Ololamin came closer and knelt in front of him. "Join me," he said. "And you will kill as many Arc Angels as you wish."
"I have never seen the Heavens," she said. She looked at his wings. "You are obviously a higher being. Were you drawn back to this place as well?"

Calix knelt without question. He breathed deeply before he nodded.
Aedan nodded. "My mother left the heavens to search out Gandalf. Why, I do not know. But I've been drawn here, so it must be something." he smiled.

Selene watched the exchange quietly, hoping they had forgotten about her.

Andraste turned back to Selene. "And don't you think we've forgotten about you." she approached her, running her hand down Selene's cheek, before slapping her viciously. "The next time you run off to help this idiot cause unneeded chaos, it will be your last breath."
Alyx observed quietly, then approached Kriskhan. "Are you alright?" she whispered, sitting next to her as she did so. She eyed the wound carefully, trying desperately to think of more comforting words.

Selene glared toward the ground. "Yes, Ma'am," she said.
"I'm fine," she said. She returned the winged man's smile before turning to Alyx. She looked up at the man who followed her. "A noble one indeed. Are you descended from Dunadan?"
Zanfire's eyes opened wide. "No. No. None so important. I am descended from a few he traveled with."

Andraste withdrew her hand, and looked back to Calix and Ololamin, curious of Ololamin's desires to retreat to the lower ground with Calix.
Aedan's smile fainted a little, but he regained it's strength as Kriskhan looked to him. He sat to the opposite side of her, folding in his wings as carefully as he could. He did his best to hide the burns he'd earlier received on his arms under his wings. Though he attempted, the burns hurt to the extent where it was too painful to press on them with his light wings.

Ololamin stood up and placed his finger on the back of the man's neck. "Remember with whom your loyalties lay," he said tracing an eye on the back of his neck.
"You okay there, Feathers?" he asked. "I know you're burned." He was looking to the elf. "Anyone else?"

Aedan sighed. There was no getting past Zanfire. He unfolded his wings lightly, revealing three deep burn marks. "Yes I have burns, but I dare not waste the hoof on my scars. The solution is scarce to those below. And flight to the Heavens is a three day journey, time which none of us contain."
Calix's rage burned for Aedan, but for reasons only Calix himself knew. Not even the deepest of readers could translate or understand this hatred. Though it emanated off of him like a piercing fire, it could not be read.

"Hoof? Heavens? You think a Ranger wouldn't have a salve or two for burns on him?" he asked pulling out a small bundle that smelled of green things. He passed the bag first to Krisk and then to the winged man.
Olomin looked to Andraste. "He will be useful," was all that came from him before he turned and walked away from the man on the ground.

Aedan smirked, the sarcasm pulling a smile to his face. He adjusted his arm once more, and applied the salve onto the burns. He cringed lightly, but pulled through the pain.
Andraste smiled. At least someone put a use to him. With a smirk, she turned back to Selene. "Now, as for you, you will learn your place. Tonight, you are the watch. If the camp falls, the blame will lie on your shoulders." As Andraste finished, she pulled a strand of her hair back, her black eyes gracefully scanning Selene. "Is that understood?"

Selene nodded. "Yes, Ma'am," she grumbled.
Kriskahn looked at the little mage. "You had something you wished me to translate?" she asked.

Andraste followed after Ololamin, her eyes gliding up his body until finally reaching his face. She withheld the smile she wished to show. "What was that about?"
Alyx seemed clueless for a moment, finding herself forgotten of the conversation previously held. After another moment, she fumbled around her bag before finally unearthing the small, green stone. She carefully handed the stone to Krisk. The ancient writing sparkled from the gold ink used to write the inscription.

Olomin glanced at her and then away. "Pawns," was all he said glancing in the direction they had come from.
Kriskahn smiled. "Very interesting," she said. She passed the stone back still smiling.

Andraste finally released a small smile, a faint, but notiable sign of agreement towards Olomin. It faded quickly as she turned back towards the others. She gave a glare towards both Selene and Calix. The anger in her pulsed for their arogance. In her controlled anger, she allowed herself for release. Without even a wave of the staff or a murmur from the lips, she casted a spell on Calix, making him uncontrolably attracted to Selene. Neither of them could ever be partners, but it would be torturously fun to watch such an arrogant fool be caught at his very soul. The spell was not of love, for true love cannot be conjured. She had casted a spell of lust, of him being attracted to her for of unholy reasons, Andraste's favorite kind. She winked at Selene mockingly, before retiring to her tent.
Alyx observed the stone carefully, then looked backed to Kriskahn. "What did it say, Krisk? Was it an anceint prophecy? Was it a guide to some sort of supernatural savior? Was it a message from the past? The future? Is it a cry for help?"
Alyx continued on this way for another 4 or 5 minutes before Aedan rested his hand upon her shoulder, and lightly interupted her. "Perhaps we should let the Wood Elf speak, darling Mage."

Selene didn't understand that wink. She didn't like it. It suggested something sinister. She frowned as she watched the two. She mentally cursed them before turning to stalk off somewhere. She felt movement behind her and turned to see Calix. "What do you want this time?" she asked, clearly still angry with his first suggestion.
Kriskahn just chuckled. "It's a paper weight. It reads, 'To my dear Andor, may your scrolls never waver in the breeze.' A very nice gift to a scholar." She sighed and turned to the ranger. "Zanfire?"
Zanfire looked at them, obviously trying to contain laughter. "You translated a paper weight? And here I thought most elves only used their script for magical purposes." He failed to notice her glare.
"Shall we press on?" she asked before turning and walking back through the foilage. She hadn't waited for a reply. She went to the nearest tree and climbed it. Throwing her cloak hood up she seemed to meld into the tree itself.
