Xao smirked at the falcon. "Time to light this place up..." He smirked as he took a swig of oil into his mouth.

Xao grabbed Lerin and flash stepped out of the way as he blew a huge fireball at the falcon.

The large bird rolled in an angry attempt to crush the two in a blinded rage, it struggled to stand but continued to thrash wildly. He smelled them,they were somewhere, he could still eat them, maybe get to them. Ravenous didn't get up however, he had put a bit of the fires out but not all of them. He shrieked, mostly out of anger and rage but there was a small cry for help too.
Liel was displeased with what had come to terms, she had been looking for Ravenous for a while and had yet to find him until she felt that burning pain run through her left arm, a phantom pain. She lifted her head, hearing the shriek and frowned, she knew where he was. Her white outfit billowed with her hair as she ran, coming upon Ravenous on fire, laying on the ground. "What have you gotten yourself into little guy?" She dropped next to him, pulling his large broken beak into her lap as she put out the smaller fires and rubbed his face. Her squawked at her, his tongue poking out through one of the larger cracks in his beaks as Liel pulled out her arm from her sleeve, white finger bones instead of a fleshy hand rubbed the burnt Falcon's face, fixing his burns and tears. "What would you do without me, hmm?" She softly murmured to him as she brushed the bony hand against his face. "What were you trying to eat so badly that you got yourself lite on fire? I guess whatever it was really was not fond of being made out to be a meal...Perhaps you should choose something better to go after then." She smiled as the bird made a small croak sound before looking around, he knew that they hadn't left. He could smell them, the two that got away and it frustrated him, his feathers stood up on end and Liel frowned, "Whatever it is obviously did enough damage to make you stop, perhaps think twice about going after it again."

"Oh, if anyone should be sorry it should be me. I do know better than to leave him alone! Sometimes he just gets a little...food-crazed." Liel smiled at Lerin, appreciating the offer but politely refusing, "While I thank you for your generosity it truthfully would not do Ravenous any good to have traditional medicine. If anything it'd do more damage than good." Liel smiled at Lerin and Xao and stood up, patting the large falcon's beak as the bird stood up beside her, poking at her with it's beak. She turned, removing from her belt a small dead animal, holding it out for Ravenous who gladly took the small prize and swallowed it whole in a moment.

"He doesn't mean to, he just gets a bit...too excited over certain things." She frowned at the mentioning of a collar. "I did have a harness on him but I am not sure where it has gone to..."
"I apologize for him trying to...eat you both. I didn't think he'd attack anyone while unsupervised.' She smiled before adding, "I'm not sure if we have been properly acquainted with one another though. I'm Liel, and this bony mass of feather is Ravenous. It's a pleasure." Ravenous was not amused and snorted, blowing burnt feather bits into the air before shaking his head and puffing himself out, trying to make himself look even larger than he was, pushing cracked and broken ribs out at odd angles. Liel looked at the large bird and he exhaled slightly but still ruffled his feathers in displeasure. She quickly sighed, "I apologize for him, he's easily upset, especially when he doesn't get something to constantly eat."

Xao frouned. "Cricket..." He said with a very dull voice as the cricket appeared before them. "Enjoy that now, I went through no trouble to catch it."
