For a pet name... how about Winged Blossoms... or...
Petal Pets?
I am interested in maybe trying the part time colorist thing..don't know if you guys would like my talents though.. cuz i know there are so many people who are better colorists than I am.
ooh.. for a name, dancing blossoms? :O
edit: i saw your last post as i was writing this in the window below.. lol. Petal Pals.. that's awesomely perfecT! is it ok for me to color a few too?
I mean... I doubt I'd be good enough to be hired, but I am starting my own shop soon. So, dunno how often I'd be able to contribute.
as for hte idea of everyone certing their own works.. I think that is a fabulous idea. A shop I am already a part time colorist at had a huge problem which has led to the shop being at an almost dead point.. because noone knew who was certing what.. who was growing what, etc.. and the shop manager started getting overly stressed out and stuff. I've had to step up and start recommending some procedures to clean up all that fallout. and, even with those fixes.. it could take some time for that shop to pick up any popularity.
I just mention that to say that in this shop.. I think it's better if every person who intends to make a pet to be sold, raffle, auction, etc... should also be the one to cert it. It saves a lot fo frustration. Also, you may want to have a stipulation which requires a colorist to have all stages done before they turn it in for a sale.. that way if for some reason, they need to go on a hiatus due to work, school or other real life issues... the owners aren't left with pets that can't grow or be grown...

*chuckles* I was thinking something along the lines of at least the first three or four stages before it could be flatted, as well as a sort of colour palate just incase.
And yes, colour away. ^.^
(Apple, I've already set up a Photobucket for it, so... whee )

I think that one I shoved down to 50% But the cert can be up to 500 x 500px. I resized the cert BKG to 70% or there abouts, with a 90% opacity from what Teepet had.
Don't be afraid to play around with sizes. Once we settle down, we'll figure out a standard size to smush them all down to to fit and so they'll all look the same.
Note: Something I've recently found handy. XD When I go to resize an image, I can't always seem to make it maintain it's smoothness, and it looks choppier than what I like. Lately, I've realised that if I vew the image at the percentage I want and take a screen shot, crop it back down, and delete the background to make it transparant again, it keeps the image looking smooth. Who knows why. >.>

Here is a url of the image without being on the cert. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v27/graceangel/Breedables stuff/coloring projects/1BudP.pngIf it's ok to ask here, how do i take the image and lay it on teh cert and hide the white background from the flower image in PSP? Cuz, I dunno how you do that... is there a way to make the background turn off? like, say when you use ms paint, and you can choose when copying it that you can have background transfer or not. Also, I have colored the other stages if you guys would like to see that as well.
