Lance turned his attention to a few of the people coming in, he felt slightly intimidated everyone other then himself that was called to the room was a SeeD. Lance had found every profile on the computer that was called for the mission, Turning his attention to Yuna his cheeks flushed red her picture did not match up to her apperance in person. Lance quickly burried his attention back in the computer starting up a game of solitaire.

Xero said, "Of course." To Hunter when he told him he needed a moment. He sat fiddling with his monitors colors, swooping his finger around the screen to mesh the colors together as a wave around his finger. The door opened and he saw two faces he knew a little better. He gave a little wave and salute to the couple walking in the door. He was glad they were going. His mind was on the mission and he was nervous, but thrilled at the same time.

It was hard not to smile when Alexei smiled at her. The gentle kiss helped too. Adara was a bit nervous about the mission, though she would keep that to herself, since the last one she had been involved in had caused her to come back with multiple injuries and memories that she would much rather forget. It was unlikely that it would happen twice in a row, right?

The girl followed Alexei closely and almost forgot to show her ID when passing through the door. It was out of the corner of her eye that she spotted Xero give them a salute. Often forgetting the formalities that came with being in her uniform (and being higher rank), Adara took the gesture as just a friendly greeting and responded with a short wave and a small smile. She was still a little apprehensive of Xero after the incident with Brecklin and the day in weaponry class when he refused help, but she did her very best to not let it show.

The green-haired SeeD gave a nod to the vaguely familiar face of her superior at the front of the room before she reached out to take Alexei's hand in hers.

"Let's go sit there," she whispered to him with a smile and pointed to a few seats just to the side of where the new cadet was sitting looking very intent in his computer game. "We can get to know the new kid."

"I know what you mean by this being a first for us new SeeD, anyways come sit by me and we can talk about something" Hunter walk back over to take his seat by Xero as he waited for Yuna

Growing agitated by the still missing SeeD, Nezrain quickly tucked her hair behind her ears and glanced about the classroom. Focusing on the SeeDs, she figured she had waited long enough, and the tardy, if not entirely absent, SeeD would have to speak with her or some other staff member directly.

Glancing over at Danae, she the other woman raised an eyebrow, and she merely nodded in response. Stepping around the desk, Nezrain took a deep, easy breath before beginning.

"Thank you for coming in a timely fashion. If you could please find a seat, we'll be starting the briefing shortly." Looking around, she made her way to the back of the classroom, discreetly whispering to Komet, "There's something else that requires our attention, so you haven't been assigned to this mission. I'll explain later, but it is somewhat important." She continued walking around, watching her peers filter through the room and interact, before finally returning to the front, satisfied for the moment, though not before checking at the doors to see if their errant SeeD had shown up. The Garden staff informed her otherwise, and she had them clear the hall, keeping the doors sealed for the time being.

"For those of you who don't know me, not that I expect any of you should, I'm Nezrain Marquoal. I've been with Garden for quite some time now, but have spent much of it away on deployment. Today I'll be briefing you on your current mission." Standing at her full height, posture strong and assertive, she paced in front of the desk to stand at it's right side, the woman from Dollet still standing behind it and to the left.

"The dukedom of Dollet has recently experienced a rash of disappearances and missing persons reports. They believe a ring of kidnappers to be the culprits. However further investigations have been hindered by their limited martial force. Aware of their limits, the government of Dollet has entered into a contract with Garden."

"We have two explicit responsibilities in this matter, as per the wording of the contract. Both are requisite to completion of the mission. Stated simply, our first objective is to find the cause of the disappearances. Based on those findings, the contract dictates that, should we find the cause to be harmful or in any manner hostile to the missing parties, we take the appropriate action to put an end to whatever that cause may be."

"Though we are only legally expected to perform the two aforementioned objectives, it is important to remember the prestige and reputation of Balamb Garden. Whether you are a cadet or SeeD operative, it is necessary to strive to improve and polish that image. Therefore, a third objective, stated in no explicit means in the contract, has been added to the duty roster. If at all possible, locate the missing persons and return them safely to Dollet."

"For this mission, the SeeD operatives will work in cooperation with a single Dollet operative. As the primary investigator of the case, this operative can fill you in on all the details of the investigation, provide insight to the locale, and will work as your equal in the matter. "

Pausing, she turned to the woman behind her. "This is Danae Geldling. She will be you adviser and ally in this endeavor. I expect you all to show her the respect she deserves as a long standing member of Dollet's formal military, and decorated officer."

Danae stepped forward, nodding, and saluting the collective occupants of the room. "Thank you for your support in this matter. I look forward to working with all of you."

"Are there any questions?" She asked, looking about the group, unaware or ignoring the occasional stare she was getting from the taller woman behind her.

Nezrain gave Lance a nod of acknowledgment, before turning to Danae. The other woman stepped forward, ready for the question.

"Cadet Fleurette," she repeated, "the abducted parties have ranged in age from approximately 14 years of age, to twenty years of age. There have been a few exceptions, but the vast majority fall into this age range. The gender had been mixed, both male and female. Other than that, we are unaware of any similarities between the victims."

Xero thought about Adara's question and added, "Yes, has anyone seen them leave the city or even the direction they headed, if seen at all? I know children can be quite noisy." Xero didnt like to speak out of turn, but he also wanted to save Nezrain and Danae some time by asking further into a similar subject. He regarded the woman differently now. He did not imagine she would be military, even by her posture. Once again, he learned no to judge a book by its cover.
