I know very limited traditional characters. sorry......maybe you r right none of us know traditional...but i don't know for sure. how come none of you know traditional? Is it because your mandarin chinese teachers only teach simplified? or is traditional too hard in the short-run?

OOoo i know traditional well actually i was only taught traditional at my chinese school 喔!! 那真的很好~~ 因為我發現最近大部分的中文老師都只交簡體字，因為比較簡單。但是我覺得繁體字比較好，因為繁體字會了，簡體字也就看得懂~~ ^^

You can actually trace each word to its roots thousands of years ago. Good luck!!
