'Why what's wrong?" He noticed the Swarm had stopped, was the training over "Hey looks like we won, okay cap'n game's over"
"On the contrary, it's just started" He returned the voice on the room so he could communicate with the two again "Now comes the most interesting part of the game, the part where your friend is your foe" He smirked in his little perch "Don't see it as a cruel trick, it could very well happen on the battlefield, and if you can't kill them, well you know the rest" He placed his finger against his chin again "Enjoy children, loser gets latrine duty for a week" While he boasted his cleverness to them the connection inside her armor activated and started targeting Giga as the next opponent, ARDI had created a simulation that was so real it almost was and they made sure to add every little detail on the enemy including this infection scenario

"Dammit, Faust, this isn't funny!" She struggled a bit, still trying to regain control of Luth. "C'mon, girl... stop it! Giga and Alaster are on our side... Alaster, get away while you can... no telling what that nutjob's gonna have me do to you... besides...wouldn't be the first time I've and to clean up after people... just go. I'll take this loss... for once... for now..." Kris gritted her teeth and continued to fight against Luth to keep her in line. "God dammit, f***ing, son of a b****!"

"Hang on Kris, I got this" He looked around, trying to remember the exact spot the power source was "I guess finding it once before wasn't a bad thing after all" He charged his gauntlet and aimed a blast at the floor, tearing up the actual room and revealing the exposed generator "Game over Faust" He dug his blades into the ground and destroyed the whole simulation along with the power. It was dark for a few seconds and he swore he heard some odd voice in the pitch black, it sounded almost like it was coming from Giga itself. It wasn't too long before the back up kicked in and the room was lighted again.. He quickly removed the armor and and walked over to Kris "Hey, that could've been worse"
"Hmhmhm the kitty cat's got a mouth on her doesn't she" He was amused, but then saw the room go black "What the, that little b*****d..." He sighed and decided not to get irritated from it, he was just disappointed he didn't get to see their skills pit against each other "Fine you're both dismissed, tata for now" He left the room and headed back to his chambers for the rest of the evening, mumbling to himself along the way "There won't be an off switch in real life..."

Kris sighed heavily and waited until she was sure that the program was no longer effecting Luth before she de-summoned her armor.
"Thanks, Alaster..." Her eyes looked tired as she rubbed the back of her head. "Well...that was different..."

"Heh yeah, I guess they really want to make you feel like the real thing, it was kind of scary though, I almost thought we were about to fight each other" He looked up at the empty seat in the control room "Training or not, he had no right to use something like that, not without letting us know first" He turned back to Kris and looked over to the door "We'd better go, I have a feeling we're not going want to be around here when the repair crew gets here"
Faust got a report on his databank, responding to it as usual then opening up the private fridge to pour a glass of red wine and sipping it slowly, such as his rich and smug kind did "I'd say they might have hope just yet, unfortunately the kitty cat needs work on her anger management and the mutt is too loyal to his friends, it's going to get him killed or infected"
"Loyalty is a trait of a dying breed Faust, you shouldn't look down upon it, much like you do with everything else" The general looked over the report from Faust and nodded every few times "Alright, this will do, expect your first mission at o eight hundred tomorrow, dismissed"

She smiled weakly and brushed some of her hair away from her face."Yeah... I've heard stories about you and your uh... messes... you leave for the repair crew..." She kept relatively close to him as they left the training facility.
"You know..." Kris whispered, "If that does happen in the real world, there won't be a way to stop the fight that might ensue...I'm gonna have to fight you, or you're gonna have to fight me... or worse. We'll have to try and take on el Captain again..." She turned and looked at him, her expression probably the softest she had ever worn around anyone in ARDI. "As much as I hate to admit, I could almost see the reason behind his thinking..." The soft expression shifted to a bit of a smirk. "But he's still more then likely a mentally insane jerk."

