That post was weak.
I can expand that:
Leo sat on a chair in the mess hall,talking to Alex. His eyes surveyed his surroundings,taking everything in. There was a Dr.Pepper and a Cherry Coke in the fridge and an unopened root beer on the bar. He turned to Alex and asked,"Can you please pass me that soda?" Alex nodded and slid the root beer down to Leo. He popped it open and took a deep sip. Ahhh,how refreshing.
See how much better that is?

Leo was in the dinning room with his family joining a nice dinner. Leo turned to his older brother Brandon and asked, " Hey Brandon can you pass me the milk. Then Brandon turned to Leo and said, "Sure". He turned and graped the milk witch was by my younger brother Sam, and then turned back and handed Leo the milk. Leo then said "thank you" and Leo poured the milk in the glass.
