Nakago Once the Emperor had returned to his other advisors, and they were out of earshot of the emperor, he spoke, always to Tomo, though his attention was always seeming to be focused elsewhere.
"Have your company given rooms here, and take only the time you need for neccessary preparations. As soon as the rest of the Envoy is comlete, we will be leaving. From the sound of it...it is almost ready." "As you wish," Tomo said, meaning his words, "But I need no time for preparations, as long as your men provide provisions, everything else I need is already with me." He carried no bag with him, and so hoped that Nakago would understand. After following Nakago out of the throne room, he reunited with his companions.
"We will be given rooms, but I have some business to take of. There may well be a grand performance for the Emperor when I return. In the mean time, if he requires any service of you, fulfill it."
Tomo saw a passing servant girl, and flagged her down. "If you would be so kind," he said to her with a charming smile, "The Emperor has just granted my theatre troupe stay in the palace. We shall be needing rooms for quite a few people..." He motioned to one of his companions, "Ken-zhi, would you mind sorting out the details with this lovely young lady?"
Leaving the flattered servant to talk with the actor, Tomo pulled his other companion aside, "Shing, I want you to go back to the caravan and tell the others what I told you. And tell them not to do anything foolish."
"Because what we do reflects back on you, doesn't it? It's not like you own this troupe or anything..." Shing said, less than happy,
Tomo lowered his voice, "If anyone jeopardizes my position here, I will kill them."
Shing raised a brow, "Is that a threat, Ryo?"
To Shing's surprise, Tomo smiled, "No, no, just a joke. You should get going though, it is best to have all this settled before it gets dark."
"Alright then, take care doing your business then," Shing said before departing. He was not quite able to shake the cold glint in Tomo's eyes. Shing was certain Tomo had been serious, and though he knew little of Tomo's abilities as a seishi, he was also certain that it was a threat that could be easily followed up on.

Argh sry it took me so long to post! Been busy but don't worry should be able to post daily from now on. Don't mind you being NPCs Nakago, in fact, it's rather helpful smile
'This place is a dump,' Tasuki thought but not without feeling. The bandit felt a good deal of pity for the poverty striken people surrounding him and it seemed the further he drew to the palace the worse their state got as opposed to more prosperous.
He looked up at the looming palace and was caught between a grin and a frown. 'I'm here at last but uh...how the Hell am I gonna get in there?' "Where the Hell is Kouji anyway?" he wondered aloud. 'Oh well I guess he'll have to accept whatever I steal as proof.'
With a wide, fanged grin the bandit approached the palace confidently, oblivious to any stares from the locals.

Kouji had gotten lost, part of him knew it and fully admitted it whilst the other part was blissfully unaware of it. Somehow, and he didn't quite know how, the bandit had managed to wonder out of the main body of Kutou's main city and seemed to be in a more rural area.
"I think I hear voices," he remarked aloud. "Genrou is going to kill you," he then told himself. "Not that he can steal anything from the palace," he then added. He looked ahead for the source of the voices. Not to far ahead he thought he could make out at least two people. "Maybe they know where I am," he said thoughtfully heading towards them. "Yeah Kouji, good idea," he then praised himself.
Life as a bandit, often confusing with much fighting but always exciting. Eventually he'd find Genrou and then laugh at his failings to rob the palace or cry because they'd both been caught and tossed into jail. 'Really don't feel much like prison today,' he decided.

Kitty Little "Yeah," Suboshi agreed, "Everything's wrapped up. I can't wait to get outta here!"
He smiled at his brother, "Let's go!" He starting walking in the direction of the city gates. He really could not stand the city. Too many soldiers, rude people, and bad food. Amiboshi remained close to his twin brother as they made their way to the gates, afarid of loosing his brother to the rather rude crowd. He turned his head and gave a last look over the busy city before sighing out. Why did people have to act like such animals at times.
"So where to now?" Amiboshi asked, looking up at the other man as they were barely at the foot of the exit. He was unsure if they had anything else that needed to be done before the end of the day.

