Katia nodded, gripping Nikita's arm to help keep her balanced. "We should get to our rooms probably, I think we're across the hall from each other..." Katia tapped her chin with her free hand while she spoke and almost dropped the bags that were over her shoulder.
"Give those to me," Nina said, standing with Lulu on her shoulders, "Did you find them in the hall?" Katia replied with a nodd as she placed the bags over Nina's hindquarters. "You should check to see if anything is broken, they probably got quite a bit of jostling."
Katia blinked, here eyes going wide. She cursed in her own language as she pulled open the pack she had placed the flower in. Her hand came away with only a few shards of the blue petals. Katia's face fell. She felt like crying. It had been a beautiful gift from a kind boy whom she though she might grow to like. And she had let it get shattered.

Nikita saw the glass flower "Please may I?" she said softly looking at it her hand out softly Lulu smiles softly then whispers in Nina's ear "She's a glass maker she can fix it just give it her and in ten minutes it'll look like it's never broke" she murmurs.

"But that's not glass! Its made from a dragons scale!" Nina replied worriedly to the fox. "will she still be able to mend it?" Nina knew Katia would have fixed it herself in a heartbeat, but she didn't have the experience for working with dragon scales. It was seeming to Katia that she was lacking in a lot of experience recently. She held the pieces of the flower in her hands and looked up at Nikita.
"Ypu can mend dragon scale?" she asked, a waver in her voice.

"Yes she still could her teacher was a craftsman and taught her how to mend things in different materials she even brought some of them with her so she doesn't get bored" The fox said happily, Nikita looked at the flower softly "Yep just give me a day and it'll be back to normal I have the craft tools here" she pulled out a pouch with small tools and spare metal, dragon scales and glass.

A worried look crossed Katia's face as she contemplated the ups and downs of telling Darek it had been broken, versus that of letting Nikita fix the flower. Fixing it won. "Could you please?" she asked the other elf pleadingly. She really wanted the flower to be whole again, but she didn't want to burden Nikita.
Nina nodded in reply to Lulu. "Alright then, I think that's a good idea then," she said, turning a slightly worried look on her mage. Katia seemed really bothered by this. The elf haddent fallen apart like this since Miguel had left her, a year ago. In fact, Katia hadn't shown as wide a range of emotions since then, and her temper had gotten worse. "Maybe this new boy will be good for her," she thought in the back of her mind.

Nikita nods softly "It'll be done bu tommorrow" she sasid taking the flower gently and places it into her crafts bag.

Katia closed her eyes and sighed softly. "Thankyou," she said with a smile, "I really do appreciate it." she ran a hand over her wet eyes, removing any traces of the unshed tears. She grinned. "We ahould probably get back to our rooms and get unpacked," she added, glancing at the bags she had given back to Nina.
The nighthunter nodded. "That sounds good to me," she told Katia with a flick of her ears. "I'm tired. And hungry. Do you think they will be serving the midday meal soon?"

Denrek shook himself as Darek seemed to be off in his own world. Darek nearly lost his balance. "What was that for?!"
Denrek turned his head around to look at Darek. 'Your mind is not here right now. We are almost at our room now get back here with me.' He said as he continued to search for the room 'How do they expect me to get through that door.' Denrek said as the looked at the human sized door.
Darek laughed As he looked around. There was a large hole in the ceiling above the room. Darek pointed it out to Denrek. "It looks like our room comes with a dragon hold." Darek hopped off Denrek and entered the room as Denrek made his way in through the dragon hold.

Katia nodded back in reply, a smile staying on her face. She turned to Nina before they started walking, and pulled a parchment out of her pack. "this says that lunch will be at noon[," she said, heading back down the hallway, "So we should have about twenty minutes to unpack our things. Oh! Our rooms are across the hall from each other! If we leave our doors open we can talk while we set ourselves up!" Katia knew her mind tended to jump around a lot, but it was sometimes difficult for her to keep it under control. Nina was laughing at her lightly.

The hall way was nearly empty by now, and Katia could see her door from where they were. She grinned as they continued down the hall. Once at her roomm, she took a moment to appreciate the heavy dark-stained cherry wood door. Swinging the door open, she stepped inside with Nina right behind her.
The room was large, roomy, and low lighted. The room was colored with dark blues and purples that almost matched Nina's dark fur. At one end of the room, a large bed stood against the wall. There was a big work table at the opposite side of the room and several book shelves lining the walls. The windows were tall and arched with heavy blue curtains. All the furniture was made of wood that was stained darkly.

Nikita went to her room and unpacked and started to work on Katias rose she slowly took the broken petal and carefully put it back together and made it look like it was never broken and left it inside a glass tube so it could dry and settle down.

Katia took her bags from Nina and placed them on the table. The room was perfectly to her liking. She sighed as she began pulling her things from the bags. She placed her few books on the bookshelf and left her magic-working tools on the table beside a small collection of herbs and spices. Her clothes went into the wardrobe that srood against the wall at the foot of the bed.
By the time the elf was finished unpacking it was almost noon. Students had begun to file out into the hall, headed toward the dinning hall. Katia poked her head into Nikita's room. "Hey, every one is headed to lunch," she said with a nod toward the hall, her braids clattering together, "wanna go?"

"Thanks for the offer but I'm not hungry" she glances at the sleeping Lulu "Neither is she" she smiles lightly "You go on ahead I still need to keep an eye on your rose for you" she said gesturing to the glass rose.