"heh yeah, They're trying to ban me, but the higher ups want everyone to train daily" He looked down, thinking about what she said "I know, it's just I already lost so much from them, I didn't want to lose another person, I guess I got caught up in the moment" He looked at his glove silently, still in deep thought, it was usually the gesture he made while he contemplated on things "I wonder what he meant back there, about unlocking our Automonises full potentials?"
"It's a fool's trait.." He scoffed and took another sip of his wine, nodding slightly "Understood" He watched the screen minimize and disappear while he continued to enjoy his beverage "The things I have to swallow to continue this charade, oh well it will all be worth it in the end when the peasants chant my name as their savior and hero hmhmhm"

She sighed and began to play with a small chain necklace. "Who knows... There's probably a LOT of things we're not being told by the higher ups aren't telling us. But, not much we can do about it right now..." Taking another deep breath she held out her hand to him. "C'mon. Let's go grab something to eat..."

"We don't even know what Automonises really are" He nodded and took her hand slowly, trying to let go of the whole worrying "Yeah that would be nice, after that ordeal I could use some junk food" He followed her to the cafeteria and grabbed a tray "Just some water and a sandwich please" He got his food and sat down, didn't really feel like eating now Why am I getting so worked up from that raining session, maybe it wasn't the part almost fighting her, but that voice, where did it come from, did Giga actually try speaking to me?

Kristine joined him, having a small salad and a bit of soup in a bowl on her tray. She watched the boy for a minute, trying to figure out what thoughts were racing through his mind, but thinking better of it, she stabbed a few pieces of lettuce with her fork, but didn't bring the food up to her mouth. Instead, she swirled those pieces around on her plate, creating a design in the dressing that had overflowed from the greens.

He looked up and took a few sips from his water, then looking back at the sandwich "Uh Kris, you ever feel like these armors, are not just that, like when we use them we're bonding with them?" He wasn't sure how to explain it, but he had always felt a connection with Giga, but back when seeing Faust's Cancer the armor acted like nothing more than a machine, he showed no empathise for his Automonis, yet it held so much power was that the secret to unlocking its full potential, taming the Automonis "I think I'm going to turn in early tonight, maybe some sleep is all I need to get back to normal"

She thought a little about what he said. "Well, I guess there is a connection between me and Luth... it's hard to describe, though." She nodded at his statement about sleep though. "Alright. I'll see you in the morning." She took her plate and made her way towards her room for the night as well.

He made is way to his room slowly, still thinking about some things, but when he opened his door he found both his spot and his old room mate's taken by to other people "Um I believe you guys have the wrong room" He looked at him and laughed like he was some kind of idiot then shoved his out the room like jerks "Son of..." He took a deep breath then noticed something on his databank "All team mates are in the same rooms?" He didn't see anything about captain's he doubted Faust would even agree to living out of his fancy bubble "Well uh time for a late surprise I guess, I just hope she isn't asleep" He walked down the hall and up a few flights of stairs,eventually coming to the room on his databank "Kris, yous till up it's me, Alaster" He knocked on the door lightly, not wanting to wake her up if she was still asleep"
Faust has finished his wine and finely cooked steak, brushing his napkin against his lips like any well mannered person. He looked at the databank again and smirked, reading over the recent alert as if it was some hilarious prank in the newspaper "What happens when you put a cat and a dog in the same room hmhmhm"

When her databank hand gone off with the notice, she ignored it and rolled over in her bed. After all, she had just gotten comfortable for the night. When Alaster knocked on the door, however, she chucked her pillow at the door, but then realizing how difficult it would be to sleep without said pillow, she got up. Upon picking up the pillow, she sighed and opened the door a little, looking bleary eyed and her hair was already a mess. "Yeah? What is it? Faust wanting to run a midnight training session or what?"

"Well, uh actually we're roomies now, according to the notice, well that and I just got kicked out of my old room, bunch of jerks..." He sighed and rubbed the back of his head "Sorry for waking you up, it was either that or the cold floor" He took the other bed in the room a sat on it quietly "I make sure to keep it down" He looked at his core and removed it from his chestguard, slowly hooking it up to a recharger unit after all the beating Giga took today it surprisingly it still functioned "Night Kris"
