Perfect day = perfect reason to be happy.
So, N found two comics she was looking for, found the perfect hat for her costume, discovered the 7-11 closest to her home is about the only one in this city that sells Yoo-Hoo (and stocks those nummy sugar-coated doughnuts she loves, but those are at all 7-11's here), got some bat nice earrings at Claire's, and got Slappy New Year---it was listed to come out next month, so either that source was wrong, or the distributors chose to release it earlier. Also, the buses today came when I needed them, and the first 10 bus was the one that went straight home, and picked me up just as it was starting to get chilly.
In any case, all of this = perfect day for N. The universe loves me today.
My luck also apparently rubbed off on a friend, who was having trouble finding shoes that fit over her brace and got a new pair. <3
Nothing can ruin my happiness.
Not even the fact that the Stine completely contradicted his canon. White text for spoilers, though I doubt anyone reads these but me. XP In Night of the Living Dummy III, he stated re-reading the magic words would not put Slappy back to sleep. Guess what happens in Slappy New Year?. I can forgive it in that the HorrorLand series can be considered an alternate universe (case in point: newer books ignore sequels in the original series). Less forgivable: re-using two of Slappy's insults. From an earlier book in the same series. But still not enough to ruin my mood, as a lot of the book had me laughing until my sides hurt. <3
I am going to top this up with a viewing of Nightmare Before Christmas and some hot cocoa. ^^

I wowed the judges as the Scarecrow, and took home the prize for the scariest costume for my fourth year in a row.
Truly, I am the Master Mistress of Fear. <3

Jeez, Nightmare, you have enough good days to make a person jealous. xD
Reasons to be Happy: We're closing on a house November 4th, and Nanowrimo is in two days. My mom is planning on sending me back to Oregon for a week after we get the house so that I can do Nano with my best friends. That is happiness in a bottle.

I can finally get on the freaking computer! I swear this week was crazy. I'm happy because the Giants are pretty much crushing the Rangers and of course because Halloween is on Sunday so there is that too!

It's possible I may get to see my girlfriend for a week or two if I hit 100k on NaNoWriMo. This doubles my work amount, but for her, I'd happily do more. I really, really want to see her, so I'm really, really hopeful our mothers will allow it.
So even though I have more work than every to do, I can't wait to get to work and get this thing done. <3