//Okay, in order to get my intro in I'ma throw in a few twists so I can propell Tama in a certain direction - can't believe I'm playing him so please scold me if I enter too many parody moments.
Also making my additional character more accessible for me at a later date and can provide me with ops later on.
I have no qualms with you playing some NPCs for now Naka-san but it isn't overly required. As was anticipated, she was not particularly thrilled to see him but as the eighteen year old slipped into the abode and gazed around at the valuable artefacts the silver haired woman did at last present him with an offer of tea and he could only assume that she had somehow come to terms with the fact that for some obscure reason he had dropped by for a chat - all the way from Konan.
"Now what is it this time?" She enquired in a delicate manner, carrying the tray laden with various utensils upon it. She wasted very little time in setting the tray down though and he winced as it made a small clatter upon the table before the ceramic cups upon it seemed to steady themselves. "If it's money again then you know I can't afford it." A flicker of guilt passed through her youthful features and she could only offer a fond yet wry smile.
"No, well -" He paused briefly, his hand in the air as some sort of half gesture and grimaced briefly at the approach he had taken - wow, he wasn't very good at being subtle, now was he?
"You see, I know you can't afford to give me any help that way but picture this." Now that he had decided upon his approach his eyes twinkled (like the true salesmen) and he proceeded to offer up his proposal to the silver haired woman who sat patiently by the small table with her hands loosely clasped in her lap - her expression was that of quiet consideration.
"You wish for me to return to Konan?" She seemed skeptical at this proposal and yet remotely she also seemed to like the idea of a little bit of travel - she had terribly itchy feet and simply couldn't help herself when it came to wanting to see new things...she hadn't been to Konan since she was a little girl!
"But you want me to take care of your family...while I'm there?" This is where she was most skeptical as, for one who liked money, he seemed to have ignored the fact that she became another mouth to feed within the household and would further his debts.
"Yes!" The young man clapped his hands together and offered one of the boyish grins she was so familiar with, "And don't worry - I promise to make sure you're well fed and -"
"How exactly will you do that? Tama-san you already have trouble taking care of your family as it is." The woman sighed and very gently pulled at one of the ribbons within her hair, "Do not get me wrong, I would gladly come to your aid but you must consider the proposal you make and the issues that arise from it..."
"It means my younger brother can spend more time at work." The now named 'Tama-san' looked slightly uncomfortable at what she had reminded him of but upon his words some form of understanding seemed to flicker in her steel grey eyes, "Trust me Douin, I know what I'm doing." He assured her while mentally noting that although her heart was in the right place, she was lousy with money.
"Well..." She fidgeted where she sat and glanced pointily at the tea which seemed to have cooled to a suitable temperature in which to drink from, "How soon do you intend to leave?" She asked at last, raising a brow as an expression of triumph clambered onto the young man's features and he seemed to rub his hands together...Well she could take that in a number of ways but she refrained from commenting.
"As soon as you're ready?" He chirped, the grin still riddling his face as he indeed felt triumphant but he was more delighted of the prospect that his father would finally have someone more mature to tend to him as opposed to all the strain being placed upon his little brother - that and Douin was a fantastic cook, but he would never admit that.
It was only a matter of hours (and much persuasion from Tama) before Douin was goaded into pulling together a small package of her things. She had brought a few utensils but mostly clothing and under the assurance that she would not be held for years in his sway (only until his father recovered - which could in fact take years but he didn't tell her this) she was at last ready to leave.
Aided by the 'gentleman' Tama, she was escorted to her steed and her parcel was carefully attached to the saddle...it was only then that she herself was 'thrown' up onto the mount and with a few grumbles of discomfort she settled herself for the long ride.
So far, Tama (or rather 'Tamahome' as he so frequently demanded to be called) had outlined the course in which they were to take...
Sairou Desert -> One of the harbours of the North -> Boat to Konan.
It was really a very simple route, there was just the problem of poor Douin getting rather sea sick in the process...

