Nevaeh held Naeryn letting her make the first move when she was ready. "It's ok Nae you're not stupid or irresponsible. I placed the wine infront of you and practically made you take it. All we can do now is put this behind us. We can't change the past."
Javareth you have just earned the a**hole of the century award.
Oh thank you. I feel so honored. Javareth said sarcastically with a light snort.

Nae pulled away. "N-no, it was, I d-d-didn't want it t-to start l-like this..." Suddenly she blushed, bright crimson red. She opened her eyes wide in shock at what she said and backed away a little more. Grabbing a spare set of clothes, she tugged them on as quickly as she could, not bothering to tuck in her shirt or pull on the overvest, and ran out of the Weyrling barracks.

Nevaeh sighed and shook her head as Naeryn ran from the barracks. Well that went perfectly don't you think J. Javareth peered at the door way.
Just give her some time. Everything will work out. Nevaeh nodded. She knew Javareth was right.
With a light sigh Nevaeh stepped back over to her cot and folded up Naeryn's clothing and then she slipped out of her candidates robe turned night gown and put on her normal clothes. By this time Nevaeh was begining to feel the headache that usually came with the hangover she had also not noticed.
I'm going to head down to the lower caverns. If any anyone comes looking for me give them this. Nevaeh said placing a note in front of Javareth that said 'If you're looking for Nevaeh she's in the lower caverns with a nice cup of Klah.' I'll be back afterwards and we'll go get you something good to eat. With a wave Nevaeh left the barracks heading for the lower caverns.
((Off to the Fort Weyr Thread.))

Some muffled noises drifted over from the girl's side of the barracks, slowly waking one of the male residents of the other side. He blinked, not recalling actually falling asleep in his bed. The last thing he remembered was starting the trip back. On Amlaith's back.
Amlaith?
The green slowly opened one eye and crooned a soft questioning tone.
Did anyone see us last night? Will we get into trouble? The boy's tone was worried.
Amlaith crooned reassuringly at her rider. No. Everyone was too busy last night to see us. Even if they did, they won't remember it. Some of them did funny things last night.
Been listening to the other dragons?
It's not my fault that some of them think loudly... The green stretched, lightly nudging her rider with her snout. You want to do it again tonight, don't you?
R'dan blushed a bit, nodding. It's the closest we'll get until we can actually fly...
I like it. I like having you on my back. And Tarnith is very strong. His rider knows what he's talking about. If he says that that is how Tarnith got so strong, then I want to do it. I want to be strong. And fast.
You will be...
Now that the noise had died down, the boy pulled on some clean clothing. I'm going to go eat. You going to sun yourself again?
Yes. The sun feels good. I will stretch my wings a bit then sun. Then we can go tonight, when most won't be watching.
R'dan nodded. He really didn't want the others to see them. It was a sort of thing you wanted to do alone with your dragon. He reached out to lightly brush the green's hide with his fingertips before heading off to the Lower Caverns.

Kirana sighed as she fitted Tithenth with the riding straps she had finished maybe a few days before. Her legs were almost fully healed by now, but she was still avoiding everyone. She felt better on her own, just her, Tithenth, and Verde.
Ridermine, it is not healthy for you to be so...anti-social, Tithenth thought as Kirana sighed. You must be with your friends.
"No, Tithen... I'd just slow them down."
You are almost able to keep up again. And besides, it was not your fault you were sick...
"Either way..." Kirana whispered, sighing as she closed her eyes.
You do deserve me, ridermine... You do... Don't think you don't. If you didn't, I wouldn't have chosen you.
"I know, Tithen... But I stil feel like I'm not fufilling my position. Even if I'm still a weyrling, I am a gold rider. I should...I should be around more..."
Then be around more...
"I...I can't..." Kirana whimpered, bursting into tears as she leaned heavily against Tithenth, burying her face in her gold's freshly oiled hide. "I'm scared I'm not good enough for them...just like at the hall...just like everywhere."

After their lessons, R'dan and Amlaith had seperated. The green wanted to sun for a while and her rider went to oil the harness to keep it supple. That had been amazing. So much better than underwater. The boy sighed as he put the harness away and headed outside to go grab something to eat.
What he saw as he exited the Barracks, however, frightened him. It was a green about to Rise. Would Amlaith act like that one day? It scared him to think about that now. After all, the dragonets were growing older. Flights would come sometime soon for them all. And that really scared R'dan.

