 Elly was just about to open her mouth to say something when the waiter came. She took her menu and looked at it while Dietrich took care of the waiter, she had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing. Looking up she realized the waiter was waiting for her to speak. "Oh. I'm sorry. Um, I'll have some green tea please." she said she had a feeling they wouldn't give it to her cold she'd just have to make it cold herself.

 Dietrich HeimNodding the waiter nodded darting off. "So that takes care of that" he muttered softly as his gaze looked around he needed to keep himself clam perhaps a drink of the highly sweet soda would help him some. "So what would the horrid hours be for the job?" he asked he resting his head on his hand.

Elly watched as the waiter left before turning back to Dietrich. "Well on Monday's to Thursday's we're open from nine a.m. to nine at night. On Friday's we're open till ten and on Saturday we're open till eleven thirty and we all have Sunday's off unless you get called in. And basically you'd clean tables, wash dishes, scrub floors, sometimes clean bathrooms and stuff like that." she explained and realized that it didn't sound like the greatest job ever. "But it pays good." she reminded him trying to make the job sound better.

Dietrich HeimDeitrich watched her before a soft smile spread over hsi features. "I don't care abotu what I have to do, El." He stated as the waiter came back. "Green tea for the lady, and a Coke for the sir." He stated before looking over them. "Ready to order?" He asked as Deitrich peered to the menu breifly before peering up. "what ever has the most calories." he stated waving his hand as the waiter nodded "sure, and you miss?" he as As Dietrich rolled his eyes toying with the soda before him tapping the ice in the glass.

Elly was about to speak when the waiter was back, it seemed like he always appeared when she wanted to speak. Taking her tea she quickly let go of it when she felt how hot it was, though she tried not to show it in her expression. "Whatever has the least calories." she said handing the waiter her menu, before he left. Unlike Dietrich, she couldn't eat as many calories or else her body would warm up and if her body got to warm she could possibly die or get sick either one really but she didn't really wanna find out. "Okay then. I'll introduce you to my boss." she said and then bite her lip slightly. Her boss had a pushy attitude and she was sure he'd push Dietrich over the edge. "Please, please, don't light anything on fire Dietrich. Please, if you do I swear I'm going to drown you in cold water. So please try to control yourself." she said in a pleading tone, though she was very serious. She couldn't lose her job, not when her parents weren't even working anymore and it was just her and her brother paying the bills.

Dietrich HeimAfter the waiter left Dietrich began to thaw his drink as he often put it his eyes rolling once more. "You don't have to make the water cold." He stated a shiver rushing through his body just at the thought of water. He couldn't swim it cooled him down far to much and deprived his body of Oxygen far to quickly leaving him in a rather foul mood. "How about this, if I promise not to light anything on fire will you not threaten me with water for a few days?" he asked before picking up his drink and taking a sip of it, still to cold but he could deal with it for now, he didn't want to confuse their poor waiter by having all his ice missing already. "Anyway, are there any important dates in school?" he asked twirling his finger to play with an ice cube in his drink. He never went to school much anymore when he did he almost always burned something usually he would lie something in one of the many trashcans up that way he couldn't be proven guilty.

Relaxing slightly when she heard his deal, Elly gently put her hands on her tea and slowly began to cool it down. "Okay, deal. But I swear if I see any smoke or even a spark..." she didn't finish her threat, knowing that he could finish it himself. When he started talking about school she rolled her eyes. "How about you start going and find out yourself?" she asked and she had a feeling she was asking for something that wasn't very possible. "We have a test, on Tuesday and on Friday there's a basketball game. Which I assume your not going to be at." she said taking a drink of her tea she winced slightly, it was still to warm for her to drink yet.