Amiboshi blinked blankly when he heard his brother, stopping his track for a moment before lowering his head and turning it to the side a little. His expression turned into a somewhat gloomy one as his left hand grabbed onto his right shoulder protectively.
Amiboshi had heard all about the rumors of another war coming up, the single thing he hated most in the world. "If we did...they would probably make us fight," he said in a voice just loud enough for Suboshi to hear. He was well aware what the word 'seishi' ment and what it would have them be doing. But his greatest fear was possibly losing the only thing he had left...his dear brother.

He needed some bit of affirmation that their way of life was the right one. He needed his brother to tell him they were doing the right thing. "But it's nice to dream, nee?"
The atmosphere was heavy now, and Suboshi was determined to change that. "So Aniki," he said a more cheerful voice, "What do you say we take that road?" He pointed out a smaller, rougher road than the main one out of the city. "If I remember right, there's a stream along the way, and we can get some fresh water for the road."

I did not know if you meant the cart person and Yui or not Kouji...so i played them off as other characters for the time being...and then next timne...if you did mean them...give a little more inclination...so i do not do this. sweatdrop
And Epine...I like it. Very new...very original. *Puts stamp of approval on it* If you need NPC's let me know..I am trying to minimize my "interference, unless wanted/neccessary.Kouji_no_miko (Tasuki) 'This place is a dump,' Tasuki thought but not without feeling. With a wide, fanged grin the bandit approached the palace confidently, oblivious to any stares from the locals. The guards at the gates were not paying much attantion to anything, they never needed to pay attention until they could tell someone was actually coming, with purpose and drive, to the gates...so even the wayward bandit, who stood out a little bit, was not an object of their attention, however...a small boy darted out in front of him and found himself tripping and falling face first into the mud, right in front the orange haird blaggart. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kouji_no_miko (Kouji) Kouji had gotten lost, part of him knew it and fully admitted it whilst the other part was blissfully unaware of it. Eventually he'd find Genrou and then laugh at his failings to rob the palace or cry because they'd both been caught and tossed into jail. 'Really don't feel much like prison today,' he decided. The two men were chatting about this and that, nothing of importance...not the best dressed looking, almost ruffian like, but their discussion was just common small talk. The one made some comment and the other had a hearty laugh about it, and then the both glanced up to see another person...who seemed a little misplaced from what they were used to, who seemed to be moving towards them. The one patted the other on the shoulder and said something rather quietly, and the other answered equally as quietly, then the first one waved, to initiate communication. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kitty Little (Tomo) "As you wish," Tomo said, meaning his words, "But I need no time for preparations, as long as your men provide provisions, everything else I need is already with me." He carried no bag with him, and so hoped that Nakago would understand. After following Nakago out of the throne room, he reunited with his companions. Nakago appeared to be in a daze, staring off as if to the distance, and he did not overly pay attention to the conversation between Tomo and his subordinates, but he caught a little bit.
"Then procede to the main stable, the envoy should be gathering there. I suspect that the emperor will be sending one of his better carraiges, as it seems he wants to make a grand impression with this little trip."
This was an understatement, in actuality, it was second only the the emperors personal one, and that would make the trip more tolerable.
I have a few things to attend to, and then we will leave."
He knew they would not leave without him...and that he had enough power for them to leave, even if the emperors compliment was not really there. He was not actually going to do that much, but he called for a servant and had him run to the stables and ready his horse. They would take it with them in case he wanted to ride, or certain events presented themselves that might warrant the need. He then made his way to his own room in the palace, already was he in his armor, and the servants would have packed clothing, knowing he was supposed to go, so he mearly grabbed his sword which he had not needed in putting down the uprising, and was now only brining it for appearence, and also the Seiryuu's copy of "The Universe of the Four Gods." If he was going to put on a charade, he would make it a good one.

