkbeds before going on to find Eet.
She had flown over the table under which Eet slept several times before realizing that she had found him -- she needed to slow down, she was getting confused! But she was just so busy... After regaining her sense of direction, she placed Eet's present -- a set of blocks, with pictures painted on the side -- on top of the table. Her work here was done, and so she hurried off to the next house. This time, she wouldn't get lost!

-Carnation-
Coming to the Duplex, Carnation had to take a moment and think about these two. They hated themselves to the core, yet they pleasured themselves to the core. What? They promised not to mentioned it again, she made no such claim so. And even then it was that pink haired woman's planning... which all the fairies enjoyed watching to be clear. Oh five years and they were still giggling about it. Now back to business, she would start in Conor's side of the Duplex, rather Alanis' but those are technicalities. Such a good kid, to think he was a disappointment five years ago. Now he had a job, a good girlfriend, even went to the Hot Springs-No wait wrong follower. But he was doing better, socializing could be improved, and getting a clue too. Yes he should work on that. Standing at the male's bedside table, and being glared by a lazy turtle, Carnation left a letter addressed to Lucas Grey next to a small chocolate and vanilla cake. The flavors swirled and all. Proud of that, the fairy poofed her way out of this side of the Duplex and stopped by other, and into the male's shared room. Oh male lovers... Carnation didn't fantasize it, but it did look rather cute, even these two when they were asleep. Well in any corner that didn't have stuff on it she left a letter addressed to Conor Alvey next to a pretty big vanilla cupcake with some pink frosting. Her work was done here, so off she was!
Dear Lucas~
Lucas! Dear firefighter! I think this year we've been improving mister! Not as much as we'd like, but way more than our first years huh kiddo? You finally moved out and with your girl~ Progress man, progress! That's what you humans are all about after all. Score some extra points and visit me mister. V.I.S.I.T. You could even take Alanis out there~ Wink wink... Nah that's what Ilex likes to watch. No I think it's Lavender.. Oh one of them. Speaking of which, get out more, you don't have to get along with my followers there a whole bunch of others for you to choose from! Get to work on that! Also, p.s.? Wedding ring. Think about it. She may crazy and psychotic, albeit cute to you, but she loves you.
From your fiery leader...
Dear Conor...
You... You don't know how much grief I've gotten from you because of everything you pulled. Actually you do know, those last letters I left your ungrateful behind were the longest I've ever written. Because YOU. And I thought he was my biggest disappointment! No no, YOU. YOU. Well to soothe over your feathers, you did take up the business, and you seem to doing well with your buddy... that and the kids, which you could be doing better with them frankly. All of them. I don't hear about another stupid thing you do! If you visited me then I'd probably forget about this, but since you're ungrateful then no. Come on! The Hot Springs don't bite you idiot! Even cowboys used them! When? Well I don't know, they just did. I do know that you like fire, and I don't want to hear about sudden fires in the place. Or else your head will be on fire and we'll see how you like that.
From your fiery leader...

Next up was the last of Lily's ultimate favorites, Alanis LeBlanc. Such a lovely girl, she was~ And her house was so nice and quaint! But she couldn't let herself dawdle or get distracted by decor, she had to hurry and get everything delivered. And so she made her way to Alanis' room, eyes firmly fixed ahead. As she settled into the girl's room, she glanced around in search of a place... Ah ha! The desk! She fluttered over and landed on the back of the chair, setting down a package on the desk. Inside was a knitted hat, made out of soft, pink yarn, with a sparkly pom-pom on the top. Next to that, she set down a light blue letter addressed to Alanis.
Dear Alanis, another good year for you, it seems. I've seen how hard you've been working with Lucas! He's a nice boy, yes, but I'm not sure... Anyway, just continue being patient, I'm sure he'll come around eventually. Afterall, you're a lovely girl, why wouldn't he want to marry you? In the meantime, you should go out and spend some time with other people. I'm sure your grandmother would be glad if you paid her a visit. Or maybe you can have a chat with Zelynity, she's a kind girl, too. Or you could even come and visit me in the field! There will be lots of lovely flowers there come spring. Wouldn't that be nice?