Dietrich HeimDietrich nodded still toying with the ice cube wishing that they would melt more quickly on their own. "No sparks or smoke, wait does that count if I smoke a cig? Or do I have to use a lighter?" He asked watching her, so there was important things to do at school, a test, thought a basket ball game could be fun if the hoop combusted for no reason. "You know the reason i don't go, I am sure their sick of replacing thrash cans." he stated before taking up an ice cube drying it off form his coke with a napkin and the dropping in into Elly's drink. "I should have asked for little ice."

It didn't take long for Elly to make her mind up. "Your going to have to use a lighter." she said and laughed slightly when Dietrich talked about the trash cans. "Maybe if you'd stop lighting things when I'm not around they wouldn't have to replace anything at all." she told him and watched as he dropped the ice cube into her tea. Testing the tea with her figure to make sure that it was cold enough before she brought it to her lips. "Ask the waiter when he comes back." she suggested and looked around them at the other tables, the place seemed to be getting crowded . She didn't like crowded places at all.

Dietrich HeimA frown marred his face as he raised a brow. "So I have to spend money to buy a device I don't actually need?" He muttered before turning his attention to the next detail. "I blame our fellow class mates who adore to piss me off." He hummed taking up his drink as sipping it lightly. still to cold but that didn't matter it was an easy enough thing to turn up it's temperature as the drank the liquid it would just burn more of his calories. "And the teachers for being stupid." Dietrich added as an after thought.

"I'll buy it for you then." Elly suggested taking another sip of her tea, it was the perfect temperature for her. Listening to him she grimaced slightly, she didn't like there classmates much either but she still tried to get a long with them. "Just ignore them. I get annoyed too but you don't seem me freezing people blocks of ice." she said, her powers weren't linked to her emotions but that didn't mean she couldn't get mad enough that might freeze someone. "The teacher's aren't really that bad." she added, some of their teachers were actually kind of nice.

Dietrich Heim"I tried ignoring them." he stated flatly peering up at her the temperature around them rising a few degrees before dropping again. "I try but they always find a way to get under my skin." He muttered running his finger through his hair. "Sorry about the temperature too." He stated knowing that she needed the cold just like he needed the warmth to survive. He turned his head away from Elly as he stared out the window the people around didn't bother him so much. It was when they wouldn't shut up for no reason.

"Get ear plugs." Elly told him when he said that they always got under his skin. "If you can't hear them, then they can't get under your skin." she said and smiled. She felt the temperate around them rise and fall and it made her uncomfortable slightly. "It's okay." she said looking around her mouth fell open as she saw a couple come in. She recognized both of them right away, it was her ex-boyfriend out with another girl already. Her eyes turned from soft to hard as she watched them be seated two tables away from them, she felt the coldness rush through her towards her hands, freezing the cup in her hands. Looking down at it she bit her lip. "Shoot." she hissed slightly, her tea was froze solid and the cup itself had frost on it. She looked up at Dietrich. "A little help here?" she asked her hands where stuck to the cup from the frost and the waiter was their way.

Dietrich HeimA smirk rose to Dietrich's face as he wrapped his hands around hers. "Time to make ex jealous?" he cooed softly before focusing the heat on them he needed to be careful if he sent to much to quickly the glass could explode and he could burn Elly, to little and the glass wound't thaw in time. He bit his lower lip before doing the only thing he could think of to pull them a bite more time his lifted his eyes focused just over her shoulder to her Ex's table the moment he was seated he lite the edge of his coat on fire and it quickly began to grow in size. As the screams of fire exploded around them he went back to thawing her hands and the drink. "Sorry only thing I could think off." he muttered pulling away once the drink was thawed and her hands no longer glued to it.

Elly didn't like the feeling of the warm on Dietrich's hands but she didn't complain as long as she could get her hands back. Glancing back as she saw her ex's coat catch on fire she quickly turned around and started laughing as he freaked out. Once her laughter stopped she just shook her head. "It's totally fine. That back stabbing jerk deserves it." she said glancing back she chuckled as they struggling to stop what light of the fire was left. Pulling her hands free of the cup she flexed her figures as she tried to cool them down again.