Ok Devil's Pet...sorry for the delay. sweatdrop It was only so far away as far as physical mileage...but the Konan and Kutou Palaces were a world apart in so many ways, just like the countries over which each governed. In both however, there were many things which needed to be done, and some of which, required the direction or approval or action by the youngest emperor in the known world. The head advisor to the crown was frustrated, as he had slept late, which was no like him, and he knew there were some things that Saihitei needed a little prodding to get him engaged in...so it was highly unlikely that he would have been attending to them alone. And he recieved yet another report of the emperors lack of interest in the harem that was prepared. It was time to choose an empress on top of all the affairs of state. That being said and done..there was a slight ruckus in the Konan Palace, because the head advisor was trying to find the emperor. He had checked the bedroom, no answer, the throne room had the rest of the advisors waiting, where had he gone off to?

Hotihori had gotten tired of all of those old men talking to him the other night. He went to walk around the palce until he found a place that he could relax that was all he wanted right now. He went to the small lake near the palace, but he knew that someone would find him, werever he was, and that made him mad.
He couldn't take not being able to find any of the other warriors. He hoped that he others knew how important they were and didn't get themselves killed. 'huh...I guess I should go back and see if anyone missed me," he thought to himself.

He wished there had been time to go back to the caravan and gather some clothes, but that would have taken too long, and was not entirely necessary. He needed not carry more clothes should he wish to change his appearance when such an effortless method was at his disposal. He did not plan on getting terribly dirty, so he could live with his current ensemble for the time being.
When at last he arrived, the stables were bustling. Provisions were being loaded, and the company was scrambling to complete preparations in the most timely manner possible. His presence went mostly unnoticed in the chaos, and so Tomo sunk back into the shadows until Nakago appeared, and they were ready to leave.

After his eyes followed Suboshi's extended arm, he gave a small nod of the head. "Yes, that sounds good," he said with a small smile. Maybe he could talk to the other about it once they got to the stream. Along each other's side, the twins made their way down the set road. The road was, for the most part, quiet and empty. The stream was just a little ways out of town, it would not take too long to reach.
"Aniki," Suboshi said with come concern, "Something wrong?"
He felt as though something was weighing on his brother's mind, and that bothered him. He did not like it when his brother was anxious or sad. Their closeness was so much that most of Amiboshi's emotions were also felt by Suboshi, and vice versa, so it was usually best to resolve matters quickly for both their sakes. But more than that, Suboshi was resolved to let nothing and no one do his twin harm. He wanted his brother to be happy. Suboshi's hothead sometimes got them in trouble, and he was always sincerely sorry for causing Amiboshi grief. Truthfully, he did not know what he would do without his aniki.
"Is what I said before bothering you?"

Yui blankly glanced up at the farmer as he cleared his throat and slightly arched a brow, curious to know what her little 'hallucination' had to say. Oh he seemed to be good at stating the obvious alright. "Um...that is quite alright.....I rather just stay here for awhile longer until I either snap out of this hallucination or dream....whatever this may be..." Yui kindly declined inbetween sneezes, thinking it would be best to stay put until she either woke up from this dream or fell out of her hallucination trance. If she went along with that man offering to give her a ride in his cart than she could possibly risk the chance of sleepwalking heaven knows where. Every part of her body wanted to panic and she had to restrain herself to stay calm. If she panicked than that could only make things worse. Yui lightly shivered as she felt a small breeze brush through her flimsy pajamas and her cheeks once again flushed at the fact that she was standing infront of the man with this sort of clothing on. "Just what is this place anyways?" Yui suddenly asked, her eyes suddenly taken an interest on the pink bunny slippers she wore, unable to meet the farmer's gaze because of her embarressment. She didn't know why it bothered her so much, it wasn't like any of this was real...or what if it was?
