"Ah?" The shinobi regarded his students. They were a lively group. That would be good, he thought, as his eyes focused slightly on the two boys a good ways up on the tiers. The one that had laughed, and the other...
He glanced at a list of students sitiing on the desk beside him. The Grass Ninja kid. It'd do until he could remember a name. So, Grass Ninja didn't agree with his method? Good point. so far there wasn't a plan. Laughing Boy didn't seem to mind.
Then there was the Sullen Boy. "Today...we are getting to know each other. I figured that because today was the first dayu of class that we'd wing it." He smiled in a non-threatening way. It was a lie of course.
"And while we are doing that, you can call me, Roichi-sensei."

he settled all four legs on the ground "you got it chief!"

Kasai regarded his new sensai with calculating eyes. He was almost certain this man couldn't be as incompetent as he appeared. He seemed to agree with both the ninja infront of him. True it was hard to belive he was a jounin, yet people don't just aquire that position easily. Kyoshima poked his head around the side of the desk and took a look at his new sensai as well. He mearly shrugged and returned back to laying beneath the desk. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of his head as he found his illusion harder to keep up. First day of school must be ruining my concentration. Kasai looked down on him and frowned. If school is distracting you, how do you think you will face in actual combat, where the situation puts you in real danger? A smile slowly spread across Kasai's face. You realize your going to have to practice tonight as well, where you have nothing to "distract" you. Kasai laughed quietly as he turned his attention back to the teacher, ignoring Kyo's protest and excuses. Just because he was a different person when he was in actual combat doesn't mean he shouldn't try as hard when he isn't fighting.

"yeah teach, im kinda curious, how exactly we gonna get to know each other or what ever?" he again began to lean back in his desk

Kasai waved to Akii as she burst in. "I'm sure he won't mind. He was late as well, after all." He grinned and ducked under the table. A pop was heard and Kyoshima came back up.

"where were you?" he said.

Roichi had been distracted by examining the list of students when a girl popped in through the doors, exclaiming apologies. He made a gesture with his hand to be seated without looking at her yet. Akii. That was her name. He glanced over to put face to name, and nodded. Okay.
"Okay, class, settle down. And you, the one with the loud mouth," his eyes focused on Yamato. There were some notations about the kid, as there were from other sensei about all the kids. Yamato was one of the 'troublesome' ones. "Try to pipe down a bit. It's sai here that you like to cause trouble. I like a bit of spunk in those I teach, but still... And you, Grass Ninja Kid, what about that thing on your shoulder? Take it off won't you? The girl who just entered, Akii, is it? Try to come to class on time, and I will too." He offered with a smile.
"The one with the dog, try to keep the ninjutsu outside of class until you are called on to do something instructive. As for the rest of you, understand that I don't like to be the authority that much. I'd rather just have fun, but don't push it. You will learn here, and you will learn well, because the rest of the world won't care how skilled you think you are, it'll try and kill you anyway." His face had become set, almost grim, as he spoke, but then it lightened again.
"Now, how about each of you stand and tell the class a little about yourselves."

Kyo made a small bow and nodded to the teacher. Looks like thats the end of that. Hai was all Kyo said. Kasai nudged him and told him to stand up, so he did. "Names Kyoshima. I come from a tribe that teaches humans, as well as wolves. They train with us and become our partners, like Kasai here." He paused for a moment and did a little mental shrug. They didn't need to know about him being thrown out. He'd only bring that up if his squad members made a comment on it. " My weapon of choice are my tonfas and exploding notes, because everyone knows exploding notes are fun." He made a small bow to the class and sat back down.