Faerra walked into the weyrling barracks, Mystith following behind. As Faerra sat down on her cot, the green came over, planting herself down on the floor beside Fae. Tao, Artemis and Makko chirped as they arrived, greeting Apollo, and in unison flying up and placing themselves on Mystith. Faerra smiled at them, before rumaging around and finding what she was looking for. She pulled out multiple long strands of a sort of silky, mulitcoloured rope. Mystith and the flits looked at it curiously.
What is it?
well, it will be a halter, once I finish it. I have a few more already made, to take to the gather. You can attatch reins to them too, so you can ride without a bit.
Though the green only partially understood, she nodded, a guesture she had picked up from her bonded, and watched the girl work.
Faerra picked up the unfinished halter, lying it across her lap as she twisted and braided the strands of rope together, sometimes finishing once off, and them starting a loop around it in strange, complex patterns that set off the different colours. Satisfied, she studied it, making little tweaks as she continued braiding and loping.

The current events of Nevaeh: -Nevaeh and Javareth are called to Weyrling lessons.
-Javareth and Nevaeh take their first ever flight together.
-Nevaeh and Naeryn disappear to the lake.
On a random note the current events thing was first made by Rayinte. Tis her idea I am only using it to keep up with Nevaeh and Javareth's recent doings.

Kirana sighed softly, pulling her hair up into a bun as she pulled her riding helmet on. She was all better now, but she was still afraid of stumbling when she got up on Tithenth.
You'll be fine, ridermine, Tithenth cooed.
"I hope... Let's go, Tithen..." Kirana said, wandering out of the Weyrling barracks.

"Why are you so excited?'
"There's a gather Spirith!" From the blank look the dragon gave her Myyth say Spirirth didn't get it.
"It's a huge party...there will be venders selling all kinds of things....danceing, good food. I'll get to see fort weyr....."
You could do some of that here, and there is more. I can see it on you face.. The amused draogn settled down on her couch, apraently ready to wait for Myyth to tell her, no matter how long it took.
"You are far too perceptive.....I haven't been to amny gathers...and this is the first time I won't have my mum looking over my shoulder, or making me man her stall. I never liked doing that....."
Pulling on her gather dress Myyth looked to see it fit well. It was deffinatly worth the makrs she'd payed for it a few weeks before. A dark red it had been embroded all along the cuffe, hem and neck line. The V neck was lower than her last gather's dress has been, but she thought it was a nice touch to the dress.
Besides, what were gathers for it not to show off?

(A post for Kale.) Kale pounced on his rock as he came closer to it. Wrestling with it for a few moments Kale chriped and growled biting the rock a few times to make it stay still as though it were alive. Stepping away from the rock he circled the rock watching it carefully before again pouncing on it and grabbing it in his claws. This time Kale took to the sky rock still in claws and headed for the Weyrling barracks where he could bury his 'kill' n the sheets of Nevaeh's bed.
Landing on his owner's bed Kale placed the rock aside for a moment and then began digging at the neatly made sheets pulling and yanking them free. Now Kale began to nudge the sheets with his muzzle into a round lump with a small little opening leading to the center of the lump. Once he was satisfied Kale brought the rock to the opening of the 'cave' hole in the sheets and using his muzzle pushed the rock into the center carefully concealing the hole so that nothing could get in. Then inspecting the sheets once again Kale took off from the bed and circled until he reached the rafters above so that he could watch his prize and not be noticed by any intruders. Kale was now ready for anything.

The barracks had been cleaned out not that long ago in preparation of the new group. The older weyrlings had moved out some time ago, each moving into weyrs of their own.

R'ign led a rather tired group of hatchlings and new riders the short distance to the Weyrling Barracks. "Males are here on the right and females are on the left." She gestured to each half. "Now, for those of you who aren't familar with the Weyr, the Lower Caverns are right over there." She pointed to the area where a good portion of people were heading and gathering.
--------------------------
N'lin urged Dartoloeth inside the male half, hoping to get a good bed for himself and the exhausted brown.

B'lint walked into the male side of the Weyrling barracks practically pushing Math as he was too big to carry. Seeing a few good beds close to the entrance to the Barracks B'lint took one up and settled the bronze Math down on the stone couch. Math yawned seemingly loosing all of his proud stature as tiredness and sleep took over him as he settled down on the couch and quickly fell asleep. B'lint sighed as the tiredness he had also felt because of Math slowly disappated as the bronze fell into slumber.

Guiding Emyrith to the left, Vena made it as far as the second bed before the green suddenly sat, refusing to move another inch. "C'mon then, curl up over here," the girl suggested, showing her dragon the low stone couch next to the bed. "I promise it will be much more comfortable than the middle of the floor."
You'd better be right, Emyrith grumbled, heaving herself back to her feet. Tiredly stumbling over to where her rider waited, she made herself comfortable on the couch. Hey, you're right! It is better! Now mumbling contentedly, the green curled up, shifting to a slightly more comfortable spot, and let her eyes slowly close. Standing over the lovely green, Vena watched as the dragon finally closed the final set of lids and peacefully slept.
