Ike was tending to the horses, taking their harness off, unhooking them from the wagon and letting them graze around the campsite. With a harness still in hand he looked to the girl, he didn't say anything and neither did she, after the silence he set the harness down where it belonged, gazed back at the girl who had not stopped watching him and finally he walked away heading off to help Clavat with her fire.

Ike stopped, he gazed back at the girl wandering what she wanted. Turning he faced her, waiting for her to say what she needed it was a few moments of silence. Raising an eyebrow he waited but still nothing "...Yes?" he finally asked

Ike didn't say anything at first, he couldn't understand how she could recognize him by just seeing his other form. "No, we have not." he replied, he wasn't going to tell a stranger about his other self. Thinking back on it she was scared seeing him as a dragon he wasn't going to do that again. He left the girl standing there as he joined Clavat who was out of the girls sight. As he sat next to the young spell caster he couldn't help but think about the new girl.

Richard yawned as he listened to James' story about his son, he wasn't tired, it was the fact that he was bored, there was nothing to do at night with him being stuck at camp. Looking at everyone he watched them listen to James, their complete attention focused on him. Getting up slowly he began to sneak away towards the shadows, intending to walk into the forest and play a bit with Yoko and Maka. Only moments later he had succeeded in sneaking away and was in the forest. Pausing to grin he looked at the darkness around him and began to chant in a whisper, his voice echoing as if there was more than one person nearby, lending their voice into the chant. "Yoko of the White Feather, Devourer of those Lost, I call you. Maka of the Black Wings, Hunter of the Betrayers, I seek you. Come out from the depths, the time has come for the games to begin once more." with that the chanting, the echoes halted, bringing about total silence as two wisps of smoke started to flow around the young boy, his eyes bright as he watched the Chimera's come into being....


Not far from the camp, one of the soldiers from before watched this scene unfold infront of him, slowly he moved closer, doing everything he could to remain silent, to remain hidden...

With echoing howls both of the chimera's fully came into being, Yoko standing on Richard's left, Maka on his right. "What game should we play?" he asked the two beasts, a grin on his face as they looked thoughtful, before Yoko reared up and pushed Richard onto the ground with a playful growl. Laughing the kid rolled and got back up before he turned and ran further into the forest with both chimera's chasing him and howling at the same time, giving a warning to anyone nearby and simply enjoying the sound of their voices.

Hearing the howls and following the kid and his pet beasts the soldier pulled an amulet from a pouch tied to his waist and gave a short prayer, hoping that it would work as it was supposed to...

"Huh?" Richard said as his foot caught on something and fell flat on his face. Yelping Maka stopped and started to help Richard up as something landed on the ground next to them and flashed brightly, causing Maka to howl in pain and vanish. Yoko turned in the direction the object had been thrown from and snarled, ready to defend his master now. Pushing himself up the young boy watched as another object was thrown to the white chimera and the samething that had happened to Maka happened to Yoko, except Yoko roared in rage as he vanished. "Who's there? What did you do to Maka and Yoko?!" the boy yelled into the trees, looking around in fear, not sure where the next attack might come from.

"Your coming with me, I will not be executed today boy!" the soldier shouted as he charged from behind Richard, yanking an ax from his belt intending to knock out the boy quickly.

"I...Yeah, I'm sorry Pops..." Richard said looking at the ground, glad that he had been saved by James.

The soldier looked at his tied arms and then back at James, "I'm only following orders, why are you stopping me? Don't you know what that kid is? He's a monster from the summoners' village, he needs to be executed by one of the priests there!" the soldier yelled, pulling at the branches that were wrapped around his arms.

As Richard heard that he took a step shaking his head, not believeing what he was hearing. "Its not true, your the monsters! All of you, you kiled everyone there!" he yelled, clenching his fists.

"Are you stupid? Don't you see what he really is?! Just look at his eyes, he's one of Them!" The soldier struggeled even more, his eyes rolling into the back of his head, "That thing will kill all of you!" he screamed as he got one arm free and looked at James insanely.

Back at the camp, a wisp of smoke from the fire curled and twisted in the air slowly, growing bigger with each second. It flowed over the sleeping forms of Ike, MaryMay, and Clavat, a red glow forming at the tip of the smoke as it sped towards the forest in the direction James, Richard, and the soldier were at. Within moments it was behind them, only the soldier was able to see it as he began to scream and struggle even more, swinging his free hand wildly about as the smoke rose in the air like a snake, posed to strike at Richard from behind while James' attention was focused on the soldier. Glancing behind himself, Richard blinked at the creature of smoke, not realizing it was a threat at the moment.
