Lucifer looked down at her,his hair covering his other eye.
He chuckled quietly.
"You'd have to be my slave in order to pay be back." He said,scoffing a bit.
He pointed to the price tag of the dress.
"$450.87. The dress alone." He stated.
He crouched down again , looking at her intensely in the eyes.
"Are you sure you can pay me back?" He asked.
Considering the clothes she had on,he didn't think so.
He took out his Platinum card,giving it to the old hag lady.
"$2,485 is alright with you, Sir?" The old lady asked.
Lucifer nodded.
Paying for all her clothes,he awkwardly held all the bags.
Two thousand apples indeed.. ((Tehe! xD Lucifer hates it indeed,but cant help but do it. ))

Mari let out another squeak, followed by a few of consecutive squeaks. "I-I I'll do it! I'll be your slave!" She said rather loudly, getting a few strange looks from inside the store. Mari had rashly decided this. "I'll be your slave, and I'll pay the rest in money in about 4 months!" She bit her lip, she was going to have to rewrite her coin picking up plans. Alright, so if I'm his slave, I'm worth around $10, so $440ish? No problem...I can do this.. thought Mari as she was making quick calculations in her mind, Okay! So for one month, 24/7 I shall pick up coins, then the next month, I'll do it 3 days a week, then the next month will be one day, and then lastly, I'll do it every 2 weeks! I should have enough by then.. Mari's right hand tightened around her plushie that she had dragged out to the mall.

Lucifer stopped walking.
When he turned around,his eyes had grown pitch black.
"Little miss, that's a deal you shouldn't make," His voice sounding harsh,yet smooth.
He continued walking,signaling her to follow him.
Lucifer planned to buy her some shoes, especially for that dress.
She has no idea what I am.
He scoffed. I'm not some lonely human.
I'm A Servant,
A Guardian,
....
A Demon.

Mari stopped in her tracks as Lucifer stopped. His eyes were black, as if they represented darkness. He might not think I'm serious...but I will pay him back...somehow... thought Mari as she was upset. She continued to follow Lucifer as she kept quiet. Maybe, he thinks I'm troublesome and wouldn't be able to pay him back anyways...it's like Mother said, I'm useless... she thought as her breathing had gotten a bit short and rough. Mari clutched her plushie tightly as her left hand let go of Lucifer's shirt. Maybe..it'd be better if I left him alone...stay at home...like how Mom said... worried Mari, but at the same time. She didn't know how to get back to the dorms. Mari had stopped, and the wave of people around her had separated her from Lucifer. "L-Lucifer?" she said quietly and sighed. Mari found a bench and made her way over after battling the crowds of tall people. She sat on the bench and hugged her knees, Maybe..I shouldn't have left my parents...maybe this is why they kept me inside...so they wouldn't lose me... Mari sniffled as she hung her head down in shame for losing her roommate.

Lucifer turned around,expecting little Mari to be there. She wasn't.
W-where did she go?
He growled,his fangs showing.
Retracing his steps, he still couldn't find her.
Damn..
He walked around,pissed that he lost her.
He was about to disappear , when he saw a little girl sitting on the bench with her head hung low.
Mari!
He ran over to her,dropping the bags.
"Are you stupid? What would have happened If I di-" He stopped in midsentence.
He sighed and knelt down.
He lifted her chin,making her look at him,
"Are you okay?"

Mari remained in her position as she hugged her knees closer, trembling at the thought of being useless. She heard Lucifer's voice as he ran over. She tried to resist looking at Lucifer, but he was stronger. Mari had a stubborn and determined look on her face, "I-I'm okay," she said with a small smile, "I didn't mean to lose you.. I'm sorry... Please forgive me." Mari's green eyes stared into Lucifer's. "Don't hate me.." Mari said softly as her feet touched the ground and she stood up. She slowly walked over and picked up the bags, "If you leave them any longer, somebody might steal them," she noted as her small awkward self waddled over with the bags.

Lucifer looked at her.
"Those bags won't be stolen." He stated.
Suddenly, black ghost-like shadows appeared behind them and took the bags. Then the simply disappeared.
He sighed and stood up.
"Let's go get you some shoes." Lucifer said, holding out his hand

Mari watched at some shadows took the bags and left. "Okay," she answered quietly and took Lucifer's hand. Secretly pleased that he came back for her, rather than just disappearing and leaving her at the mall. Mari's small hand held his tightly as they walked through the mall.

They made it to a shoe store.
An employer, a girl in her twenties, saw Lucifer ,ignoring the fact that Mari was there.
"Hey! Welcome to Kutsu Chūdoku. Is there anything I could help you with?" The girl said, flipping her blonde hair.
Lucifer cursed under his breath and combed his fingers through his hair.
"No, not really." He said, irritation in his voice.
Oh Hades, Help me now.
The worker noticed Mari and said with too much enthusiasm , " Oh is this you're little sister? She's adorable!"
Lucifer's left hand twitched,itching to punch the girl's face.
He then smiled.
"This young girl is my... daughter." He stated,lying perfectly.

Mari followed Lucifer into the store as some girl began to chat up a storm. She noticed Lucifer's annoyance and giggled. The worker girl came over to Mari and suddenly called her his sister. Lucifer told her that she was his uh, daughter. Mari stifled her laugh and played along. Her tiny hand squeezed Lucifer's and she glanced at the worker, "D-Daddy," Mari began, "Shoes!" She pointed at the shoes, so they could escape the worker lady.

Lucifer looked down at her, happy she got his motive.
He smiled.
"Come here ,girl!" ,He said, lifting her up.
The worker girl stood there,astonished.
"Uhh..Well, Sir. What a beautiful.. daughter." She said, sounding disappointed.
Lucifer chuckled and took Mari to the section with her size.
"Thank you." He said,not looking at her.
His face showed no emotion.

"Eh?" Mari said as Lucifer lifted her up and took her away. She couldn't help, but let a small giggle escape as the sad worker turned away. They were in the kids section for shoes as Mari looked at the shoes. "Daughter, nice excuse," she joked with a smile.

"I can choose a pair!" Mari answered as Lucifer fixed her sliding hat. She had the oddest taste in fashion. Mari found a pair of plain brown loafers and seemed overjoyed at the discovery. "These'll work!" she said as her eyes shined brightly. She eagerly took off her cowboy boots and tried on the loafers. Mari gave Lucifer a thumbs up. Although he did look a bit awkward in the store. I hope Lucifer doesn't feel too out of place...following me around and whatnot in a mall...it must be strange for him.. she thought.
